  • You have probably seen me fish with this Ultra Finesse Jig/Worm in the past. I must say... It is very effective! I had about an hour after work to go fishing so I decided to bring one rod and a fanny pack full of jigs/plastics. Thankfully this little 4" Kut Tail Worm on the 1/64oz Mule Jig paid off (again).

You already know I love Ned Rigs! Well, I view this as a modified version of a Ned Rig. Skinny worm instead of stick bait & a lighter jig... It creates a similar action but a different look. I think that can make a difference now that the Ned Rig has really blown up in popularity. I will continue to fish both techniques.

I definitely can agree with you on this one. You be surprised what a sz 13 foot can do. It happened to me but my foot is way way much bigger. It's a sz15 6 EEEEEE wide with very fat wide toe that are equally straight across making my foot very very wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe and It cracked a bass before. I have to admit having a very very extremely wide foot is frustrating.

@@charlesforest5323 cool man that's awesome to hear. Can I say welcome to the wide foot 👣 Club. " LOL " oh okay you almost near flat footed too. I have a buddy that is flat-footed and the problems that he goes through. He has a wide foot too but his foot is not as big and wide as my foot is. I am not flat-footed but when my feet are wet and on concrete my wet Footprints symbol says I'm flat-footed but I'm not. I guess that's just the fat foot symbol footprint. Question man? How wide is your foot if you don't mind me asking? Are you still able to wear shoes and socks. My foot outgrew shoes and socks 33 years ago. I can't even find a shoes that is that wide to fit my foot. & it doesn't help that all of my toes are very very fat and straight across. I wish my toes were at a 45-degree angle that way something would fit on my foot.

Love this rig for sure. I fish it a lot. Out of fire red jigs at the moment but the chartreuse jig and black kut tails work just as good. I've caught crappie, bass and gills on this. Usually when the end gets torn up a little I just take my scissors and cut it off. You throw it off less that way and you get to keep using the worm longer.

Ultra finesse has saved me on my Catfish trips! Nothing like running out of bait fish, quick tying up my ultralight, and catching small fish quickly to keep catfishing. Truely saves the entire trip. I remember just a couple years ago, you had me tie on a ned rig for one of my first attempts, and now it is a go to setup for me!
