Vietnam is not a terrible place! It's a beautiful country with beautiful people that are some of the friends I have ever met. I live in Vietnam and I've been here almost 5 years and I don't plan on leaving. Don't get me wrong the corruption in this country is a problem along with air pollution in the major cities. But that doesn't define the whole country. @@user-un5ns4ev9s

From what you've just said, Thailand offers way better working conditions. I can't imagine people hassling me like that as you've just described. Great video my brother. People need to hear this message

Very true. These people can be heartless, I had an accident November and I was in serious pain and I was still teaching, they were still complaining that I’m slow when teaching and I don’t teach like how I use to, I was like can’t you see I had an accident?
    These people don’t care.

Kweku , I have been your follower for a while now. Im sure your videos eat most of data😅.
I am a little disturbed about something. Is it possible by luck to get a job sponsor to teach English while on tourist visa ?, do a visa run in other to get work permit processed by the employing company.? I have all necessary qualifications with a fluent English. I am from West Africa.

Why will you go through all that risk when you can stay in your country and look for a school to sponsor you, if you get a school you come if not you don’t waste money

I have a lot of Vietnamese friends and they don't like Muslims. They really dislike what happened to Europe. If you are white try to come and forget about your custom. People here will be your friends id you can share beer and eat pork. There are some Muslims but Vietnamese people will never allow big quantities.

I think that some of your negative experiences are the norm with the corrupt education system of Vietnam but also the fact that you are an African teacher makes it more difficult for you. I have been living in Vietnam for almost 5 years now. I have definitely had some similar negative experiences at some of the centers here but I have learned what to look for and how to be firm and not take no sh%t from the bosses. The salary we make here as foreigners compared to the locals is insane. Also the price of food and housing is so cheap that we can live quite comfortable with teachers salary. Every country you go to has its pros and cons. In my opinion the pros outweigh the cons.

Bro, so in how many countries have you worked actually? Where did you work before coming to Vietnam? Do you know what it means by “work legally” in a country?
The thing you said is very basic and ofc is what you are supposed to do when you take a job like signing contract with transparent terms, Job Des. (JD), and follow your JD etc.
There are good and bad people everywhere, also it depends on your point of view too. Assume that you’ve met bad people in Vietnam, but if you’ve met only bad people (like 10 bad employers..) then it’s time to ask other questions like Why did it come to you? So all the other people are bad like that? Why can you only be at the bad employers? And so on.
Maybe you experience more other environments and try the exact same things you did in VN, and see whether you would have different results or not. Also, many employers would also treat unqualified employees worse than others good ones just to kick them away, and trust me, this thing may happen as part of corporate life almost all over the world.
Anyway, good luck for your future :).
