- Ling Chi returns with another demonstration and lesson based on Ning Yeh's 108 Flowers Book 3. This time she turns her brush to the Blue Iris. This beautiful blue flower shows off the nice color hue and transparency that Ling Chi is getting from our new Bright Light Watercolors which we are offering as a budget option to the East/West color system used in the book.

Just earned a subscriber. I've adored Chinese brush painting for over 20 years. There was a great chinese art supply store here in Vancouver Chinatown. You could get moon palace 50 feet roll for 10 bucks. I miss those days.
I loved learning how to wet mount. I started watercolour classes and one class the regular teacher was absent and a Chinese painter was the substitute. That was over 30 years ago when I fell in love with Chinese painting.

@@OASart I forgot your mention my study was at the Cohassett in Massachusetts which was 4 hr drive each day for me ( 2 hrs each way) but it was so much worth it to me for all the days that they were teaching including the official Tea Ceremony to get my Title “ Happy Brush” with my chop stamp which says that! 🤣💝
