- We wheel and deal with some trading to get our hands on a 78 and 79 Honda Express Mopeds! Need some love need parked for many years covered in dirt and oil. Can we get this 2 stroke 50cc engine to come alive and run for us once again! More to come with a mild restoration project with these Honda's!
We are changing things up here at WOT Garage. We are going to take things to the next level. We are buying cars and going to make to give it a go now with life and house situated a bit better and a garage coming together! We have been buying cars and getting a fun line up Id never thought Id own and be sitting in my own garage.

I would keep that yellow one if I were you. The Express 2's (the blue one you have) aren't worth as much and aren't as sought after as the normal Express's. Also, I would take the MLM muffler from the blue one and put it on the yellow one while also trying to retain that white muffler cover!

Bruh be easy on that wind up spring because once its broke its broke. No replacing it. Youll have to get an entire new left side of the crankcase to make it start again.
Also judging by the newer MLM pipe someone bought it has probably run within the last 5-8 or so years. Looks nearly brand new though.
The kid i got them from bought it wasn't even bolted up lol he never got it going. Question will the exhaust effect the performance? The yellow bike is going and its runs way better.
@@WideOpenThrottleGarage it should, it's better than stock flow. Toss the pipe from the yellow one on and see if it makes a difference. Check your points gap make sure it's correct. Take some electronic contact cleaner and spray it into the flywheel area get it nice and cleaned up. If the points aren't right it'll make it run like shit.

Clean out that muffler. It will give you problems.if ya don't its gonna get plugged from running to rich..
Good to know possible forsure! I think I have the oil fill in tank is broken so it was a lot of oil to gas ratio 😅

Probably if its 2 stroke and you clean the carb
@@WideOpenThrottleGarage Yeah same with the Honda, 2 strokes with compression will run after a millennia of downtime.
