Just a nice asmr in relaxing surroundings with the sounds of the countryside in the background. Really enjoyed this one Amber. Just did a similar style wild camp in a forest last week. The a-frame tarp setup works really well for being connected to the calming surroundings (if not too buggy!). Do you rate the OneTigris hammock and under-quilt? I’m thinking of investing in something similar. Thanks - Ben
I enjoy this kind of video once in awhile , looked so peaceful and relaxing . Silly question Amber but does your Osprey Rook 50 feel heavy with all the equipment in it ?? say for a days hiking to get to another camp pitch .
It does feel heavy if I carrying all this kit and not my usual ‘lightweight mountain camping’ kit, but because the shoulder and waist straps are very padded, it’s comfortable.
Your videos are so calming and inspires me. But I wonder: aren't you afraid alone in the woods? Are there wild animals? Loves from Romania.

I know but Cadi hates fires, so can’t bring her when I have one or she will hide behind a tree for the whole night shivering. Bless her. Just trying different styles of videos out, I like watching ASMR type nature videos without all the talking, so thought I’d try it 😊

Fantastic ASMR video - much better than a lot of the stuff out there. Be great if you did more and an hour long one would be fantastic. Did it feel weird for you not talking to the camera?
Actually it felt way more normal than talking, I hate small talk so will only speak if it’s needed anyways. But really enjoy making this type of video with the sounds. I’m upgrading my audio recording equipment soon so I will hopefully be doing more immersive sounding ASMR nature/camping videos in the future!

Had no idea what ASMR was until a day ago. I my own personal experience it’s something quite rare and not very repeatable. I’ve had it only a handful of times and the cause was very specific - a workmate eating a packet of crisps! It was the crinkling of the bag, I got this strange soporific sensation starting at the top of the head and working down past the shoulders. Just for a few minutes I ended up in a trance like state. The thing is, it would only very rarely repeat, even when conditions were very similar. Not sure what caused it or why it’s so difficult to repeat the experience. Is this what makes ASMR different to being simply ‘relaxed’?
It is best to use Bushcraft gloves when working with fire
