- Mallorca might be cycling’s worst kept secret: beautiful weather, fantastic roads and gorgeous views make it top of many cyclists’ bucket lists. However, even Mallorca has its hidden gems. Local rider and ex-pro Vicente Reynés has devised a special route, featuring some of the island’s lesser known roads and quite literally breathtaking climbs!

What's your favourite Mallorca ride?
M10 between Andratx and Banyalbufar.
Fantastic road with perfect surface and magnificent views.
And - of course - the snake to/from Sa Calobra
what a dream place for me to ride so amazing
I really love Col des Grau coming from Es Capdella - so lovely to see it in your video just after riding it last week! And: the climb up to Santuari de Cura on Puig de Randa from Llucmajor via Ermita Sant Honorat.

Mallorca 312. Very long ride with spectacular views and lot of other nice cyclists.
Lovely to see Gandalf and Bilbo on another unforgettable journey! 😜
What an amazingly beautiful place!
I really like how gcn and gmbn inspires people to start cycling by simply showing how fun it is
Hank in particular just seems to have such a great time every time he gets on a bike. Yeewwwwww!
Yes, and people don't have to ride a road bike, mountain bike, or gravel bike to enjoy it. Most people would be better off riding commuter bikes, just like the ones used in europe and asia. Cheap and reliable.
James: From the sea everything is up hill
Netherlands: *Laughs in Dutch*
There are hills in NL though
I cycled in Mallorca a few years back with a friend. First cycling holiday, first time on a proper road bike. Yous ended up in the exact cove we stopped at. Massive descent then realised the only way out was back up.
Used Bikehead in Palma. Looking forward to getting back to cycling once I get over this case of lymphoma.
Thanks again for showcasing our beautiful island!! We are really lucky to live here and love cycling.
Vincente and Marc are just the finest guys on the island. Funny enough Vincente once shared his secret swim spot with us and it ended up being a climbing exercise to get to the water… 😂 At least we were all alone there.
That was a great watch! Connor and Hank work together so well they are always fun to watch but at the same time you always learn something! Absolutely loving it! Keep inspiring us GCN! 😊🙌
Beautifully made film, love the low light ending.
How many Mallorcaholics loved this?
Shame about the ads, though........
Truly inspirational. We'll be there on Monday. Can't wait!
So much fun! Getting lost always adds to the adventure! Wow, beautiful.
What an amazing country. Can’t wait to take the bike in 2022
It's a sign, I was just in Mallorca for their Marathon. 3 weeks later I come across this video. Time to plan a cycling trip - not sure about the hills though 😩!
Wow! Simply wow!!
Maybe someday I got to get there and explore the island.
Looking forward to enjoy the island in March - DANKE for your videso guys and regards from Germany
Very tempted again to book a trip in spring.
You guys are the best, keep up the fantastic work.next spring i will be there to,if Covid allows.
Beautiful roads, beautiful scenery, top tipps for future rides! - But why do you pretend to be lost, when you have a camera crew, an experenced skipper and two gps head units with you?
For your entertainment
Watching the boys on that wonderful Spanish Island 🏝 whilst sat in Hull with the pouring rain makes me want to return to have more fun in sun on my bike👌
In that captains hat and sunglasses, Hank could be straight out of the Village People
Thanks for coming to Mallorca, you’re always welcome guys !
Great video, loved the scenery and the food! Vicente sounds like he learned his English from an Aussie!
I haven't even purchased my first bike.. but I'm obsessed with bikes and can't stop watching GCN. 😆 🤣 😂 thanks 😊 🙏 ☺
Jump in, buy a bike and join the clan!!
A lifelong hobby awaits you. Go for it, enjoy!
What’s stopping you Teresa?
@@mountaingoat3012 I believe its my age.. I am now 54 going on 55. Just a bit unsure of myself. I do walk 6 miles a day..
Thanks everyone ☺
Such cool climbs
Looking forward to my sixth trip to Mallorca next month! Still plenty of roads to explore, with or without these climbs!
My favorite route of Mallorca 🤩. Know it very well ☺️
Beautiful ride you guys!
The climb out of Port de Valldemossa is the best one you managed to not get to. Another I'd say is Coll de la Creu out of Palma
watching this while I am stuck at home during a heavy monsoon is doing no favors for me. one can dream.
Now I regret watching this in the daytime at my office, I've should do it at night before sleep... because it's so beautiful and comforting
The road to portals Vells/ playa el mago is an absolute hidden secret . I do it on weekly basis from the house . The birds on sunny morning are so relaxing . 😍
Port the Valldemossa in the early morning is quite amazing… Ma-10 in general is one of the nicest roads.
I’ve cycled Mallorca a couple of times and call it my favorite cycling place of all time. Yorkshire is not too bad either.
Fantastic, guys!!!
Awesome guys thanks
Wow...thank you Conor and Hank . Peace
"the wind was in our sails" no sails up

I've spent many years cycling all over the island and it's certainly a gem. Pretty film but what a shame there was so much messing about and a lack of genuine information that means many will still not know about them!
Editor: "What kind of music should I play?"
Hank: "We're in Spain."
Editopr: "Andalusion music that is."
Hank’s pronunciation of Mallorca is so funny… meeeeeeee orca. I love the way he ‘whales’ it 🤦♂️
Right?! They should've butchered it once, than just call it 'the island'
Mee-orca, shmee-orca
Meeyorka - something to do with Yorkshire maybe...
A paper map? How did you expect these poor lads to survive such a challenge! 😂
No fave, just enjoyed the trip. Thank you
I have done the first it is cool, second part the roads, is a part of Mallorca 312 🥰 wich takes you trough the best gems, after my opinion
AWESOME!!!! 💯🤘😎
We’ve got our trip to Mallorca set for May after two years off! Can’t wait to get back to cycling paradise! Thanks for the remainder of why we love it there!
It is a picturesque island. Looking at the blue sea and sunny roads it looks like it's still summer there.
79F in Palma yesterday...
Well done on the climb out of Alvaro. I’ve driven it a few times but biking it!!
Did you stop at the restaurant or go all the way to the Castel car park… and of course… I hope you ate at the restaurant- literally the best restaurant in the world.
I checked Kamoot. You finished at Es Verger… please tell me you are before your dad picked you up…
The port Valdemossa climb is a real hidden gem! Don’t miss it next time!
True, did the descent/ascent in 99' on a very hot day in August and then on to port Andratx
Flamenco is only typical music from Andalusia in southern Spain
Where’s the Halloween themed presenter challenge? 😦
Great video gents need to Persuade the wife to go on holiday here so I can go out riding while she sits next to the pool
wow!❤️
5:40 totally left him hanging 😂
Thats my Autumn leave sorted 🤩 Thanks lads. Must be some good xc / gravel routes by the look of it.
Só queria a vossa vida!😄
Happy Halloween 🎃 🎃
“Cobbles! Wasn’t expecting that.” Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition 😜
@0:06 Meanwhile aboard HMS GCN in "Meeyorka", the Yorkshire of Spain... ⛵⛰
You guys should've used your head unit to find your way on the boat to arrive at the right port !
Why the guys need a map, when Conor has the route loaded on his Wahoo? :)
Geography Tamás, Wahoo cannot show the terrain in its entirety but a map always does. And maps are a good backup. Never underestimate the humble map. 🙂🙃
Or they could always follow the cameraman...
I don’t usually like the music in the Gcn videos but this time it is really nice.
Meyorker!!!
At 6mins45secs Hank describes the road and says: “Sweeping ber-… eh, corners…”
- was he actually about to say berms!?! Maybe a sign Hank has spent too much time on GMBN crossover vids 😂
0:56 GCN love island 😂
I used it in a bus for special trips
First climb: how does 5km @ 6% = +980m elevation?
They made similar mistakes in the past. Climb must be 20 % to teach 1000 m of elevation...
I‘m wondering the same about all those elevation numbers…almost 1k in 5km…then 2k in 30km…and i just checked their komoot ride and it says a total of 2280m…
Hank would’ve learned how to read a map in the Army.
„riding without GPS - Hank vs. Hank‘s dad“ will be the thing
Hey GCN Boys
Which gearing Are you ridning with?
Meeyorka?
Can someone confirm what size is Connor bike?
How about a gpx of the route?
This bike was really easy to assemble czcams.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
That was epic suffering. LOL
Great route! But the andalusian music does not fit the video and need to improve on Mallorca towns pronunciation! 😅
Looks like a great ride.
But why do you ride without tail lights on open roads?
Dangerous...
Solid! Confusing feet with meters. 🤣 (Climb from P.d. Canonge). This is how NASA used to destroy space vehicles.
True facts, Conor is taller than the tallest tree on Mallorca.
But did Conner see the spoonbill or not?
Well, there not hidden any more!
come on guys... you ride so much in that island that at least the name you could pronounce right, a spanish crash course for the next time you go there!
The only reason Mallorca is considered legenday among cyclists is the fact, that most of them never had the opportunity to cycle through Japan. Way better roads, way better views and definitely more solitary experience.
ps. Still remember Hank reading Fukuoka as Fuck-you-oka
Now there is no secret.
I really enjoy GCN but really feel it's time they have a presenter that's the average Joe, not an ex pro. It would be great to see more viewpoints from someone with average skill and also an average bank balance so to the mere mortals of us we can actually watch videos including bikes that may be in our grasp rather than the expensive bike porn that is now GCN. I really would love to see more bikes in the £1000-£2000 range.
Hope this is something GCN considers.
And I hope to god its Hanks dad....
I couldn't agree more.
But what does the water taste like?
Conners not got very good sea legs. Hanging on for dear life….
A cycling cafe in Mallorca.., sigh
OKAU GUYS TIME FOR YOU GUYS TO DO BIKING GAMERS REVIEWS...#RIDERSREPUBLIC
Beautiful, I would love to go there, but I wouldn't risk a jibbyjab.....
Hotdammmmn... How tall is he?
The route on Komoot isn't the route the boys followed. They started their ride in a small port on the sea and ended their ride up a hill. The Komoot ride might use some of the roads in the video but isn't the same and it ends I'm Alcudia after a ride back across the plain.
Someone should tell hank to do his helmet strap up 😬😆
Paper maps!!!
If only GCN would just get a sponsor that did some sort of computerized GPS mapping thing then the GCN boys could just dump the paper.
I think it was sponsored by Komoot. (The logo was in the top left for a bit). I think them using the map helped make for a more exciting trip... going the wrong way, not knowing how much longer to climb, etc. All part of the "hidden gem" theme.
I don't have a expensive bike - but I have a Garmin Etrex, which shows the route, counts kilometers and other things, it's cheap compared to what a CGN bike costs
No hidden gems at all, always ride them
My knees stopped watching after the first climb...
First one
Would love it even more without the false stories of being lost. Waste of time you could have used to show more hidden gems (Mallorca has an east coast, too).
Conor always seems under-geared!
Some of the scripted acting reminds me of a certain adult film genre. Im half expecting a pizza delivery randomly inserted.

Is that how you pronounce mallorca!
