your work is much appreciated cap. maybe a video on cold starting a plane to be "battle" ready on take off? i didn't realize why i was having so much trouble IFFing targets until i noticed the IFF button was off. Im new to the f-18 and am still going through all your tutorials though.
Hey Cap, even if you don't care about the bit tests, you should click on "stop" in the bit page to avoid the "adv-bit" warning

You only have to turn the bleed air cap when yoz do warning system BIT, becouse that closes the bleed air valse. If you don't do that, they don't get closed and they stay open.
Ha! I just googled that and was about comment the same thing. I was curious about the bleed air knob and it's function.

I typically don't like movie theaters. But when TOP GUN 2 comes out this november rocking F-18's all be in the seat eating pop corn.
Why is it that every f-18 start up, the throttles are uncaged with keyboard keys? Is there a physical switch for this in the cockpit? (I've attempted to just move the throttle levers)
The reason I ask is that its difficult to use the keyboard while also using a VR headset. Its slightly annoying to have to lift the headset to see what keys I'm pressing on the keyboard.
So did nobody else notice the 20mm burst at 0:25?? Wtf was that all about?!

Hi Cap how do start from cold away from the CAT? every time i attempt to place the FA18 on a carrier in a parking lot it instantly places me on the CAT (and then spawns me in the air), i tried "Take of from Ramp"
Supercarrier? Anyone got a solution for this? I've never heard of this issue.

I noticed how you were turning the knobs: It would be easier to simply hover the mouse cursor and roll the mouse wheel to turn knobs.
