- Standing at 7-foot-1 with a 7-foot-9 wingspan, Rudy Gobert is a 3x Defensive Player of the Year, tied for third most in NBA history. Love him or hate him, he’s been an elite defender in the NBA for the bigger part of the past decade. He’s had a long road coming from France to reach success in the NBA. But his rise saw a major downfall as he failed to lead the Jazz to a successful Playoff run. Things simply didn’t work out in Salt Lake City and after nine seasons, the Jazz traded him to Minnesota where the Frenchman is rising again.
