- Today we take you down south where we discovered an abandoned family compound complete with 5 houses total with a private lake and 40 acres of land with a whopping worth of 5 million dollars. The property was built in 1986 for a wealthy family from Romania who made their fortune in the railway business. The man started his company in Romania and was very successful. He even started more railway projects in other countries including the United States where he and his family would settle down. But as the years went by the company began to fall apart especially when the pandemic started. And by 2021 the man had no choice but to file bankruptcy. The family lost their home in the united states and ultimately moved back to their native country of Romania leaving this property to the bank and left abandoned with everything still inside. So join me today and let’s see what’s left.
After carefully examining the things left behind in this beautiful estate we came to the conclusion that this home might have plans in the future to be demolished and the 40 acres be re developed for a neighborhood.

Gosh you can tell these were truly homes lived in and loved by the inhabitants. Nothing ostentatious. All livable, lived in, comfortable spaces.
Why do the banks just let these houses rot???? Goes to show you how big banks are so wasteful!!!
Why would they? It costs a lot of money to upkeep them and it’s not necessary since whoever buys it will refurbish it. It would be far more wasteful for the bank to maintain it. Banks are not real estate developers or property managers, they’re just banks.
I believe the banks just don’t care. It’s such a shame such nice bedroom sets. Had to be multiples related families In this house.
For real! I would love one!
@@Rebncliff
Yeah me too, just one😊
Likely because they can do better financially selling to a developer since it includes 40 acres. With properties that don’t have nearly as much land may just be used to claim a loss on the bank’s taxes, but I also find myself scratching my head many times.
The turntable in the kitchen cupboards are often called lazy Susan's. Most of the time they are used for spices. What a beautiful house.
I quit watching the video after 6 mins as this guy doesn't talk right and repeats himself.
This property would make a great retirement home for elders who need assistance.
Let's buy it and turn it into an assisted living house!
I'd love to see that happen. Let's do it!
Yes a 501c3 would save it & put to good use
The property would make a nice new neighborhood for 300 families once these functionally obsolete houses are leveled.
Outdated or not, this is nicer than many people have. And older appliances are sometimes much more durable. The stuff out there now is junk. I’ll take outdated any day. What a cool find!
I know you guys are super respectful and careful about the properties you visit but I like to pretend that you take the beautiful chandeliers and things that you love so much. At least it would be cared for and loved. Thank you.
Such beautiful homes!! No matter how many of these videos I watch I just can’t grasp the waste of such gorgeous homes. It blows my mind and is sickening. Thanks for sharing another great place.
Beautiful property. I was thinking that the family might have been hoping to return some day and that's one of the reasons they left so much behind. Sad that they lost so much.
um no
its expensive to move all those posesions across ocean
@@realist7239 agreed, this is one of the possibilities I mentioned in the live chat.
Bank owns everything now,
Kinda weird every room has folding chairs + restroom signs + the plastic cups and plates -+add in rooms with enough seating for 15 = weird sketchy compound
This place gives off the vibes of being a meeting place..... a gathering place what with alll the beds tucked in every corner..... from what use to be the pool room to that second wing upstairs...... crazy.... and not to mention all the surrounding houses
Rite weird vibes .. plastic cups in rooms kids toys & clothes randomly left behind!? All those couches & beds ..
You've probably been asked this a million times, why do the banks just let these houses and the contents go to rot? It seems like such a waste. Do they even try to liquidate the contents or sell the properties? Great job making theae videos!
I wish I had a logical answer for why banks leave them like that.
To understand you have to think of money as just an idea. Money is only valuable if people think it is valuable, otherwise it is just paper. So, when banks repossess properties to settle debts, they take physical assets that represent something tangible. Tangible is important to underdtand for land and structures, because the land is physical (so not just an idea) and the structure is physical (so not just an idea) and those physical things have real world use applications. That real world use as tangible assets means that the money that was "recouped" by taking the physical stuff then exists on the books as liquidable real assets with intrinsic value. Assets represent what the bank owns, not what it is owed as the idea that is money. So what happens is, they let the assets sit in their books as tangible value that they can lend and borrow against. That is part of the business of being a bank. The problem is, banks aren't very good at maintaining the properties because banks aren't in the business of real estate maintenance, they are in the business of making money. So as they use the "asset value" on their books as the liquidable property to lend and borrow against as leverage in their assets, the actual properties deteriorate and lose value over time. The banks know this and plan for depreciation over time, but they can usually make a lot of money off of the interest activity that came from using the asset in their reserve, so they make money just from it existing in their books by lending and borrowing against. That is why they don't try too hard to offload properties until they have to, like when they auction them off due to complaints about neglect, nuisance laws, or costs to maintain or repair exceed the profits they make from interest on loans they've lent out relative to having the assets to lend against. This property being worth 5 million on the books as liquidable assets with intrinsic physical value just means the bank has increased its capacity to do business with money by way of the 5 million dollar boost to their books. That's what is happening.
@@jadesea562 Jadesea you are amazing. Thank you for such a thorough explaination of what's going on with these properties. It makes perfct sense to me now.
@jadesea562 you wouldn’t be in the banking business now would you? 😂😉
Thank you, my mind was just blown. It's been awhile.
Matthew 17:20 Our faith can move mountains. I love your channel, cuz you always start with a Bible verse. Otw 1 million subcriber🙏
What a beautiful mansion’s & property! So sad too see these homes abandoned & left to rot! Awesome video bro! 🙏❤️🤘👍
❤❤❤ I love these videos, so sad how they lost this beauty. Blessings bigbankz
It hurts to see such lovely homes rotting away when we have so many human beings in compromised living situations.
Sometimes I yell at my phone "get inside the house already!!" 😅😅
In the bedroom behind the kitchen, closet door next to tub had stairs in it!!!!! Love the brass fireplace.
Did you guys realize someone mowed the grass not long ago. Someones keeping the grass down.
Hi BigBankz, I've been watching your channel for a while now, and I'm a huge fan!!! This house is gorgeous. It's such a shame for the family. Hate to see this place go to ruin. Many blessings
The thing in the kitchen cupboard is called a lazy Susan, thank you for sharing this explore 👍🏼
The first house would have been my dream home gorgeous
This has got to be the very most beautiful abandoned home ever! Feel sorry for owners who lost it! :(
I hit the bong every time you say "what not"
We count the “and everything”’s too.
Need to start that habit. Thank u for the idea. Puff, puff, pass
😂😂😂
I quit watching after 6 mins he doesn't talk right
If they went back to Romania it would cost a fortune to ship their furniture
You should leave the refrigerator doors open, since there's no electricity, otherwise it'll smell. I hope this helps
Yeh, I cringed when he shut it, lol. Like open that back up 😂
He doesn't know most things. Like with the bottle of water left in the bathroom sink, "half drinking" say what? I quit watching after awhile.
That place is too beautiful to be torn down.😮😮
All of these couches in big circles in these houses gives me the creeps, like some cult or human trafficking stuff has been going on here. Very sus!
I got that cult vibe to
Something likely very stange went on around the property. Why have all those other houses? Romanians? Hmmm we know they weren't gypsies if they had a business
Looks like you could move right in, no decay!
Makes me sick to see such waste. Imagine what even donating that nice furniture could do for some organizations.
and in need families, all that furniture is beautiful. just sitting there going to waste, such a shame!!
I love your work. I continue to be bewildered with why these homes aren't repurposed for other things? The materials, cabinets etc. Mind blowing.
That is an awesome property filled with all of the houses and buildings on the large compound it is now abandoned and
wasting away but it still is a nice looking place just needs to be
cleaned up and this is another awesome place thanks.🇺🇲🏘️🇺🇲
Hello Big Bankz new veiwer to your channel. Love videos like this learning about how the people lived in the property.
This home is beautiful favorite rooms are the kitchen and the master bathroom but love all of it. It’s sad seeing all of the beautiful furniture still there. Thank you for sharing . Have a blessed day
Gosh, id love to restore & renovate this property & homes! Thatd be SUCH a fun & fulfilling project to take on! 🥰😍💯👌😁😎
Thankyou BigBankz! 😊
hmmm, the property has been recently mowed, and those windows in the sun room look very clean and shiny
That corner cabinet is called a lazy Susan
That was a awesome video 👍💯
So much of the furnishings would fit beautifully with the more modern aesthetic of homes today. Fantastic place.
Absolutely beautiful!! Sad to see it just sitting there all lonely, oh, and i would Kill to have that phone!!! i am British and i remember phones like that in all the American television shows that i watched as a child :)) Love it!! Much love to you and yours, stay safe and be happy!
Wow Wow Wow! Awesome, thanks
So much of that furniture is massive and cumbersome. It would have cost an absolute fortune to remove that furniture and ship it elsewhere. If they filed bankruptcy, they probably couldn't afford to take it. Maybe there was no time for a sale if they had orders to vacate. Great video.
Thanks for sharing all very beautiful 😊
I always enjoy these videos you do. You make them so interesting as you explore the property.
❤ 🎉fabulous as always ♥️
Someone could buy this instead of it rotting away
This is an amazing property, thanks for bringing us along on your exploration. Keep up the great work and be safe out there ✌️🇺🇲
Beautiful furnture saddly left behind. Donation would have been cool. So many needy families. Thankyou for braving the heat to showcase these beautiful homes.
What a beautiful property, but how sad all that beautiful furniture is left to rot!!! I loved this place
Incredible how your consistency has created such a intriguing perspective on things the mind often wonders and you wander to these real places in real time and create from it. Thank You! Your work is greatly appreciated!
Great video ❤
awsome upload.. ❤👍🏼👍🏼
Love your videos!!..wow these homes are incredible.
I think refrigerators need to stay open so they don’t mold inside, esp in heat…but it so so sad the property and homes just sit there. Thinking of the families that had to walk away (returned to Romania) not take much if anything. It must of seemed like their life here was just a dream.
Fantastic find here Bankz. Very unique property. Seems a bit cold to me. Love the wood furniture and the kitchens. Awesome. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!
This looks like it was being developed as maybe a retreat space, high end rehab facility, or hotel/B&B. Even large families don't generally have multiple rooms with seating for so many. And they don't usually lable the restrooms.
Or maybe travelling/roaming gypsies stopped by every now and then lol. Weird vibes about this property
He calls it outdated guest house. I call it the house & property of my dreams 😂
WOW Biggs Man !!! Cool !!! I'll have to watch full vid on computer after steaks on the grill tonight !!!! Thanks ,,

Hi BigBankz 🙋🏽. I hope you And your Family had a wonderful 4th of July ‼️ Be Careful and Safe Travels. 👊🏽👍🏽💯.
I’m just stunned at the beautiful furniture and other stuff left behind. It’s so sad. There are so many people in need of a place to live and this beautiful compound just sits. I wonder if they even know the stuff still in these houses. Wow what a shame. I’d be helping myself and giving it to that need it.
Amazing thank you ❤❤
That countertop in the main house is probably Formica. That breakfront cabinet in the living room of the main house probably separates into a two pieces so that it is movable. Great video. Thanks
A spinning thing is called a “lazy Susan”.
I love that style phone. That’s what the phone was when I was young. 😊
If you could turn your camera slowly I probably wouldn't get dizzy
I really hope they dont demolish this beautiful home - it just needs updating...
34:45 beautiful hutch!
Big Bankz, you never fail me! I love your videos and I really appreciate you sharing the back stories of the places you share with us.
With L❤ve & Aloha from Hawaii… 🌺💥😘
Reminds me of the house from Dallas the tv show! So beautiful 😍
The refrigerators were left open so they won't smell. Never close the refrigerators. 😊
He just doesn't know things
My family does have property like that I grew up there and it is SOOO MAGICAL 🥰🥰🥰🥰
What a beautiful place ✨
Terrific job
They really left some nice furniture. It’s so sad to see places like this and things like that go to waste.
I love the small house. It has a homey feel to it. It shows how wasteful people are. I am sure a middle class family would enjoy the luxury. whether outdated or not. To other people it’s a beautiful place.
Great video, your right they could've had an estate sale & had a fortune just off the gorgeous furniture
It's sad to see beautiful places like this abandoned. If this place was in good condition I could picture a wedding here.
Wow this my dream home this style! Wish i could have a place like this for my 2 boys - they could have a house each! - how amazing would that be! ❤❤
Hello BB. What another beautiful home & homes here. I have watched all your videos and love them all. But this one really has know mold forming and the furniture left was in Maculate condition and really the home itself. Just some serious deep cleaning. I have leather furniture and maple and marble coffee tables and they were very Expensive, so what they left was worth so much money. Anyways it’s another sad sorry of leaving all this behind and the bank not having a state sale for all that. Love ya BB be safe and can’t wait for another. Hope life is treating very kind. See ya soon love from Ohio ❤️🇺🇸 Cindy
Very loved home.
I believe that's called a lazy susan. Loved the video - beautiful house.
Absolutely Gorgeous
Big FAN OF BIG BANKZ!! MY HUSBAND AND I LOVE YOU VIDEOS! ITS SAD THESE HOMES GO TO WASTE. "WHAT PROFIT A MAN IF HE GAINS THE WHOLE WORLD BUT LOOSES HIS SOUL" THATS WHAT MAKES ME THINK OF. OUR FAV IS IN FRANCE, AND THE CASTLES! THERE ARE SO MANY TOO IN NORTHERN IRELAND, AND GREAT BRITON! MAYBE YOU CAN MAKE IT THERE! SAFE JOURNEYS!!! GOD BLESS!
Thank you!!!
12:19 so far it’s very nice although I think there’s too many people trying to film this house at the same time.
I’m looking forward to the big mansion! Beautiful Property!
the way that house is set up looks like a Brothel
No guests would have been sleeping in 2 queen beds side by side, that was very weird in that room.
@@MissX905 Yeah it's all kinds of FREAKS
The property and main house kind of reminds me of the house they used for the television show called Dallas.
Beautiful houses. Hate it that they are not doing anything with them.
Big Bankz great scripture so good to see you😊
I don't understand why someone hasn't squatted on that property. The bank would never know. Several people could live well on that land. What a waste.
That is awesome place
I hope someone who bye it keep all the furnitures they still good
Hope you opened the refrigerator before you left .
Incredible these places...it just makes me realize of all the years we spend "accomplishing"...things happen, we all grow old..many times kids don't even want those things. Simply surviving is the key....I've owned homes, things, who really wanted those things? Haste is waste...it's too bad what we wanted, our kids grew in their own tastes
Wow ❤️
That would be my dream house
Love your 8080 shirt ❤
Hello.
Starting to see the video and leaving you my thumb 👍 I like to know of the history of the homes why were they abandoned? Wish city?
He said in tbe beginning. Rich Romanian family, pandemic hit & he went bankrupt & they moved back to their homeland. Bank owns it
It's giving cult house vibes 😅
I thought the same!
I thought the same!
We’ve been looking for a family compound. Wish I had $5,000,000! 😭
I think they left fridge open so it wouldn't mildew. I wish I could buy that property.
Hello watching from Philippines ❤❤
