He's strong and he did all his stunts. He's good at martial arts
His durability is insane. One of the machine bems swung him onto a mountain real fkin hard and he didn't even get any damage lol.

Because of the popularity of the Leopardon, Battle Fever J featured the first Super Sentai robot, named Battle Fever Robo. And the trend continued

One episode involed him saving a orphan boy. It was to imply he would had raised the boy as his own but there’s laws and his mission as Spider-Man would endanger the boy. By today’s standards the dialogue is easily to mess with out of context.

There’s a good reason that Japanese Spider-Man is basically Power Rangers. The success of this series led Toei to develop a Captain America series, which gradually evolved during development into Battle Fever J, the very first proper series of Super Sentai, the show that would be eventually adapted into Power Rangers. Basically, Japanese Spider-Man is Power Rangers’ weird uncle.

Oh my God this could be the Honest Trailer I've laughed the most at yet. I had a general idea of this show but I did NOT know how absolutely bonkers it was until now, this is pure gold! 60's Batman wishes it was this campy, oh my goodness!
That show actually looks quite cool, the story and themes are interesting and it looks campy on a good way. I smiled checking the footage.
Takuya seems to dig into the character, pimp slaps are spot on and the emissary of hell catchphrase is badass.

I found that show online about 10 years ago when my brother's daughter-in-law (from Okinawa) brought her two year old daughter to visit. The little girl didn't speak a word of English but after a search I found this particular show which she could understand (mostly). I still remember her looking up to me and repeating "Spiderman" every five minutes or so. She really loved that show and I felt good about finding some sort of entertainment for her. I guess you could say that I was a man who befriended a young girl. :)

This show introduces the world to the concept of Henshin (instant transformation, much better than nanotech trust me), and also inspired Sentais/Power Rangers to have big Robots, Kamen Riders to have vehicles and based on insects fighting a crime organization, and also was the reason Transformer and Big Hero 6 were created. A true Legend.

actually, Kamen Rider started the concept of henshin. Supaidaman came out in 1978 while Kamen Rider came out in 1971 and KR is already really big during Supaidaman's run.

I just love how Marvel Studios has canonized the Multiverse for their live-action adaptations (and in the comic, Japanese Spider-Man actually has returned). That means that THIS show DID happen in their grand scheme of things and wasn't just some fun take by the Japanese. Leopardon is still out there in the Multiverse, lmao.
