Do you have a link to the R32 mod? I’ve looked for a while, and apart from a GTi reskin I can’t find anything
I remember my first time taking my private car to a racetrack and I 100% agree with Nick about how different it is than using a rental. On one side, you kinda trying to be "consertive" and not completely break it on track in the first corner but on the other side you truly know the bounderies of the car and usually can predict when to gas and when to break. The best way that works for me learning is basically learning in a true racecar with an instructor, get the feel of the car and know when to break, corner and accelerate and then take your own car (which probably preferably slower) and try do the same thing. When you start mastering the skills, with a slower car you can learn more about yourself and how a road-car truly works under pressure.
Towing tip: put the car in the middle of the trailer so the weight is distributed on the axles.

Didn’t know you had an R32! Have you taken it to HPA performance? They just dropped a mk7 vr6 engine swap making 500+hp kinda makes me want to vr6 swap my mk8 R.
Driving with the windows down, especially in the rain, had me twichting real bad.
At a lot of track days, especially "beginner" and "educational" ones, windows down is required so that you can point people past you.
@@MattSmith49306 Okay, I've only been to the Nürburgring and there you just stay left and use your blinkers. But I also have an OCD like obsession with having the windows up at all times. For me the only acceptable scenarios are: toll booths, parking lots and in summer the first couple of minutes of the trip, to get the hot air out.

You dont need to weld or buy a new exhaust, the only thing that broke is a screw clamp that holded these two parts of the exhaust together.
