Such unbelievably pretty scenery. Literally, I find it difficult to believe that such places really exist and are just laying around out there. The Australian bush I'm accustomed to has a very different character.

Thanks for a masterful piece of CZcams therapy. Your filming, location and conversation are the best I've come across. I was walking near Beddgelert last we and often try to guess if I'm in similar spots. Because you haven't posted for a while, life must be difficult, hope time will heal and 2024 will see you back enjoying Eryri camps.

Amber, take lavender bags with you and hang them around your camp, midges hate it, also use lemon balm salve, skin cream they hate that too. Both cheap on Amazon.

I imagine not having to cook dinner is nice, less to carry and not having to think about all of that means you can just relax allot quicker! so pleased you got to see the horses across the lake whilst making breakfast how lovely, what book are you reading? keep it up.

Very relaxing vid. I'm not one for spraying repellent on my skin for midges but if they are unbearable you can spray some on the cuffs of your jacket, around the bottoms of your trousers, on the tops of your shoulders or around the brim of a hat. This works a treat on preventing them from landing they tend to just hover next to your skin.

Another great camp Amber. Just a suggestion for you, try tea lights infused with Citronella with your UCO which give a little protection from midges etc. 👍

Great vid! I also picked up the tea light UCO for summer, mostly because you dont have to pay for the UCO candles. i chuck in a few citronella and normal candles as a just in case.

In India it's always 40-50 in the summer but as far as I know uk had always a pleasant and cold weather was very much shocked to see such humid and hot weather there.
