Walk with Me - An EASY HIKE in SOLLER, Mallorca

- In this video, walk with me on an easy hike in Soller, Mallorca. We leave behind Soller town and take to the hills to enjoy some spectacular views.
With the historic Ferrocarril wooden train rumbling past, we enjoy the sights and smells of lemon groves, orange orchards, and the olive trees which line the pathways en route to Deia.
I'll show you the interesting places we pass in our hunt for a cup of tea. But do we find it?

Luvly scenery done rail from Palma then tram if 40 years younger would. Done but now train will do I will walk with you Nd enjoy scenery 😅 take care great stuff roll on July 🎉

Those oranges are on private land,so I'm glad you didn't steal my fruit..lol. shame the cafe was shut, dont leave and lose your place in the queue. I'd liked to have seen what meals they serve but I cant have everything. Just truly thankful for the wonderful videos you share with us.😊
Awww, thanks Glyn for that! I would love to return there when it's open to see what it's like. I've heard there is a French tea room there, which means I may have to try and variety of cakes, for research purposes only of course!
Hopefully more videos to come over the winter like this! They don't get views, but I love making them (and it's a change of scene!)

Awww thanks Tommy - you can take the Brit out of Britain, but don't go replacing my Branston Pickle with jamon serano ;) Walking this route made me realise that if you're looking for peace in Soller this is where you can find it. Up in the hills.

I barely speak a word of German ! Never needed it here . Saying that my daughter does it at school and really enjoys it!
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun Your daughter will do well, then 😉I found most shops in Soller greeted you in German, most of the tourists on the Orange Train were also German, and the hotels on the hill's websites were in German when I looked before ...never a problem, it just seemed to be a common assumption...

What a brilliant video. The views were spectacular. And the orange trees. Daft dream when I was little was to pick one off a tree. 17:00 But couldn’t find any in cala Bona maybe next year 😢
Thanks so much James! There is something about orange and lemon trees when in the U.K. we grow up with apples and pears. I was the same when I first arrived . I just wanted to pick them !

It depends how quickly you walk. It took us about 4 hours with lots of stopping, looking at views and lunch!

Oh my goodness what a stunning video. I can’t believe some holidaymakers just fly and flop in Mallorca, this is the real old Mallorca. Some of your filming views looked just like the typical mallorcan oil paintings, just stunning. This makes a great change from the beach views . Thanks Alex, more please.
