Well, I'm driving a 2022 Cascadia and just had this problem today. Coolant is full, temps all normal, nothing else wrong. Then it throws this code, and sometimes I could drive for 30+ miles before it throws again, sometimes only about a half mile. Pulled out the plug, but couldn't find a paperclip to put in the terminal contacts. Truck starts and runs though, just with a check engine light. Hopefully I can get it replaced tonight so I don't have to do a 10 and waste all the time on my clock... Thanks

Change the sensor if it doesn’t get fixed , drain the coolant and put the coolant back in ! Why ? Because the container has a plastic thing that moves up and down the sensor read the plastic thing , the plastic part might be stuck

Does this work for an Engine 0 message? We tried the paper clip on our 2013 Freightliner Cascadia with Cummings Engine - The Stop Engine light is still on. Can someone help?
This is bypassed only if the sensor it's bad. If you jave a harnesses issue. Then make sure you have full coolant and when you get the "shutdowns and the timer" press the SHTD ENG OVR, and keep pressing it until you get to a shop to avoid towing ( not always works tho)
🤔🗣️ I tried the paper clip 📎 and it look 👀 like it damaged the Contact. I would try a Fuse first, because the Contacts are flat and the Paper Clip is round. This Code doesn’t disable my 2020 Freightliner, so no by pass necessary.
Just got tagged for $400 at Loves. Maybe I should have watched this vid first? If my truck had shut down on the road they woulda caught me for much more.

Just fix it asap. Basically you can drive as much as you want.
Mine was worse, the sensor was good, but somewhere on the wire from the sensor to computer was broken. The trick didn't work if the wire has problem.
