The Mammut Cargon 60 litre duffel is a robust adventure bag (aka duffle or kit bag).

It holds a lot of gear, has many pockets, a large top access flap and cargo loops.
It can be carried as backpack, a hold-all or using the grab loops.
The tough fabric shell sits on a thick and tough base and the large zips have easy-pull loops.
It comes in a range of colours and volumes of 40, 60, 90, 110 and a massive 140 litres.
I picked it after viewing a range of reviews including its winning of
Gear Buyer’s Editor's Choice Award in 2014 (see their review here: • Mammut Cargon Duffel R... )
It’s proven a good choice for me and I hope it’s a good option for you.

Seeing it loaded up with the sort of items I might actually take with me on a trip was super helpful. It's amazing how many videos there are showing off the bag and its features, but "litres" means nothing until you can actually relate to it. Thanks!
can you rmove the shoulder straps for cheking in at the airports ?
The straps can be removed if required, however you should take note of their set up before you do so. This will aid in refitting them. I found that it was sufficient to simply tighten the straps when required including multiple flights. I hope that helps. I still think this bag is really good for my needs and I continue to use it for local trips.

Hi, can you lock the main zip?
The zip does not have an in-built locking feature and, at best, you might be able to use a small padlock or cable tie to join the two main zip runners together to impede easy access.
I hope this is sufficiently informative.

Thanks for the feedback.
I used this bag on a 35 day trip visiting 10 European locations and found it to be very reliable. It allowed me to carry my partner’s roller suitcase onto trains while I had this bag on my back, and it was flexible enough to fit in small sized boots of hire cars alongside her hard case so nothing was left visible on seats.
I continue to use this 60 litre size as a shared bag for long weekend holidays too, and it takes up very little room in storage cupboards at home.
Enjoy your trips.
