Made a Custom Vehicle for My 9 to 5 Warriors Action Figure

- 9 to 5 Warriors and I have been chatting for a while about doing a custom build with his action figures. I thought making a custom vehicle from junk that you could find around the office would be kinda fun, so I got to work.
I went with Commodore Crisps, of the Breakroom Bandits, because I thought it would be rad to make a vehicle out of a Pringles can, drink lids, bendy straws, pencils and a paperclip.
The 9 to 5 Warriors is a fun throwback to the early 90's action figure toys and really opens your imagination to a whole new world in the office after hours!

This is the first time I've seen this character, but he's a cute and cool warrior.👍 It's amazing how a potato chip case can be turned into such a cool car. It's really fun to make something with things you have at home. I'm also having fun making things with things I have at home.😃

This is a great build! The pipes and license plate are really the icing on the cake. The recolor of the protective seal was also a stroke of genius! Great work!

I wanted these guys since the early 2010s when I first saw them. Can't believe it was that long ago. Finally got them and now I just truly hope that the rest of them are produced because it is such a cool line. Have all the food fighters and a ton of those grossery gang figures. These fit right in.

I love it! Perfectly thought out! And by the way, the little ball for the gear shift looks like push pins we use in my office. But you are right - there's always some weird, random ball and other things in your desk at the office. I love the decal for car the best! Great job!

This looks awesome! Definitely fits the aesthetic of the toyline. Also reminds me of the toys I had from my childhood too. 80's kid here.

If you check out his Instagram he talks about how he was inspired by 80s and 90s toys and Food Fighters was definitely something he played with.😃

I agree with you, we didn't have alot of money when I was growing up, and so I made a Hotwheels city out of Milk cereal boxes and other boxes I can find around the house. Paint them and glue them into a cardboard cut out box lol..fun times.
And it was the most amazing times!😃

It was actually a little harder than I expected.
I kept thinking “oh I’ll add this” then was like “no, you wouldn’t really find that in an office space”.
The toy line is so much fun for this kinda stuff!

Like the can graphics and the gearshift especially.
Wondering if some disposable forks would be ok for a grill for the front. Not sure. Might be an overkill.
The straws also very cool. And the lid graphics also very nice.
So I actually tried that and because of the curve it stood so far off the can it looked like I was trying to hard. LOL
I'm guessing with a little more time I could have thought something through and made it work. 😀
