hello distortions Kathy
Hello, what is the title of the song at 2:00? I would like to know because I like it. 🙂
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR TEACHING ME HOW TO MAKE A LATEX GREMLIN HALLOWEEN PROP MISTER EDMUNDS!
this man is the bob ross of monster making, :D
is the best
He is the one of the 4 knights of the Monster Making
This man should be teaching at Schools. I absolutly love to watch and hear him. His charm and wits.. ..fantastic
This is the FIRST time I am subscribing to a web-site. I must admit that these videos are wonderful.... entertaining as well as instructive in a step-by-step way. At age 66, you are encouraging me (a former accountant) to do something I have wanted to do for the past 30 years.... express my creative side. Thank you.
Well that's awesome!! Thank you!!!
You sir are the first in the world to ever make me face palm, shake my head, eye roll, then laugh my butt off at the crack joke..great tutorial
Ha! Thanks!
Like a morbid Bob Ross. Loved it! Cool little monster.
Ed is the man, the myth, the legend! thanks Ed!
i miss the tv show you guys had
Same
I'm impressed by the timing with the elevator intro of the video!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR TEACHING ME HOW TO MAKE A LATEX GREMLIN HALLOWEEN PROP MISTER EDMUNDS!
It is nice to see pros at work
Hey Everyone! More Monster Labs on the way! What topics, characters, and techniques do you want to see us delve into? Thanks so much for the feedback!
DistortionsUnlimited How about making a skin for a head of a large creature prop. The process of making the skin with a mouth that can be moved so later on you can drop it on a animatronic and have a mechanism moving the mouth
I'd love to see how you make acuators and incorporate them into the sculpts for movement.
what type of clay are you using?
Anything you want to! I love your channel!
Does the clay get hard when creating the plaster mold? Or does it stay soft? And I would love to learn more about painting techniques and what paints you suggest using. I know you've done a video on that, the Alien Zombie but I'd love to see you go deeper into painting the finished product
I remember watching your show around Halloween and it gave me a warm feeling of joy. I love Ed's personality and humor, so glad you're making these types of videos
You are such a fun guy to watch and lots of great info! Thank you very much for sharing your work!
I'd love to see a Monster Lab episode on making foam masters out of mother molds and how to make production molds off of those masters. That's something i've wanted to know how to do for awhile, and it's a topic that you don't see covered very often when it comes to tutorials like this.
It honestly is mischievously adorable.
the gramlin is adorabole
That gremlin is cute.
Can't thank you enough for teaching this! I've been wondering how it's done. You're THE BEST!
I am absolutely going to be doing this soon, and I am going to create my own props!!! Thank you for this awesome video!
You are so welcome!
i found this video by accident.......SO GLAD I did it! This is the very best lesson on how to make a two parts mold, and I will follow it in my "beginner sculptures" step by step! Thank you so much! I will let you know my results.
The first time I subscribed to your channel was back in 2016. Still a fan! Keep em coming
Love ya Ed! You are an inspiration. Starting in your apartment.. you are one of the greats! I hope to meet you one day!
ED IS BACK...... 👍👍👍
Wow that’s a nice gremlin ! 😮 I feel like it will also be nice if it is a yoda baby🥺
i have buy one of those little gremlin a moment ego they are adorable
Seems like it takes a lot of strength in the hands to shape the clay. Love it, he is cute and scary.
Check out our list of what clay we use and supplies in the video description. (Amazon Affiliate Links)
I'm so glad I'm a Greeley native ..I'm so looking forward to Monster Day!! My new favorite holiday!!!
Outstanding.
This would to be cool to fill with foam and add some wires in the limbs👍
Awesome video. I've been wanting to learn a two part mold. You explain every step.very well. Thank you .
Oh, and I'd like to adopt your gremlin . :)
I love you !! Those videos are gold
Such a cute design.
Thank you! 😊
Maestro, you are as cozy as grandpa Walton!
i enjoy the videos and very nice work
Love these videos man! I love how you show techniques for the "common man" so to speak; please keep up the great work!
Hi. What kind of latex do you use? Yours seems "foamier" than the slush mold latex I've used; the softness looks great.
Glad I just stumbled on the channel. I was just thinking how I missed Making Monsters a few days ago. Subscribed.😎
I miss the show! So entertaining on So many levels, thanks for the laughs and knowledge!
Beautiful piece!!!
Thank you very much!

Shared on Facebook, awesome work.

I so enjoyed this video. I do jewelry. so making a two part mold like this is probably not something I will ever do , but it was fun and informative and I was also glad to see that you used the proper safety equipment. Thank you for the fun. Lynne
Nice job mate
This process is so much fun to watch! Good luck Ed with all the Halloween orders.
Thanks Ed!!! I love your work! You are great man! I'm learning a lot with your videos! Here in Brazil we have nothing like this! Beautiful gremlin!

The little Gremlin is the official mascot for the Greeley Monster Day coming in a few weeks. Planning to be there along with Nightmare City Haunted House.
I love this so much. This is what i want to do for my career🙏
Good to see you again!
That was a great tutorial of explanation and details. awesome as always Ed.
Thanks for sharing! Awesome!
Is the latex just regular Halloween store liquid latex or is it a specific latex for making props? All I know is I would definitely like to make some kind of critter with my monster-making skills. Mine are only ceramic monsters for now, I've been wanting to learn how to make this stuff!
No this is casting latex only used for masks and props while liquid latex is used for short term makeup effects
Please show how to make big monsters or full head masks !!
I live for these videos! it's so cute!!!
Awesome Ed!!! sometime can you teach us how to do foam filled props? Thanks!
Yes!
Just a superb video. Thanks so much for sharing x
fantastic Sir
I really liked this video... was a bit long but that's what the arrow keys are for! LOL :)
That was awesome! I enjoy how you teach.
He is like Bob Ross of sculpting : )

Love the video Ed. It was great to see you at the West Coast Haunters Convention the other day. We will talk about those gargoyle wings.

20:52 That sound... love it! ;-)
Excelente!!! Bendiciones!!!
Incredible work, love it !
keep the good work up ;)
Thank you for this! I want to start making my own custom props and this looks like a great start! Would you recommend doing this if I were going to make a foam filled prop head (Not a Mask)? Also, how long after I sculpt the piece should I coat it with the spray paint? Another question I have is, would you recommend having one of those face sculptures to make a sculpt around or just start with a stick in wood and build out. I'm wanting to make a foam filled demented monster head prop. Thanks!
just woooooooow :)
this video was sooo cool but the mini gremlin just does remind me of a baby version of a baby wormtale rathuman hybrid haha.:)
I know its an older video and you might not see the comment. However, you may say you don't do cute very well but this is so stinkin cute.
Hi Kitasia! Well, this one worked out...but normally it's true!
could yall upload the full videos of some builds, i really enjoy watching builds and the process it takes.
p.s. you are awsome and inspiring!
Nice youre an amazing sculptor man. Id love to see your version of chucky haha 😄 that would be so cool.
i love your work a lot !!!
Love it😅
you are awesome sir
Could you use an oil based clay, or wax? Reasons why you dont, or reasons why you might prefer this over those?
this is epic
Thank you!
so awesome whats up ed ;)
I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!
that nose thing you did with your scissors scared me so bad. lol
Love this series. Do you guys do any work with Silicone masks? Maybe some planned tutorials in working with them?
Be cool to see you make the original critters.
