🇺🇸 Hell Ya Chili Cheese Frikken Nachos With Velvetta, Corp Sir, You ARE NOT fckin Around. Chili Mac and this is My Favorite meal Hands down. On the Street and in the woods. C.C.A.F. Shit ya that's a 50° Temp increase. Exceptional A.F.🍀
Great video👍🏻
you should compete in the gruntproof survival games next year that would be awesome
Check out Strategy Roasters Coffee, it's owned by veterans. It's time for a bushcraft patriotic flagpole build. Great work, keep it up!
One can only imagine what you could build with a truck load of block. Solo overnight in a multi story condo in the woods, with bacon! Your the goods corporal. Keep up the great work. Thanks for all you do.
Very cool! Man I love a fireplace! I think this could easily pass as a permanent sleep shelter.
👌👍
Hope you're doing well Dave!
@@hoppskippity All is well here brother
I legitimately look forward to Sunday every week because I know that Corporal is dropping his weekly video. I can honestly say one of the largest reasons I enjoy your content so much is because it is always something different. Ive been a pyromaniac my whole life (I’m currently 23) and absolutely love the idea of anything to do with hot tenting/ incorporated fireplace/ furnace into bushcraft shelters. Not only does it have a great practical use of keeping warm, but in my opinion it is just bad ass. So seeing this built and used is just super awesome. And pretty much no other CZcams is doing stuff like this. Even if you were to do the same thing next week I would thoroughly enjoy all 20 minutes of your video (I still think people suck for not watching the vids all the way through in order for you to make them 30 minutes lol) But thank you for taking the time each week to come up and going through with something cool for us to watch. I have always been really interested in bushcrafting, even back when I was in middle school and beginning of high school my buddies and I would go out into his woods with just a tarp, sleeping bag and other little “necessities” and come up with something cool to camp in. Because of your videos I have gotten back into it and do it as often as I can, which unfortunately is not very often due to me living in Kalamazoo Michigan because thats where I went to college and there really is no where to do any of this and the place that I can is like three hours away. But anyway enough of my huge essay lol, Keep up the awesome work I really enjoy it and I’m sure I can speak for others when I say OUTSTANDING AF. Ill be back next Sunday! Cheers!
Definitely feel you on the lackluster of good camping spots in central Michigan, best spots are always further north
Thank you for sharing, that's inspiring.
@@LimitlessExplorations you hit the nail on the head, where I’m able to enjoy bushcraft and things like that is 3 hours north in west branch. And our property in waters Michigan. All north!

Future home of the American middle class keep up the good work thank u
I love this build. It's got to rate right up there with my all time favorite "Solo Overnight Building a Sandbag Shelter In the Woods and Fried Bacon and Cheese Kielbasa" Thanks!
Very cool! Keep marching towards that offgrid cabin in the woods, we're all following you!
There's something different every week, and that's what makes corporals corner stand out from loads of other bushcraft bids. Love this stuff.
Hobo Shed= being a kid again ... that looked like a lot of fun
This was an awesome retrofit, glad to see you work through the bugs in your ideas rather than abandon the idea altogether, can’t wait to see what you do for a more permanent structure.
Very well done! If you had chosen engineering rather than military, you would have done well! Yah, I am an engineer. You would have been an outstanding engineer. It is all in situational awareness as in making the best of what you have. You do that big time. I watch most of your videos and you prove yourself over and over. I am 75 now and need comforts just to live and especially proper. But I did a lot in the woods and even Africa when I was younger. Scuba/pilot/canoe/back pack/homestead/all outdoors stuff. A life well lived and a Big fan of you. Keep it coming! Really looking forward to your cabin build.
Thank you some for the videos brother
I served 28yrs in the British army and I have learnt more advanced overnight skills from your videos in one year. I am happy to say my 16yr old son really enjoys trying out our skills that we learnt from you brother in our monthly overnighters.
Top work brother

Another great video! Most people don’t look at junk and see building material, they just see trash. I like your way of thinking.
You just keep being you Corporal, doesn’t matter if it’s been done before, you put your spin on it and that’s what I enjoy.
Outstanding af 😎❤️
I was just thinking of something like this. I specifically bought Suzuki Enduro to get away from it all, and I have learned enough from your channel that I should be able to hide from my wife for weeks, if necessary. Thank you, Corporal.
😂
Haha I thought I was the only one 😂
I wish my husband was into hiding from me.
After 39 years, that would be the perfect vacation for both of us.
However, he is the homebody and I am the explorer.
My heart is in the woods.
I wish I could hide from him in the woods but he would flip out.
😂 if you like enduro get a KTM 300 that will change your life 💪🏴👍
@@Norfolk440 Yep.
I figure I might as well, since I'm not getting any younger. I have been told that it is far easier to ask forgiveness than to ask for permission.
It’s just another Corporal Sunday, man I hate Monday’s, it means I gotta wait another week to get great information and survival advice. Thanks for always doing you and being honest. Outstanding AF
NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL A SHELTER , THAT INSDE FIRE PLACE NOCKS THE CHILL OFF A COLD NIGHT . VERY GOOD IDEA. THIS IS PERFECT FOR SURVIVAL ,I HOPE IT NEVER COMES TO LIVEING LIKE THIS ,BUT ITS GOOD TO KNOW IF IT HAPPENS .IN MY 20S NOT SO BAD , NOW 66 AND I DON'T WANT TO .TO OLD FOR IT NOW.I GUESS YOU DON'T HAVE ANY CHOICE IF IT HAPPENS .LOL....OUTSTANDING VIDEO ,LOVED IT.
Awesome video. Once again showing what can be done with items left lying around. Looking forward to your future projects.
Just sent one of your old urban get home kit videos to civilian friends in Kiyv, Ukraine. Praying they dont need it...
YES, off grid cabin will be great!👏👏👏👍👍👍
I'd love to see this channel transition into you building an off grid cabin on your property. I like your old current content, but that would be fun to watch too.
Thank You, You have quite the set of skills.
After watching this I won't ever have to worry about being Homeless! I look forward to your next video.
Next time, consider filling up each CMU with dirt/sand which will allow for a huge increase in thermal mass. This way when the fire burns down all the thermal energy is stored in that mass and will hold the temp longer.
Agreed, I was going to suggest this as well.
Watchin on Veteran's Day 2023. Salute and many thanks to you Cpl. Kelly all veterans for what they do and have done for our nation.
Shout out to my 63 year old Dad, Corporal Cookson, formerly of the Coldstream guards who watches everything you make and spent last night in a log shelter at -19 in the Canadian winter. Outstanding!
I love your ability to let go of your plans in order to rethink the situation. Well done!
Holy Corporal, batman!! CZcams actually sent me a puch notification just 2 minutes before I got your email. 🤔 Great video! I love these builds. Keep it up! ❤️
My favorite part of Sunday is ??? ......, Duhhhhh the corporal of course! Thanks corporal Kelly ! Always an awesome video !
I misspent my teen years in the woods. I got good at it. I had an outdoor job. I've had my share of hypothermia and heat stress. Every day was a survival course! I learned the hard way.
Now I'm old and sick so I can only watch and wish.
Keep the videos coming for as long as you can!
With a build like that you're one step away from glamping. Looking forward to you putting all the shelters you have built over time into one Castle 🏰 in the woods. All those elements combined, featuring a fire place , kitchen, living room, master bedroom, guests bunk beds, a look out tower, and last but not least, the outhouse. Corporal' s Corner's Castle in the woods. Voila!
Well done, SK! Another good build. Really like these “build-a-nice-shelter-outa-junk” episodes!
Great shelter Idea. The fireplace is really cool. You are so right that you have to get out in the woods and do these things to really see if they work. Thanks for doing that for us.
That, right there, is a hobo palace! Great video. I’d like to see more video about this subject. It blends well with your other outdoor and bushcraft videos. I think a lot of “survival” ideas have come from hobos and others who may be homeless for a while. Many military veterans have had to struggle for a while and make due with what is at hand or can be found discarded by others. Great video Man!
You're building and learning, using what's available around, at the time. You're also helping us to think of the possibilities, and not to get trapped in conventional thinking.
I think that that is a good thing.
This is Like Habitat For Humanity, Corporal Style. 👌
That fireplace
Is up there
W/ your sandbags shelter
One of my fave fireplace set up !
Well done for not setting fire to your butt with that fire so close. Great idea, keep those experiments coming we love them all. The heat off those blocks should radiate just fine.
as always,,always learning something from the master..learning and teaching out side the box is something you sir should be proud of..thanks for the lesson,,till next week from southern delaware,,semper fi devil dog
That's one of the reasons I love this corner of the tube, your builds are simple with a Corporals touch of innovation and some amenities. They work, are comfy and keep you high, dry and warm. I have seen alot of elaborate bushcraft builds and they never say how long it takes but you and I know probably days or week long builds. You go out and get it done! I dig that. I will say you always make me hungry as a damn hostage with whatever you cook lol.
🎉Lester River Bushcraft.... love that jacket! Another great build professor
Another great video. I hope others will follow and give great comments. You are a wealth of knowledge and always giving great ideas. Stay safe, stay healthy and keep living your dreams.
Love the modification to the shelter.
Not sure if you have time to read all of the comments?? Love what you do. The huntsman did a great job bringing up your credentials.
Just bothers me how it’s a cut throat game. May not mean much but I’ll keep watching your videos to me they are very cool. Thanks for sharing your ideas ✌️
It was cool seeing you use a pourover. I started using one and a coffee press last summer. I like both of them. Like I've told you many times, you keep doing you. You have a very large following. People love and appreciate all your builds and everything you teach us. Don't worry about trolls, they're jealous and thier just trying to get under your skin.
Another cool video Kelly. Loved the 80s montage music. I used to follow a couple of the other bigger channels but noticed they get a little cocky and just want to show what money can buy every week. I've ditched most of them and now follow quite a few of the little guys who should get more viewers because they're entertaining. Where's Jordo Wally, Strange Camping, Offcamping, EastangianBushcraft, to name a few. I stick with you because you keep it real and I actually learn a thing or two every week. Keep up the good work!
You had me at Chili Cheese... anything.
I just found this channel a few days ago and have been binging. Corporal, you deserve a very big thank you from me. My family and I have been very sick this week and you have gotten me through the past few days. Can't wait to get out in the woods soon. You're an inspiration, sir.
Hey Corporal. Love the ingenuity. You should try building the fireplace but dig a trench underneath the floor for the chimney and exit out the far side and it would warm the floor. Great job!
Thank you for all the informational videos that you do. I know it does take a lot of time to do them and do them right .. the quality of your time spent definitely comes out week after week.
Only watched the intro so far, but I love hobo forts especially with a diy woodstove. Man, you are next level-love the videos.
Sunday night. Pizza, rum (no beer) and corporals corner. Outstanding.
That's one hell of a shelter! You should start air bnb'n these types of places!
Love the fire place, sometimes a little smoke filled sleeping area isn't bad especially in the mosquito months. Great video sir, thank you.
I like the cinder block style. Easy to make new adjustments on the fly. Greatvid as always. Take care
Have all the haters Bring it on You have the talent Blow channel up Hit the woods show your skills multi day overnight
Howdy Corporal. Awesome! I am amazed how you keep your thoughts and imagination surging forward with new ideas. Thanks again.
Looks solid and warm. I'll take it. Another great build video. Thank you.
Loved this retrofitted shelter!
I really like the idea of an off grid cabin which will allow you to broaden your horizons.
Well done!
Shawn, you have a lot of good survival shelter idea’s that really work to spend a weekend back out in the great outdoors to really enjoy Life! Love the channel,& you sharing so much with all of us. Be safe, stay healthy, & God Bless everyone!
Looks like something my grandfather could cobble up!
He was a zen master camper.
Those two old people lived outdoors.
Hey Kelly your ideas are awesome and for a singular person to be content at night by themselves in surviving these are ideas that are apps that are absolutely phenomenal. I'm not saying that you've got to change your format brother I am curious though trying to do this with say another person who does not have the it's not have the bushcraft mindset after mindset or a child. I have to think about these things and I would be curious on your input
The Miami vice music is a nice touch 👌
"The Big Lebowski" good one! I really like your post apocalyptic choice of comping videos. Thanks.
well done sir. An excellent example of engineering something useful from what is at hand
Another great build. I learn something new in every video you do. Keep em coming!
Nice improvement on a structure. Excellent work
One thing that affects your views is , you inspire so many to go out to the woods where they have no service, but keep up the good work
We need a Corporal's Cookbook.
Thanks!
Really excited about the big builds. Been thinking to do something similar when I can make the time. Finding a place to do it is a major barrier, glad you have multiple sites planned. Ohio is beautiful country!!
Personally, I like seeing people use what's around them, even if it's standard building material. In other words your video is awesome to me. Honestly, if stuff did hit the fan, I would use whatever I could around me, and just hope I could find some good stuff to build a shelter. People say "it's not Bushcraft" and I've seen just about every Bushcraft shelter there is. Built plenty of them too. I think your block shelter is awesome. I would prefer the bed to be higher, and the roof to be higher too, because I'm getting close to 60 things don't bend over as easy as they used to. I know it's easier to keep small spaces warm, but once I got down and in there, I don't know that I could make it out. 😆
I am 75 and I do relate!😉
@@dougbas3980 75? And you're still at it? That's great. I hope you get another 20 years doing it.
@@cbgmaker9031 I am slowing down. Probably having an active life helps you get to 75 and beyond. All the best to you and yours.👍
You older gentlemen are an inspiration 💪! There's "kids" out there a third of your age who complain about being tired after an 8 hr work day..boo fu@king hoo..lol..
The video's just get better great ideas you talk us through the build to help or explain why you are doing what it is love this channel. Thank for for all of the hard work you do on these builds and making the video's!
With so many Canadians having our Bank accounts frozen, and no way to pay rent or mortgage, we will all be living in hooches like that.
Thanks for showing us how to make one. Oh well, keep smiling and
Carry on Corporal!
Well, then you shouldn't be breaking the laws and being violent, should you? They gave the protestors chances to leave peacefully, but instead the protesters grew violent. They made their choices of their own free will, and now they face the consequences for those choices. They should have thought of those things before decided to double down and be stupid. And yeah I know about the whole "It was protesting the vaccine mandate" thing.
But here's the thing about that, the truckers HAD the right to continue driving semi's without getting vaccinated. The vaccine mandate ONLY applied to those crossing the border between the USA and Canada, that's all. If truckers don't want to get vaccinated, then they simply don't cross the border. No one was forcing them to, no one was jailing them for not being vaccinated, they had the right to CHOOSE whether or not to be vaccinated. And instead they chose to listen to far-right lies and be swayed by violent anti-government from the states and start turning to violence. First they screamed about vaccines and when it was clear no one was listening because the inter-province mandates had already been scheduled to stop in March, they then started screaming about tearing down the government and forcing in the "government THEY wanted". I.e. ultra-far-right dictatorships and not a properly elected government that's elected by Canadian citizenry.
Enough was enough, the Canadian government stepped in, cracked down, and now are arresting the violent ones and forcing the rest to start following the law. They have the right to protest - not to break the law.

This is why I still watch this channel. Excellent show corporal! 👊🏻🤘🏻 Thanks for the great content.
Yet another outstanding AF presentation! 👍 Loved “ find me dead in the woods”. What a way to go 🤣 Look forward to your bigger build projects and the cabin on your place. Keep ‘em comin’ Cpl. 🤝🇦🇺
I understand but I still miss the 30 minute video.

That is rather like the pour over I have for camping, a lightweight collapsible metal frame and the filter. Heavier than carrying the instant. Takes a bit more time to make. More to pack out. It depends on what are your priorities. But if I really want a good coffee that is the way to go.
Every time I see you do my favorite build, you go and do something like this. And totally redeem yourself!
I would love to see you build a off grid cabin. That’s a million view vid right there
I enjoy watching your builds and like what you do in the outdoors. I don't enjoy all the drama being promoted by the huntsman's channel and really think it's doing you a disservice by repeating it. Calling CZcams viewers stupid for watching other channels that he doesn't agree with is pathetic. Even if the other channels are fake AF it doesn't mean the people who enjoy it are stupid for watching. It's entertainment, same things are on regular TV all day. Stick to doing what you do best and stop worrying about what other people do, you will be better off for it.
I love these recycled building material builds. I think of them as post-industrial debris shelters.
Another cool reno-build and the Turd Ferguson finisher was a nice touch. Keep em coming Cpl. Kelly!
Congrats on the new property. Looking forward to seeing what you end up building!
FYI, I went to the Huntsman to get the lowdown on the Robinet issue. Checked out a few of his vids and listened to his "opinions" Left shaking my head about a man so knowledgeable and capable being such a rude, crude, socially unacceptable hater, When I was a Master Gunner in armor, my tank & I were known as SLEDGEHAMMER. So I can do asshole better than most. If assholes had royalty, Huntsman would be the king. Everyone who isn't him, is hardly worth mentioning. Ever been to Korea? Sorta like that. One word for human being (them), a lesser term for everybody else.. I'll stick with the guys I enjoy watching, not somebody who tears everyone down. Very well said, thank you.

This shelter is awesome !! Considering that you built it from stuff you found laying around out there in the woods makes it even better !!!!
One reason I like your channel is that there is NO music. I like hearing the sounds of the shelters being built. Please reconsider adding music.
Then there’s some of us who like the occasional bit, tastefully done? It’s not always there, but he does have a bunch of videos with little touches of music in em... nothing wrong with it IMO...
