  • I review the 40L Arc'teryx Carrier Duffel and compare it to Mammut Cargon 40 Duffel.
Ultimately i chose to keep the Mammut over the Arc'teryx but that was my personal preference as i explain in the video the quality of the Arc'teryx is actually superior IMO.

This Video was shot on my new LG V20 Phone in 1080P60 mode. There was also a 4K mode at 30 fps, but i didn't use it. Coming from iPhone 6S Plus i would say the color on this video on the LG is inferior - colors are inaccurate and blown out, however the sound quality is superior - the mic picks up sound louder and clearer than iPhone. This is not surprising as sound quality is THE selling point of LG V20 - it's basically a phone for audiophiles.

Thanks for the informative review. I have the Osprey Transporter which is better than the Mammut Cargon in my opinion. But I was looking for the Arcteryx because of the lower weight.

I have an Arcteryx Naos 55/70 - it sports the same high-quality technical laminated waterproof material and laminated zippers. It's superb quality, a thing of beauty. Beautiful as it is (its minimalist design and quality materials put many a rucksack to shame), unfortunately, it's a bit of a hassle to pack and unpack: it is top-loaded, and, apart from two relatively small (but asymmetrical, size-wise) low-profile pockets in the back and a couple of pockets in the top compartment, necessitates a use of the long and relatively narrow main compartment. Finding smaller items in the backpack can be quite daunting. Still, for its looks alone (and its 'Arcteryx' badge), I'd rate it as My favourite rucksack.
I also have a The North Face duffel - the Mammut looks like a re-bandged North Face with some modifications (the one-side -adjustable Mammut shoulder straps are better). Overal, a fairly comfy unpadded duffle. I still can't fathom why on Earth a technical gear company would resort to a use of ugly legacy-type velcro instead of low-profile minimalist one that doesn't stick to anything it's not supposed to stick to…
