In Korea, where I live, you can't use fire in the mountains. When I see Amber's videos, I always envy the wonderful scenery and being able to use fire in the mountains or forests. I always enjoy watching great videos. thank you
2 years ago on Friday, my family met me in London from California. They're originally from Arizona. The heat was almost 100f and it was relentless....no escaping the heat and sun and they didn't like it. This year lots of rain and lower temperatures. I have learned to take my tarp as naturally as taking the hammock or breathing. In the sun, it shields you from the harmful rays and if it rains, it keeps you dry. In the cold, I think it makes a difference when dropped low down to trap a bit of body heat. What a lovely part of the UK to be around to hammock in. I'm 2 doors away from London, in Kent, but it's the largest Borough in London....always having to stealth it each time I go out. But always worth it once I've found a spot to hang the hammock and tarp. Can't beat grounding yourself in nature, the best medicine without a doubt. Subscribed and hope to see plenty more hammock camps. Best wishes, keep up the awesome vids
What a lovely camp. I'm all for advocating MH and the outdoors really does help. As Ray Mears would say "tarp first!". ☺️
Hello Amber, from NZ, Such a peaceful scene that you have created. Here in NZ we have vast mountain ranges and Forests I Get into the bush and ranges as much as possible. For it is there that one feels at rest and at peace with the world and tramping (hiking) the hills takes away the stress of city living. I always return feeling restored. Thank you for such a lovely video. Cheers from NZ
Thank you, as always, Amber. I liked the idea of fresh vegetables. I was half expecting a pre-breakfast swim; until the rain came then.
Another beautiful video! You've really made me want to rush back outdoors (gotta heal fully first though 😭)........I completely agree with nature's capacity for helping with mental health as well as physical health. Respect to you for promoting that 💚
You're a true therapy Amber You're so amazing and your content deserves a million views just forget time whenever I see your videos keep up the epic work and best of luck with your channel 😊
I think you are one of the most therapeutic youtubers I watch!! Your videos always make me feel soothed but also excited about getting outside and spending much needed time in nature (:
Can’t beat sitting by the lake listening to the rain, years ago i used to go carp fishing for two or three days at a time, sitting on my chair under my huge brolly listening to the rain, watching this reminded me of those times. Anyway you must lead such a hectic work life being a nurse i can see why you enjoy the solitude so much. Nice video👍
A huge brolly is something I needed 😂
Listening the rain drops is so addicting in a nice way I could listen to that all day , although most of your videos you don't talk but even when you do you have such a relaxing voice , from the bottom of my heart I wish you well and one million subscribers is just around the corner 🙂
Nice ,very beautiful and peaceful day 😊🤗
Love these videos. I’ve always wanted to do this, but never had the gear, or the knowledge (or the courage!) Maybe I will one day….Thanks Amber you are great.
you can my friend, i started
I really have to thank you. I'm going through a difficult breakup but your videos give me some of the peace I need nowadays. I'd really love to go camping alone but here in Mexico is a bit dangerous, so massive thank you for your videos and making me feel better.
😭😭😭😭
I hope you’re coping ok Daniela. Things will get better even though they feel awful right now.
That means a lot to me, thank you.
I really enjoy your content Amber..
Snowdonia is also my favourite national park!
Subscribed ☺️
Amber!!! I am a hammocker also. (Though I like to trade off back-and-forth with my tent). I find I can get such a great night's sleep in a hammock. I JUST returned yesterday from 3 days in the Sawtooth Mountains (Idaho, USA). At 8000 feet there is still about 4-6 feet deep of snow and I was sooooo happy to have my hammock so I could sleep above it all! :) Many Blessings to you in your adventures.
This is amazing work. But what people may not realize is the extremely hard work of filming it all. Camera setup. Filming a movie. Then you go back to pick up your camera and clean myself up again. And then edit it all together. I myself have recently started making videos about bushcraft, so I really understand how hard it is. A beautifully made video shows that you really love what you do. Greetings from Belarus! ✌️
Thank you. Yes exactly, It is hard work as you well know, but I really enjoy the whole process from planning to filming to editing. It’s a creative outlet for me.
Such a nice video and the visuals are incredible. This is really outstanding footage, my dear.💖
Lovely nature! I would also like to sleep in a Hammock! Learning from your recordings! Thank you so very much for sharing! Greetings from Sweden!
I love it when you're hammock camping Hey don't forget your tarp the next time lol
Incredible atmosphere! I loved the sound of rain and drops on the lake.
What is it like to sleep a whole night in a hammock?
Beautiful music, really completing video. Well done (+ thumbnail work is excellent)
It was cool how you face the rain, many left complaining, you just contemplated, thanks for the inspiration! Here from Brazil...
Hello from Ukraine, thanks for the video and interesting story, I very like nature of Wales. I hope that I will see these mountain and forest myself someday.
I initially thought why has Amber got a giant squirrel proof bird feeder strapped to her pack??? 🤣 Great video and that new Amber logo is excellent 👍
😂😂 it actually does look like that doesn’t it! Thanks Rob 😁
@@AmberinEryri I think if it works then go for it. Will look out for that bird feeder on the hills though 😊 Firebox for me though Amber 👍
Lovely location for a camp. V peaceful. ATB Amber.

👍👍👍
Great video. I live in North Wales and you showcased it brilliantly. You were lucky to catch some liquid sunshine 😃👍
Your video popped up on my recommended , so glad it did , it was a pleasure to watch and such a stunning location, subbed.
Thanks ☺️
Beautiful scenery and very good video presentation. I like your video content my friend, thank you for sharing your wonderful camping adventure 😍👍
Hi from sunny Malaysia. Lovely camp by the lake in one of the prettiest parts of the UK. Many happy memories of trips to Wales for caving or camping in times gone by before moving out here from the UK 17 years ago. A shame you forgot your tarp; I was wondering why you didn't put it up when you set up your hammock. Even out here it's a must in the backpack, - along with the mosquito coils! - although I have also forgotten mine on occasions. Certainly an experience sitting in the wild drinking a freshly made cuppa and it starts peeing down with rain, although I did have my poncho on that particular occasion. Like the stove you used although it does look a bit of a beast to carry. Love the videos and the areas you visit; so relaxing to watch. Keep up the good work and enjoy your trips out. Stay safe. ATVB
That's life 🤩💯
I love watching your videos 😊 Greetings from Norway
Thanks for watching 😄
Your fire/stove will be ideal when you are van camping Amber, maybe a bit bulky to carry with your rucksack when camping, pity about the rain in the morning.
Yes exactly why I bought it, but this spot I went to isn’t a long walk so thought I’d give it a go!
Another great and calming video, superb job! But can you please tell us what hammock you use? I have watched nearly all of your hammocking videos, but it is not on your gear list. Anyway, you do a fantastic job, this video makes me even more impatient to see this Friday end so that I can rush tomorrow morning to our Fruška gora mnt with my 6 years old boy for a weekend hike in the woods. Priceless ❤. And, these days we all need a dose of mental healing. I can't imagine a better cure than the soothing sound of wind or soft rain, or a bird song. No more birds singing in a city. Beautiful video, well done
beautiful 😄
Hi Amber, long time no see. The trees is really green. I love it. The sound is naturally. Actually I Enjoy your video. And cheers..
Absolutely beautiful 🏵️🏵️🤗
Que hermoso 😍😍
Nice camping brother
Wow… novel video❤️👍
Excellent video, I was at that spot a few weeks ago and hung my hammock in the same spot. Thanks for the video ✌️
It’s a great spot. Did you notice how much rubbish was there? I tried to collect as much as I could in a little dog poo bag, but will have to go back there at some point as there was a load of empty beer cans in bushes.
@@AmberinEryri almost everytime I have been there I have taken rubbish away. I don't understand why people leave it in such a state. Last time people left plastic bottles which I took home, I've also seen people go there with crates and crates of beer, they also cut down a sapling tree and trued to burn green wood which I threw into the bushes and tidied uo the fire pit area.
It’s awful isn’t it. That fire pit gets bigger and bigger each time I go, a massive 2 meter branch that they’d tried to burn was just left on it. I’m hoping to go diving for the rubbish I could see in the lake last time - disposable bbq’s and beer cans!
Nice and easy... Szalomik.
Lush ❤
I was at a campsite in Capel Curig last weekend and we were bitten to smithereens (love that word) by what we thought were midges/gnats! I never knew they were a thing in Wales!
carry a onewind poncho fits in ya pocket n can cover a hmk in a squeeze lol
Hey!
Mantap saya suka pemandanganya
Very good, successful. Her zaman kamp yapın :)

As we advance into summer.. please remember that ignoring certain rules and regulations can land you in serious trouble. 😗Just as in the streets, when camping the act of littering is illegal. Campers found to have dropped litter can be fined or face prosecution in court.
Authorised officers have the power to issue a fixed penalty charge of up to £80 for a litter offence, as an alternative to prosecution. If the offender is prosecuted and convicted in court, the fine could rise to £2,500. 👀Similarly, if you have decided to bring your dog along for the trip, their poo should be picked up and disposed of properly in a waste bin. Anyone who fails to clear up after their dog can be issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice of up to £100. If the case goes to court this could cost the owner or person in charge of the animal up to £1,000. 👀Wild camping 🤔In Wales and England, almost all land is owned by someone and there is no law providing people access to someone else's land, which makes wild camping generally illegal. The best option is therefore camp at one of the thousands of campsites that exist across England and Wales. 👀In England and Wales, wild camping is illegal, with the exception of some parts of Dartmoor. You only have the right to camp on land belonging to someone else if you have the permission of the landowner; the same applies for /to vehicles Campervans/motorhomes too. 👀If caught wild camping without permission, you will be found guilty of trespassing, however, as this is a civil offence you cannot be arrested for, you will likely be asked to move on. 😗If you do not leave immediately when asked to do so by the landowner, somebody acting on their behalf or a police officer - 😗or if you return to the same spot within three months of being asked to leave -👀 you may be found guilty of committing the criminal offence of aggravated trespass, a crime that hold a maximum penalty of three months imprisonment, or a fine of £2,500, or both.🤔 First time offenders would likely get a fine of between £200-£300. Damage to fences, leaving gates open, letting dogs off the leash in amongst ie cattle, sheep et is seldom tolerated by land owners / national park areas et Action taken against those who flout those rules or do this can land the person or persons in court for trespass and or on charges related to the various offences. IF you let your dog loose in amongst cattle / livestock a farmer et can not only shoot the animal concerned but also sue if the dog injures or kills livestock. 😗IF you park your vehicle on land that clearly shows you must NOT park there and you choose to ignore that order you can face having your vehicle removed at YOUR expense. The land owners will NOT be responsible for any damage to your vehicle et 😗
love, is live Ecuador.
Totally agree with the statement on nature and mental well being. Everybody in the industrialized world is experiencing some kind of spiritual crisis because they have no connection to the universe and the natural world
😎👍
nice
where is the lake from the intro? it looks beautiful

Amber, thank you for these calming videos. You've made yourself appear part of nature rather than apart from it, which is how I view things. Being with nature, walking, hiking and camping has been my main therapy for the past 4 years or so. Four years ago I had serious mental health issues due to a personal situation, which included suicidal thoughts, thankfully now part of the past. I went back to my true self and began regularly walk and hike - it is better for the soul than practically anything I can think of.
Incidentally, after recently (early Juune) completing hiking the almost 900km Scottish National Trail (in a few stages over 2 years), outside the main video on my tiny channel, I also created 4 "The Sound of Silence" videos (like this one czcams.com/video/pmY9f0007XI/video.html) - basically some of my footage without any talking and any other sounds than just those of nature - much like many of yours on here. Yours are more professional, but the same idea. I know exactly where you're coming from, if that's an okay thing to say.
