I find it strange that so many people know others who say they shouldn't be buying toys. Who is telling you this? It has to be projection. No one ever told me I shouldn't buy toys in my life.

"Collecting" is just a fancy way to say "compulsively shopping". Once you grasp this concept it becomes easy to understand why people look down at you when you declare that your 'hobby' is shopping for children's things.

In 1998 Resident evil 2 was my favorite game....I was 10 and it was Badass. Fighting William Burkin at the end was epic

Wow what a find! The best things I've ever found are, sone game strategy guides, fallout 3, mgs 4, fallout 3 and modern warfare 2. Found in a skip on my round as a postman.

That is the stuff of dreams! I once found a bag of laserdiscs next to a trashcan. There is a store here were all the thriftstore rejects go and you have to pay by the pound.I have found some awesome things there especially during the pandemic

Amazing find! I don't have any big find stories like this, but thrifting here in the US I've found old computers I've wanted, some handhelds, consoles, etc, and recently I found a small collection of terrain kit at a charity shop; grass, leaves, etc. Nothing spectacular, but cheaper than off the shelf so I'm happy about it! Thanks for the great video it was fun enjoying your find with you!

Godzilla vs Megalon was my Showa era movie too. First Godzilla V/H/S my parents ever bought me. Jett Jaguar on the back really stood out to me. It’s one of the Godzilla movies Ive seen the most times along with The Original, Final Wars and Shin Godzilla.

I had that Why poster on my wall as a kid. They were a series of Vietnam posters that were available in those poster racks in Woolworths in the eighties.

I loved the Z-bots and they still inspire my drawings today. I had so much fun creating stories and characters and powers for them. If they'd had comics or a show I'd have loved it but I think the lack of that sparked my imagination more.

That's a fantastic find. I don't collect any of those lines but to find anything vintage especially in great condition and/or complete is a dream come true 👍 One of my greatest finds is a 1960s Bullmark Alien Metron sofubi figure from Ultraman for $20 AUD! It kick started my sofubi obsession 😀

Now it's not toys, but a friend of mines helping clear out his great uncles house full of old 80s fruit machines. I'm an arcade collector myself (videos tho not fruits) and he asked me if they were worth anything. I asked him to let me know what they were. But before he could, his mum put em all on Facebook marketplace for fifty quid. They had like a hundred people message them screaming I'LL TAKE THEM as some of them are worth quite a lot of money. In this day and age it's pretty easy to look up the value of something, I even told them I'd help! But whatever, if people aren't prepared to figure out what they've got, I guess they deserve to lose out. I'm not a toy collector but I always enjoy the videos, keep it up!

Wow that skip find is amazing! Whoever originally owned that lot must have seen some value in it as you don’t keep backing boards and boxes unless you love the stuff. Someone with no clue about this stuff has cleared that lot out, so glad it’s gone to a collector who values it 🙌 great seeing the studio update too, love seeing a man fulfilling his dreams 👏 and don’t get me started on that Doyusha artwork 😂- soooo good!
