We do the same.. my husband keeps his money on the card and we pay the bills that way and I stuff my cash for my own things and business expenses ✨ and savings!

This is exactly what we do, too! Although my partner keeps her personal money on her card, I’m going to pull mine out and stuff it because it helps me be more mindful.

I have a quick question. Does that mean that perhaps you have multiple savings account/ checking to deposit the money to the bank? I’ve tried doing this before but I ended up adding everything to my regular checking and got hard to keep track
Yes I have multiple savings accounts for my sinking funds, makes keeping track easier for me ☺️

Hi. Trying to understand the system better. Why a weekly and no biweekly stuffing?
I prefer weekly it works with my budget. It’s up to you and your budget on when you stuff.

Single mother of 2 with no assistance…trying to start budgeting. Where do I even start?
Write down all your monthly bills and your annual/semi annual and debt. Count your income for the month and remove all your monthly bills. Then divide the amount of your annual/semi annual by the amount of months you have to pay it IE: car insurance is every 6 months and it costs 500 I would divide 500 by 5 so it's ready for the 6th month. After you remove that money add you monthly debt and take that out. Then take out what you need for groceries, gas ,health and personal needs. What you have left can be used for savings challenges. Take it slow and watch your spending habits for 1 month. That will help you decide what you need for spending and what you have left to save. Remember, every dollar counts when it comes to saving. If you can go 4 dollars a month or 400 a month... It all adds up 💜💜💜 best of luck. I just started January and used December to track my bills and spending to prepare for my journey.
My credit union never gives me what I ask for. I don't understand why.

Just give it back to them and have them exchange it. For example if they you 5 hundreds and you only need 1 but they shorted you on twenties Give them back 4 hundreds and ask for twenties.
How long have you been saving for your children
Since they were born. I always restart their sinking funds envelopes in the beginning of the year so what is here is what has been saved so far this year. I have their money in a high yield savings acc. ☺️
