      @ Corporals Corner
I can't say as though I've ever watched "Alone", but, a few weeks back there was this thing about some wanted pedo guy whose name was "Jeremy Button".
He ended up creating ( supposedly?) A Strealth shelter out of various bits & Bob's & was living in it for supposedly 3 + years before getting caught.
I'm grateful that whoever the news feed was didn't point to folks like you & others who basically show how to create shelters & try to "blame you" for whatever knowledge you give.
For the "Alone" thing, I hate to say it but it sounds like a honey trap for a show
      Why?
Ok, we have the kookamonga bug & Canada is being really stringent about it including vax passports & the whole 9 yards.
I have no idea if the producers told the "contestants" they actually were in a State park or not, but something tells me no one did prior research of whatever area they could've been left in to "survive", so more potential trouble especially for the things you mentioned like bringing firearms into it & cutting live standing or who knows, dead standing branches to create something's.
Like the "Jeremy Button" thing, I can only hope somebody didn't point out things like you & whoever else does Bushcraft stuff as a source of blame, because if somebody does, it'll potentially make any content you & anyone else who does bushcraft more censored & strict just because.

I'm not sure if you'll see this or not, but I wanted to let you know my fiance and I went to the woods yesterday and spent the day practicing our bush crafting. We watch your videos all the time, all the way through and several times to retain the information. You have inspired us to build shelters, put together a solid bug out bag for each of us, including our son, and get out into the woods and hone our skills. We cooked Ribeye steak and bacon on the fire yesterday and it was so amazing. I just wanted to let you know your videos have impacted our lives in a positive way and have allowed us to get out and enjoy being outdoors. We have always enjoyed being in the woods, but you have helped us find the items we need and have given us ideas on how to build shelters. It takes camping to a whole new level. Once our son gets older (he's six months now) we plan on teaching him what we have learned from you, so THANK YOU for these videos.

I still learn something each time I watch one of your videos. I’ve watched every week since I joined and went back and watch all the videos on your site. You are deliberate in your teaching with application. See one, do one, know one. I appreciate it! If you make it, I will watch. 5 minutes or 2 hours, es machs nicht.

It's refreshing to find someone who loves "messing" around in the woods with a purpose and willingness to teach. One of these days I'm going to binge-watch one of your collections. But I wonder if you've gone back to previous builds and improved on them? Fourteen years is a loooong time, surely one or two old ideas need to be updated. Thanks for all that you do. I really like the variety your channel offers with the different build sites, and materials. It keeps things fun and interesting, as well as informative. Camping and bushcrafting in raw wilderness is a lot of fun, but showing ideas on how to utilize man-made materials laying around could be a massive help in the event of a natural or man made disaster. Sure, no one is going to live in a shelter like that long term, but if a tornado or earthquake hits and your house gets leveled, figuring out how to stay sheltered and keep a fire for heat and cooking for a few days is key. Thanks for the great content!

Corporal, your videos are worth viewing beginning to end. Idk what’s wrong with the 95% that are subbed and don’t finish but they will be amongst those who never get some dirt on their hands and experience under their belt..you are a great teacher for those new & advanced. Keep killing it brotha! I’m going to be sad not to get the whole lesson and only 20minutes but do what you gotta do! I’ll be watching either way stay safe in the bush and godbless

20 mins is a good time. I watch the whole thing, every time. Another delicious meal, and another cool shelter. Good man.

When the proverbial "SHTF" moment occurs and you are praying to sleep one more night, who cares where the material comes from.
Not every survival situation requires a Grizzly Adam's approach, a large percentage of the population just might have benefited more from the construction site salvage build over one of the educational deep woods builds. Each and every video Corporal shares offers something valuable every single time. I can't u derstand why so eone would batch about any of this.

I like to hike, and I have seen all kinds of stuff dumped in the woods. Sad really, but it gives creative types some raw materials!
    Great vid Corporal!
