Rare 1970's Concord XKE 50cc Moped Revived After Sitting for Years!! Will It Run?

- I bought this 1970's Concord XKE moped for $200 on Facebook marketplace! I was told that it had not been running for a long time and the previous owner cleaned the carburetor but was unable to ever get it to run. This classic rare V1 moped is very well built and I believe was made in Italy. In this video we go through the bike, check the carburetor, coil, points, throttle linkage as we try to revive this cool vintage moped!
Chains stretch...sometimes they have to be replaced...glad to see your chain is a keeper...and the moped too

That's actually a really nice one. Probably worth at least $700-$800 these days. BTW, you should NEVER sit or stand on a moped when it is on the stand. It will bend both the stand and the bracket that is welded to the frame that the stand is bolted to. Pliers are not a not substitute for a proper wrench. The engine also has, or should have transmission oil in it. I would check/change that before riding it. If there is no oil in it, it will destroy the transmission. Engine sounds good. Unless it is restricted somehow, it should hit 29-30 mph top speed.

Congratulations on your 200 dollar moped. FYI if it has pedals then it's a moped if it doesn't then it's a scooter. I'm working on a 1978 Vespa Grande moped but i am looking for some parts, any ideas
I have an original owners manual for it; had one in the early 1980's
minarelli engine v1, eternal, top speed is 30-32 mph with that Dell´Orto 12/10 carb. In Argentina late models came with a 14/12 Dell´Orto and different transfers, it improved speed to 35-40 mph
