- These are my FAVORITE army men of all time! These awesome soldiers were included in the Famous Marx "Battleground" playset from 1963-1980. The review for series 2 will come eventually. Sorry for the extremely delayed upload...
Hope you enjoy! - Zábava
As a child of the 50s, I loved my army men. What I particularly liked was the attention to detail as pointed out by the narrator. I don't know when it happened, but this attention to detail disappeared over the years and for a long while, the makers of these army men didn't even bother to have accuracy as they've equipped WWII soldiers with Vietnam era weapons. Thanks for the post, it brought back many fond memories of indoor rainy-day fun with me and my army men.
These are my favorite army men
Same men
A lot of people have mentioned Marx figurines on their videos, these look really nice!
Ah, brings back memories of my 1970 Battleground kit. Wonderful times.
This is great! You were the inspiration for my channel.
awesome Bud i like that they all have different poses, different to my son Airfix soldiers
Glad to see your'e back
Awesome! I hope your family is staying safe
Thanks! My family and I are doing great
there's something I noticed on the Marx army men it turns out that there are two different molds for the marching guys as one had a webbed helmet and the other did not and one has a canteen and the other doesn't
My dad both carbine and M-1 in Korea 1950-1952
Great video.
Good good!
Oh by the way I'm pretty sure the machine gunner has Browning m1919 30 caliber machine gun I could be wrong though
I have some of these guys its really cool seeing All of them. It's sort of nostalgic.
These are very cool
Nice video
I think 1963 is great!
nice voidies
Where did you got them
Where did you get those from but I know the brand but every time I google it it takes me to the wrong website so can you please help me. I really want these army men
Check out the Hobby Bunker (Malden, MA) or The Toy Soldier Company. Both have sets of recast Marx figures
Had these along with the grey germans tan japanese and blue koreans
Still have my originals from about 1964
Lucky you!
Not M1 carbines but M14 battle rifles.
I got 780 pieces of those poses
That's Crazy!
i just came across a large amount of these that are from different makers and years. im sorting them an eventually parting them out. ya wanna help out with some helpful info?
sure, if I can get some pics of them... maybe make a video on your channel?
@@armiesofplasticstudios143 i'll take some pics before i send them out... i just sold them but i still would like to know more
i prefer marx army soldiers they had more detail and better poses. the 5 or 6 inch ones are the best. i did own a few others in the larger scale in 1975 that included a soldier with bazooka and one with a flamethrower but not sure if it was a marx brand.
owo the first for first time
Discord?

Just wait a year or two, and it'll all be back.
Bmc copied some of these
Not copies, reissues
