I thought I’d make a video showing how I create my frosted cash envelopes!! This is a cash envelope DIY! I make the frosted cash pouches in two sizes, one for my sinking funds and one for my cash envelope key holder. After watching, you can make your own clear cash envelopes for your planner too!

I can't believe how much you inspire me, I've made beautiful flower clear envelopes with your tutorial and I saw these frosted mini ones on your last video and made some of them ( before seeing this) Just so you know, you can use an inkjet printer as well. I've used one for these envelopes I made as mini ones, plus all my binder envelopes I've printed the backgrounds on vellum with an inkjet as well, they all turned out fine.

Loved this video! Your tutorials are always the best! ❤️ Do you by any chance know what the measurements will be in cm?
If you print an outline guide box the size of (or slightly larger) your envelopes when printing the text you can then trim the guide off and they should be perfectly centered each time.
You can also use an iron on a low temperature with a piece of fabric over the top to start melting the laminate and set your stuff in place so when you pick them up to put them in the laminator they don’t slide around

If you have some SCRAP laminate, you can redo the punched part. Just add the scrap to that section and use an iron to get it to seal enough to be able to run back through your machine.

This is such a great tutorial...I love that you take the time to teach us! That being said, I got halfway through watching and was already thinking "those are beautiful, but never gonna happen!" Makes me appreciate those Etsy sellers so much more...I'm just not crafty! Maybe I can convince a crafty friend to make me some, lol! #fivegoldenpens

Can you use card instead or coloured paper? I only have a ink get printer
My trick is to put the text in a text box with the designated dimensions, fill in white, center your text etc but also make a box a little bigger behind the white box and fill with a light grey, so it looks like a white box with a grey border. Once you print all you have to do is cut along the inner grey line and your set. It uses a little more ink but there's no guessing game with cutting. Then you can also just save the file and change out the text.

I love making envelopes, they just don't like me making them. Lol. I try and it's a mess. And it's not the directions because I learned from another video of yours. Your directions are clear and easy to follow. It's me I can't cut a straight line even with a lined cutter. Lol. But that's ok.

What type of paper did you use to put the words on?
I am curious, how were you able to do the envelope style printing in word, did you use the mailings tab and create different envelope sections on one paper or just space the words out
I create all the products using Canva.

How did you get it to print where you can get three envelopes from each sheet, like the placement of the font? hope that makes sense
Each piece of vellum is 3inches tall. The paper is 11 inches tall. Place the first category about 4 inches down from the top. Use the measurements on Canva to assist. Drop down 3 inches place another category. Drop down 3 more inches and place another. When you cut the paper, you’ll cut 1 inch off the top and bottom, and an inch off both sides. You’ll have a 9x6.5 square. Cut into 3 equal parts. I hope that made sense. ♥️

If the sides come apart you can always add a strip of laminate just on the sides and run it through. 😊♥️

you can use inkjet as welll, I have just use a glossy paper or photo paper setting and let the ink dry well.
