    Total game changer if you haven't had a power meter

      I never had a power meter on my bike so it’s definite a huge game changer! I only got into cycling a year ago and training with a power meter last September 2020 when I got the Kickr Core. Been out for 2 rides so far with the pedals and it’s been real interesting comparing outdoors vs indoors so far! So far it feels so much easier maintaining higher average watts during efforts outdoors and happy to have already hit a higher max wattage! Not gonna lie, was really aiming to hit 1000w+ outside as I’ve never have indoors and absolutely smashed it yesterday on a Strava segment with 1300w 💪🏽

    Awesome man! You're going to be transforming your outdoor rides with these. I didn't realize you just got the single-sided power pedal. Do you see an upgrade to dual-sided down the road anytime soon? Also discount aside it seems like the Favero DUOs are the same price as the RK100. Any reason why you chose Garmin over Favero? I ultimately went hub-based a couple of years ago since I needed a better wheelset and price-wise fit, but otherwise would have been looking at the DUOs rather than the Vector 2s at the time.

      I though about single and dual when I got these and I determined that I probably wasn’t going to miss that dual sided data too much as I’m really just after power. Again the door is open to upgrade which ultimately lead to getting single sided for now. I honestly was all over the Favero’s and was going that direction over the Vector 3s (even with discount) but then Garmin came out with the Rally series and it looked like they fixed all the old issues and of course... the discount was the final nail in the coffin. I was actually also going to wait for those Wahoo Speedplay too but impatient, no deal and would have to complete change cleat systems.

      They pair perfectly with my bolt and now bolt V2. Still holding up strong after being used nearly everyday for over a year!

    Hi from Holland, I ride just like you a lot on Zwift. And I notice a almost 10% difference in watts. The pedals give higher watts… do you experience the same difference?

    • @DontGetDroppedCycling
      @DontGetDroppedCycling  Před 2 lety +1

      From what I have read power pedals will usually read higher than the trainer due to where the power is being measured at. One is at the crank the other is at the cassette

      Lol sweet as, got some on the way. Do you need to calibrate them before each ride?

    • @DontGetDroppedCycling
      @DontGetDroppedCycling  Před 2 lety +1

      Nah, not every ride. I calibrated when I first got them then every once in a while. Maybe like once a week or so and I pretty much use them daily when it’s outdoor season.

    Does this pick up Cadence as well? How do i add or display the cadence on th wahoo

    • @DontGetDroppedCycling
      @DontGetDroppedCycling  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes it does cadence as well. Just add a cadence field like any other and it should be there as long as the pedals are paired!
