Out of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca has the most diverse landscapes, making it the best island for hiking. Sure, Menorca has some cracking coastline walks along the Camí de Cavalls, but otherwise, it's quite flat, similar to Ibiza.
That's where Mallorca really shines. It has a beautiful coastline comparable to the other Balaeric Islands, but most importantly, it also has an epic mountain range - Serra de Tramuntana (Tramuntana Mountains). So, Mallorca really has the best of both worlds when it comes to hiking.

You were right to have gone to Mallorca and in particular to the Valdemosa area. It's very pretty and nature is fully expressed, far from the tourist hotspots like the capital Palma. There are plenty of other great places like this in Mallorca. Very nice views, nice editing and nice music, everything we like. Thank you and happy new year 2022 with more great discoveries! 😀

What beautiful scenery. We visited Majorca a few years ago and I was able to do some cycling inland for a few days. That mountain scenery though is stunning. The drone really gives a different perspective to everything....I so want one 😆
Thanks so much Niall! That sounds like a great trip, the mountains there exceeded all of our expectations. We do love flying the drone, it captures the mountain scenery so well. The DJI Mavic Air 2 (see in the description below) is a fantastic drone (and a bit sturdier & reliable than the cheaper DJI Mavic Mini), and because the Mavic Air 3 has just been released, the Mavic Air 2 price should come down quite a lot. So that would be my recommendation if you thought about getting one 😀

We've heard mixed reviews concerning the Mavic 3 so far, but once they fix some of the teething bugs, we're sure it will be another epic drone.

Hi, loving your tips! What time of the year did you visit? We're visiting over Christmas and would love to hike but not sure whether this is dangerous. Are there any trails you would recommend excluding over the winter time?
Hey Michaela, that's great to hear! We visited Mallorca in November. We did encounter a lot of rain, but the temperatures were nice and the trails were very quiet. The trails shouldn't be dangerous over Christmas time unless there's bad weather &/or snow in the Tramuntana Mountains - you'd just need to keep an eye on the forecast to assess the safety. Hi there! We visited in November, when there is certainly a higher chance of rain. Of course, the weather can be like this all throughout winter.
After watching this we might spend a few more days on that island before heading to the Pyrenees
