£45 for a hand-crafted work of art? He deserves every penny. 😁 26:31 That big lad right there is awesome! It's a pity there aren't that many mass market toys that have that same aesthetic right now. Love the retro sci-fi vibes.
11:04 simply awesome idea 🔥👍Btw nice toy pickups especially the EVA kit, beautiful artwork 🔥👍😁
Cheers dude!
The Game I couldn't complete was Treasure island Dizzy... we had the whole household taking turns... then one day my Dad completed it and he wasn't even a gamer 🤣
Oh damn, dizzy taking it all the way back!
Turtles on the nes swimming through those electric vines did me loads of time , awesome video aswell mate 😊
These coffin heads are bonkers; thank you for turning me onto them
No problem, they took good not to sing their praises 🙌
As a kid I could never beat Super Mario Bros. 2
(Love the exclusive cuphead merch)
STREET OLYMPICS by Mastertronic on the Commodore Plus4, lol I could never understand why my parents would be doubled-up crying with laughter whilst I was trying to go fast as humanly possible 😅😆😂
Killer video. The space is really getting there. I spy Krawju
Haha krawju is always about my bro 🙌🙌
When I was a kid playing Odd World seemed to never be able to finish haha
Yeah I nver completed it as a kid either but went back last year and saw it through finally, such a great game 🙏
Maniac Cop tee is wonderful
You have the right to remain silent... Forever!
Brütal Legend for me. Loved playing it but never finished...
Greatest intro ever
Firstly great video as always and Slimehouse HQ is looking better every time.
I enjoyed this chilled out episode. Awesome work table and like the idea of a messy corner- looking forward to seeing how you'll setup your spray booth. Great pickups too - I have bought some cool items from the Mariner at Sandown but didn't realise it was him at the time :)
I got to the final baddie in The Wind Waker...21 years later I've still got the save just before this fight.
I have no idea why, but I've never finished it🤷
The Battletoads game on NES was a game I could never finish. Probably couldn’t beat it even with the game genie 😅 awesome video as always Theo!
So many people said this!
A game I played constantly in the mid eighties but never completed was Saboteur on the Spectrum.
I'll have to get it down from the loft and see how well its aged !
Oldschool!
Excellent episode, they all are, aw man I got one of those coffin heads, their wicked, I got the devil man/mummy one. In 80s 90s I couldn't complete a lot of games as some where impossible to beat but recently I couldn't do Ori and the blind forest, I gave up on it 😂
Super Star Wars on the snes, could never complete it as a kid and have returned to it recently and still can't complete it :D
Tunic! Loved the game, loved the art style. Last boss was just too hard. Still hurts I didn't complete it!
Yeah your not actually the first to mention that game on here, I need to check it out 🙌
A game that I loved, but found hard and gave up on (after getting very far) was the ps2 shinobi game. Amazing game, just couldn’t handle it all the way as a young teen. 😂
Awesome video Theo 🔥 room is looking amazing.
Toughest game as a kid was bionic commando on the nes tough capcom game but I always want back to play it
My game was the Star Wars game on the Nintendo Gameboy. There was no explanation for what to do, it was so hard.
Have been to the last stage many times, one of my favorite games, but have yet to finish the last stage till this very date...Rocket Knight Adventures on the Genesis. Remains on my bucketlist for need to complete.
Excellent shop update and finds bro! Not a gamer but the only one i swear a lot to complete was soldier of fortune for pc...
Soldier of fortune, oldschool!
Never managed to finish pikmin as a kid always ran out of days to get the parts. Solid game might go back one day
Ahh I never actually played pickmin but remember the box art well
The man, the myth, the legend . . . .
Ghost buster's for the megadrive when I was about 6. Got to the last bit once, and got that excited I accidentally crashed the game by pulling it off the stand. 😂
Oh damn haha
Chaos Engine on the Amiga was the game that frustrated the life out of me. I used to be able to get to the last level when I played 2 players with my mate but we always used to fail. Over 30 years on and it still haunts me!!!
Awesome vid Theo. I always look forward to your updates. Keep up the good work bro 👍
Ahh man classic it had some great artwork in that game
@@slimehousetv it sure did. My first introduction to steampunk
The last boss in 'Deaths Door' is my nemesis - I feel your pain.
Keep up the amazing work and thanks for bringing amazing content to the table
I'll have to check that game out I've not played it! Thanks for the kind words dude 🙏
Thanks Theo, another really enjoyable video.
Much respect!
Great vid! Enjoying the continued Toycon love! Once a year is honestly not enough.
Re: game burnout, the OG R-Types on Sega Master System did it for me. Loved the art-style and everything about that game but could not get past (I think) the 3rd level.
Yeah most of them old space shooters have amazing art styles but get super hard very quick
Brilliant video again theo.
Ben Chapman
Cheers!
The game I couldn't complete was krustys super fun house on the SNES, that game was tough!
It was! Haha
Great catch up /update video bud. Looping on CBS Colecovision was my first game I couldn't finish. Then almost every game on Speccy, bar one where I had a cheat code. MDK on PS1, didn't know what the hell was going on! ICO on PS2, most dissapointed with not finishing as it was such a beautiful game. Yes of course Cuphead to the point I only recognise the vegetable bosses in that set, never got to the rest of em. At present Elden Ring & Hotwheels Unleashed.
Damn sounds like you been through the ringer with games you can't finish haha I feel your pain man, glad you enjoyed the video!
I love my collectables but never been into Sofubi until lately, I blame you and Toy Polloi 😂. I'm currently watching a auction on a Invaders O
Ahhh Sorry about that 😅
Man I'd love those figures. Re the game I couldn't complete, has to be the original tomb raider, didn't have the walk through guide, so it was almost impossible to complete without.
Not the first to say tomb raider dude, deffo a slog those O.G ones, but still available classics
@@slimehousetv some of the things required were almost impossible without the guide, early way of trying to rinse more money out of you!
Game wise the Scott Pilgrim Vs The World final Gideon could not beat him !!
Ahhh, I'd have loved the Coffinhead to be holographic, proper Visionaries vibes.
For me, I could never beat Final Fantasy 8. It's not that it was too tough, I put way too many hours into the game, lent my PlayStation 2 to a mate and she saved over my saved game when I was right at the end and ready to go after the secret boss. Heart broken!
Dope as usual bro!.. Super Probotector on the snes was the one for me..
I remember crying at Mike Tyson's Punch Out as a kid because I couldn't beat Soda Pompinski. It was aggravating because I could beat Mike, Macho Man, and everybody else, but he always got me! Another one I never finished was Dreamcast Sword of the Berserk: Guts' Rage, which had a whiplash of gameplay at times but was amazingly satisfying.
Oh that's harsh man haha and I would love that berserk game but it's a pretty penny these days!
Absolutely love your videography style. Getting. Flashbacks to the toys of my childhood. Concerning games unfinished, I couldn‘t do R-Type, back in the days on my C64. Wouldn‘t even try to do Cuphead. My obsession is collecting the soundtracks on vinyl, so I can at least listen through the games. Cheers and looking forward to see your studio grow.
The game I could never complete was Home Alone on the SNES haha. Maybe I need to try again sometime hhhmmm
There was a Garfield game on the C64. Never mind it was difficult, because there were zero instructions I had no idea what I was doing. I played for hours and hours but got absolutely nowhere! I was probably 8 years old but even still!
Ahh man so many of those 'wtf am I doing' in that era of gaming 😅
*Wednesday lol
I had to give up on Lies of P recently. There’s a boss towards the end I really struggled with and could never get past. A great game though!
Ahh that looked like a great game but souls borne is deffo a beast genre of its own
Heavy week.
CK'S coffin heads are sick.
Seems to be the theme of every week at the minute haha
Studio's lookin' mighty fine Theo. You must be so close to getting it done now. I'm gonna show my age here, but man Jet Set Willy on the ZX Spectrum broke me. Still have nightmares soundtracked by an 8-bit Hall of the Mountain King.
You not the first to mention that one!
Another awesome episode Theo! Always the highlight of the week. Not a big gamer but for me it was the Tony hawk game series that always got me the side quests, there would always be one task that eluded me!
Big Gomora is lovely. Lots of cool toys in this video. Corlenscope are amazing. Toughest game for me has to be burgertime. Spent lots of 10ps trying to gitgud. Defeated.
Loving the studio updates. Remember you showing me the 1984 Gomora at ToyCon! Man Ancient Mariner’s stall was fantastic!
Theo the studio is coming out hella dope my dude! Ninja Gaiden on the OG Xbox was the most difficult/challenging game I’ve ever played, never got passed the first Boss Battle(I hate you Alma)! 😊
Haha I need to revisit that one at somepoint
Defo checking out these coffin heads.... But a game I couldn't complete that comes to mind is alex the kidd, I couldn't complete the remaster on the switch!.. but I did complete it on the master system 2. Must have had more time for games as a kid!
JEEEESUS the war flashbacks , the last Super Mario Land 2 castle still gives me NIGHTMARES. I killed my fingers on my gameboy back in the day.
Jet Set Willy on the Spectrum. And to be honest i dont think i mangaged to finish much on my speccy.
Ha the game with the weirdest box art too!
Great video man 👌🏻 A game I couldn't complete was Oddworld Abe's Oddesey on PS1 haha!
Ahhh it's hard but I completed it last year for first time after being very close as a kid and failing. Great game, awesome character designs and lore too
Cuphead is hilarious. Really like the big green horned monster and those Coffin Heads are sick. 👺My nemesis was NES original system the Goonies. I loved it but never conquered it. Make more toys! You’re good at it and can’t wait to see what drips out of your head next.
Goonies on NES banger! And thanks a lot I plan to make many :)
Another great video man!
I have two hard game stories. The first was Terminator for the Megadrive. Still, to this day I cannot get past that first level 😂 having to dodge grenades feels impossible to me. Second one isn’t so much a hard game, but I remember my brother who was 13/14 at the time getting his arse handed to him on soul calibur 2 by my youngest brother….who was 5 years old. Great memories of nearly dying with laughter at the older brothers fury 😂
Love soul calibur, recently went back and played through the very first soul blade a couple times on the ps1
A game I havent beat yet is the first No More Heroes, K think i got stuck on one of the last boss fights which i think was very tedious to do and so completely lost my will to try to beat it. Might go back to it in a year or two though.
Another game I'll have to check out man thanks for letting me know about it!
Citadel on the old bbc b. I could get all the crystal thingies but never all in the same run. That game was hard...
Woah throwing it all the way back! Respect!
The game I’ve never completed is actually Cuphead haha! I love it but it does my head in when I’m dying constantly 😭🤣 Another game for me I gave up half way through is Final Fantasy XIII, I love FF games but I wasn’t paying attention to the storyline and had no idea what to do next 😭🤣
Cuphead be cupheading 💀😓😅
Love the vintage footage you edit in between edits. I play many games and never finish any of them lol Right now I am in the middle of "finishing" Elden Ring, RDR2, Hades, and Fire Emblem GBA on my iphone's emulator hahah
I've got cuphead not started it think I might do that now after watching buddy.
Room is looking great buddy and can't wait to see your next toy creation 😀 👌
Good luck!
Earliest memory of hitting a wall was probably Bucky’o’Hare on the NES.
Played it again as an adult and was possibly even worse at it… 😅
What a franchise, though; love the comic/cartoon/toys (and enjoyed your video!)
Oh absolutely gotta love Bucky!
Awesome unboxing man!
Respect 👊👊👊
The game I was never able to beat was the old Battletoads game on the NES. I know it's considered one of the most impossible games out there because of the sewer surfing level, but damn if I didn't try so many times to beat it.
You not the first to mention this one dude you are deffo not alone haha
@@slimehousetv I don't doubt that at all.
Loving your videos for a while !
For the game I couldn't complete and two times it was FFX, first time as a kid I was blocked in the frozen level & the second times I dropped because of the new shinny video games that released !
Glad you like the videos man!
Morning
Banging video as always, got to mention just how much of a legend Kev is, I've said it to retro ghetto too but Kev makes some insane things. Personally I think that chair will see a lot more than a daft 10 minutes kip 😅
As for the game, I'd say Tunic ( the one where you play as the fox) great game but towards the end it didn't tell you jack about what to do or where to go plus it was quite difficult, so I put it down and not been on it since, think I was only 2 bosses away from finishing it.
Keep doing you dude
Be safe be seen
Yeah kev the legend! And not played tunic but iv seen some bits of it il have to check it out man
I agree 💯%! I gave up on cup head too! But I still play it now and again because, I too, absolutely love the art style. The game is really fun but quite difficult too.
Yeah doesn't take up too much space on the console either does it so a good one to just have there ready 😅💪
Just saw the First Seconds...CupHead...omg❤
I got stuck on the boss fight with the vampires in Illusion of Time a few years ago and it still bugs me haha
I find as we get older, with those old games you can only afford to put so much time Into them before you just gotta call it quits. They just made them way too hard back then haha
Skate or Die was the game that had me smashing controllers, the Gomora is epic!
That Gomora sofubi is awesome, a really good size too 😎
Yeah I was really happy with it man looks great on the shelf!
That Custom made table is so fire, specially with the chairs! They look like made for it.
Really lookin forward to the Evangelion building stream or video.
A game I love but never finished is Battletoads of Battlemania on the Snes! Haha I everytime give up
Ahh yeah battletoads is a banger I don't think I ever finished it either tho 🤔
@@slimehousetv I still get anxiety when thinking of that Scooter-Stage haha
Double dragon 2 on the nes. It was a beast and never did get there. Pinnacle of 8 bit gaming. Love your work brother.
Cheers dude!
Love that table
The game I never completed but loved was Mercs on the megadrive. It was so good but as a kid it was bloody hard. It was like an action movie so as an adult now I have watched the play through on CZcams 🙌🏻
Great vid pal
Dude a model build would be a dope livestream and yo i could never beat T2 on the C64..impossibly tough game✌️👊🇮🇪😎
Yeah most commodore 64 games were wild hard!
Cup head was that game I gave up on too, damn it's so hard
It's deffo torturous ha
Shinobi for Sega used to drive me batshit mental not even sure it was a last boss the screen used to come over from the right and just fuck me over every time haha
Fingers crossed for that box it's mint 👌
Yeah tbf all the shinobi games are real tough I feel your pain man 😅
Remothered: Tormented Fathers
The old man was much to stressful for me!
Great vid again Theo! Big ups
Quackshot on the mega drive. Amazing game and very unique with the plunger weapon and how you used it to get around the level too. Very hard game so sadly never finished it but still a fond memory to this day
Ha quackshot classic!
another great vid mate and thanks for the Rubicon shout, looking forward to the Expo vid too
Always a pleasure dude, thanks again for the hook up at the weekend, that diorama is gonna go hard!
@@slimehousetv i have faith bro
Elden Ring love the game. The world and character design is awesome but I would just run around the world and beat up the things I could but when it came to the bosses I was way out of my league.
Yeah I feel your pain on that one 😅
*👻GHOSTS~&~GOBLINS👹* ( -or- 🧟♂Ghouls-&-Ghosts👻 for that matter) Hardest Boss ( Mr. *_LOU~CIPHER_* of coarse) for me to finish off & send back to The Abyss.
3:00 Haha, got the same (Amazon bought) Airbrush-spray Armature ;-))
( * What did _you _*_do_* to keep the Wire-handles from popping off the Steel Pipes??)
Great Stuff, keep it up M8! ;-))
The game I was not able to finish is Pilotwings for the SNES, Some of the levels are mad hard.
Not played that one I'll have to check it out dude
@@slimehousetv It's kina like a flight simulator
I have the old Kaiyodo and McFarlane Trigun figures but the Revoltech ones are easily the best ones that've been released to date so that's a good get. You gotta watch Trigun all the way through at least once. Vash and Wolfwood's arcs are sad, beautiful, hilarious, and hopeful. Trigun was the first anime I can remember watching that was getting uploaded to the internet within days of airing in Japan (in RealPlayer format eww) and it's still my all time favorite.
I think I need to revisit it for sure!
o yes love this shw
Nice one!
Great update man, no better way to spend a Wednesday evening than on the couch with some biscuits and a new Slimehouse episode! Nice pickups too👌 I've recently become completely obsessed with the new Neca universal Monster and Last Ronin Turtles. You pick up one Frankenstein Raphael and before you know it you need a new set of shelves🤦♂️😅
Ha it's a slippery slope isn't it 😅👊
Mate my neighbour warned me about blue slate, is slippy when wet and as it rubs together it produces blue powder that you will tread into your studio
Yeah you know what dude we decided to just have that down the sides to keep the weeds down and not bother having it in the front now, That being one of the reasons 🙏
@@slimehousetv excellent mate
Never been able to finish Super Metroid!
A classic but deffo a difficult one
I have tried to complete Radiant Silvergun for ages but I can never survive before running out of continues.
Ahh yeh never played it but looks hard!
Spyro
Maybe Comix Zone for the Sega Mega drive. I love this game so much, but it’s so hard to survive, even if I know what to do on every level
Oh I love that game, again though way more or the art style than the difficulty 😅💪
2 c64 games still bug me a *lot* that I haven’t finished:
The Original Monty Mole-game called … «Monty Mole» … and «The Last v8»
Of those two … The Last V8 - such a hard game.
But Monty Mole is a cool runner up, and the story of that game, first time I learned about the coal miners strike in Brittain … gotta love those articles in Commodore User magazine, so much knowledge for a 12 year old :)
Monty mole, oldschool! 🙌
@@slimehousetv One of the hardcore classics, sooooo hard - Monty on the Run had the catchiest music though :) Nemesis the Warlock was also a tricky one, sooo many good games from that time, getting the british Commodore User-magazine every month helped staying on top of things, and introduced me to british humor and the amazing drawings of Jamie Hewlett, good times :)
I mean, there’s a lot of games I could never finish due to a lack of skill. The one I tried really hard at though was Ghosts and Goblins. I got an arcade version to play on the PS4 recently, and I still can’t do it!
Yeah ghosts and goblins/goblins and ghouls and all them are so damn hard foreal
Dude EVA and Trigun.
Never played cup head, but i do think i have ever finished an Assassin's Creed.
Can't wait to start that epic Eva 🙌
I gave up on Rain World even though I got quite far. Loved the atmosphere and the whole aesthetic but I just couldn't handle the brutal difficulty.
Not played that one Ill have to check it out! 👊👊
Gonna catch this in a bit
For the algorithm! 💪💪💪
Mortal Kombat original on keyboard always found it hard to get up ladder to final boss
Yeah those got real difficult real quick
