@@Nissardpertugiu Gar too yes. After all these years, it was only recently that I REALLY understood just how great Gar was. When I was younger, I was really into that syncopated, accents-out-the-ass-style terminator thrash drumming, but over the years, I've really grown an appreciation for looser, jazz-oriented drummers, probably starting with a growing love of Bill Ward's playing. The effortless flow really compliments tight riffage.

Joint best with Gar Samuelson. And Chris Poland was their best lead guitar. James LoMenzo even jammed with them and recorded a Megadeth song, Wake up dead, in 2014, while they were practising for a project, never realized, unfortunately.

Nick was better, period, he made some of the best drumming ever, him and marty made some changes with the band that put them on the map and even made them commercial...megadeth was just a band before they joined..
Pag is such a nasty bassist... Truly a worthy bandmate for Mr. Poland. I mean, a 5-string fretless bass?! Who ever heard of such a monstrosity? Let alone played one... And to have Nick Menza of all people playing drums with these two... My god. Pure musical nirvana.

Every time I watch OHM or I see Nick playing his Megadeth songs I feel sad and I wonder maybe if he was waiting that last opportunity to be back in that band. What a legend.
Daniel Paez there was a death from within Demo with Nick it, and it sounds amazing
He did get a shot at it but according to Dave he wasn't ready or focused during the rehearsals.

I just wanna say this is him. He fit so perfectly in megadeth. There’s licks I always unintentionally end up playing when I play with a new band no matter the genre. Licks I love that I practiced weeks on end that are just hot wired. Like mustaine said. He ran circles over him. Im sure Poland knew how to switch it up to the changes mustaine did connecting a lot of his own licks/ adding new ones he made up on the spot probably while he played in megadeth.
