Delightful, as always. Thank you. I'm paranoid about fire for lighting a stove. Only three years ago a built in Peizzo I had come to trust let me down. Now I always have a lighter, storm matches and a bushcraft type fire steel with me! Over 50 years ago bivvied on summit of Tryfan in winter, we had a stove, matches etc, a tin of pineapple chunks and a tin of rice pudding for breakfast....no tin opener! Messy opening tins with an ice axe, but we staved off the hunger till down at the brew shack.
Nice shot of the bog cotton there. My Babs loves her some bog cotton. I picked her some on my way over the tops of Ffestiniog a couple of weeks ago and she’s put it in a cute little milk bottle. The Welsh for bog cotton is plu y gweunydd. Such a better name I think.
Thank you so much Amber, it was so beautiful and peaceful, the choice of music was just perfect also, i drove to Wales five years ago to collect a welsh border collie, and i then witnessed such a beautiful peace, on a mountain top. so many blessings.

Hello Amber i love seeing the sun come up in the morning makes my day i think why the midges are around is because its warm in the hollow where you set up camp may be if you set up camp a bit higher where the wind will blow away the midges away but all the same its nice to see how much you enjoy camping take care and stay safe😀👍👍

Just remember, in Britain it’s easy because we have no dangerous wild animals.

A nice warmer.. As for midges, have you tried Avons skin so soft ? Apply as you would with any face and hand creams. It works unless they are severely horrendous.. Great video as always Amber, can't wait myself to do a bivvy camp 👍😁👍

I have a bivvy bag (non hooped) but not been brave enough to use it on its own just yet, sounds silly but I actually feel safe enclosed in my various tents/shelters..
I only really brought it to use in conjunction with my tarp-tent.
I’d personally feel too claustrophobic inside a hooped bivvy like this.

That was really nice. the black fly's have been driving me mad when Ive been on my morning walks this last week or so. I thought you had your channel more than a year you so good at putting your videos together. yes its nice that it as cooled down a bit and the upside of the rain is it keeps the fly's at Bay and my Hay fever is OK when the rain is around but it was nice to see the sun have a lovely week

It's just so beautiful there. I live in Florida and I love to camp. The weather is so unbearable here. On top of that, the fire ants and mosquitos. I miss northern Michigan. You could lay in the grass and stare at the stars and nothing would try to carry you away and eat you. I even miss being cold.
