  • Fueling up at a cheaper and closer gas station may actually cause more harm than good, to your car that is. Sure saving money can be good, especially over a long period of time. But what if I told you that instead of saving money, you're actually digging a grave for your car's engine. The quality of fuel you pump into your car should not be overlooked as it plays a vital role in your engines's long term health. You see Until recently I was like everyone else, I pumped gasoline everywhere and anywhere. As long as it was cheap and convenient, I was sold. I'm pretty confident that after watching this video, just like me, you'll start to think more about the fuel you decide to pump.
Huge thanks to Shell for flying me out to Houston, TX to help me better understand the benefits of using high quality premium fuel such as Shell V Power Nitro+

I live in CA, and last week I paid $3.85/gallon from my local Shell station. I chose 91 which is the most expensive, I think is the nitro one. It’s the only gas I can put in my “SAV,” 😂 (SUV)... thank Bmw for “only premium gas.” I buy shell because is conveniently on my way home 😂, but this video made me feel a bit better of the opportunity to use Shell gasoline.

I had a 2018 Toyota Corolla. I always used shell premium gas and when they looked into my engine. After doing well over a 170,000 miles, they said my engine was nice and Clean as if it was brand new. And The owners (Because I Went to multiple places.) always say that they get cars in. And the pistons and valves are so bad and dirty. To the point they have to keep putting in cleaner solution just to try and keep the engine A little bit good! Regular gas does more damage in the long run than premium

Doesn’t matter what brand of the gas station is run down and junky the gas isn’t clean . Tanks may be old and the gas pump nozzle it’s self the part that goes in ur car is all dirty what’s the point ? That junk gets into ur gas tank and it’s physical matter so it’s there forever

Fuel is in vapor form before its ignited a vapor is not gonna lub anything i call BS. This gas is nothing more then a slightly higher add pack with more octane. If your car dont need higher octain your wasting your money.

I recently bought regular unleaded fuel for my 2 stroke and now 2 stroke runs like shit. I put the correct amount of 2 stroke oil and now my engine can't even hold an idle worth a dog shit. Fuck, I'm tired of bullshit gasoline

I have never seen a functioning car with port injection that has a build up of anything on its valves. I‘d save the money for more expensive gas and give my car an oil change more often. I think it benefits more from that.

Great video for an infomercial. Honestly without independent lab testing and having shell you how great their product is, you are basically just advertising their snake oil. The lifters, bearings and cylinder wall examples were all smoke and mirrors. That rep was no scientist either, as she was struggling to find words to describe basic mechanical functions at times.

Still proves nothing. You have to take their word for it. Every gas company claims their gas is superior. I could find a filthy valve and one from a new car tell you my product worked

I just watched CZcams video a day ago that the added octane only helps cars that say they needed it, otherwise your wasting your money. They did all kinds of test the results were don't waste your money on high octane gass🤓. Just sayin, the average joe shmo car just needs regular gas as long as it true regular no water added etc.
