Lovely, thanks for sharing. Where my son and I wild camp in England we have had no rivers or streams...have to take our own water. Looks a beautiful spot wherever it is. We have recently used hammocks, prefer to tents. Great cooker too. Enjoy!
Awesome video Amber...this is a bit of me. Took the Frontline xl out last night. Hard to believe that the weather is so different here in Kent. Still not hot there and melting here in Kent. Got chilly at 3-4am and threw the Snugpak xl quilt over me....kicked it back off around 10am lol. I was at the farm, so the different bugs were out in force...glad the Frontline xl was so spacious and still had a bit of air flowing through. ATB Steve

They are so fast! It was much better to see in person. I must have recorded about 15 minutes of footage just to catch a couple of seconds of them

No I actually like to listen to white noise when I sleep usually so running water is perfect!

You have it good there...here I have yo stealth camp. Did a night in the DD frontline xl and despite putting up the hammock in the pitch black at gonevmidnight, still heard drunk people walking through the wooded area right near me and glad I struck camp before the joggers saw me. I enjoyed the night next to one of the village ponds, but you sleeping next to flowing water like that must have been amazing and the bats looked spectacular. Great video

😃 hi Amber.. Great video and location once again 👍 Whilst out myself wildcamping this weekend in the peak district. I thought to myself, nicer weather, time to dee clutter and carry less.. your thoughts on using a tarp over your hammock, mine is, during the warmer months and on still nights wouldn't the tarp create a mini climate and even trap expelled carbon dioxide you exhail out which attracts the little biters??.. so long as no downpour was due/forecast No tarp would be better I think ? Connect more with your surroundings, keep cooler and stargaze 👍😁 I almost bivvy camped on top of Kinder scout Sunday night.. I was so tempted.. but slept in my ddhammocks superlight tarp tent instead.. But like you, a bivvy camp is on the cards 😁 and a bugnet for my head 🤣😁
Yes exactly my thoughts too, which is why I didn’t end up putting the tarp up. Only bringing it with me now as a rain shelter just in case 👌🏻 also I like to be able to see out and feel the breeze on my face when I’m all snug 😂👍🏻
