The fact that this scene and the full convenience store meeting scene are the only times where we get to hear Bob actually speak.. and it’s not just his usual psychotic laughter, demonic roaring, or straight up silence.. it’s just freaky
0:12 that movement is straight out of The Grudge. I am convinced the director of the original Ju-On shorts took some inspiration from Bob or a similar source
It always annoyed me how people misquote this scene ALL THE TIME as BOB saying "What happened to dead Josie!?" despite it being abundantly clear that he says "What happened to Josie?!"
@@adorno_gang37 I think the scenes where Bob is in the black lodge (his home) and his line in the full convenience store meeting scene do a better job of conveying his freakiness

There are other times too.
"I'll catch you with my death bag" and when he attacks Windom Earle
@@WhaleManMan Well, the fact that Bob’s speaking is rare in general is what makes him one of the more unsettling villains in pop, culture history
you're forgetting the whole "Mike, can you hear me?" and "Catch you with my death bag".
@@WhaleManMan This and he also speaks through Leland (well at least we can interpete it like that).
He talks in the Lodge, too, in the final episode. And in FWWM, adhering Laura’s death scene.
Anyway, he has the fury of his own momentum.
I like that he calls him, 'Coop'.
Like an art teacher when they are impressed with your work
bob is so kind
ABC: So is the killer going to be a serial killer, a supernatural being, or an abusive father?
David Lynch: Yes.
the actor playing bob was actually a technician that appeared in a mirror of the house by accident; he looked scary, so he became the villain
@@Grandpierrefull sometimes the best decisions are spontaneous ones
PUT IT DEEEEOOOOWNNN!!!!
"I dunno, you tell me."

there's a pretty similar scene right before maddy's death where sarah crawls down the stairs. it wouldn't surprise me.
Twin Peaks is huge in Japan. Wouldn’t surprise me.
Josie's on a vacation far away...
I wonder what queen elizabeth thought of this scene
She probably thought somebody slipped hallucinogenics into her evening tea
I wonder if she watched The Return?
0:11 Have a Snickers Bob. You're not yourself when you're hungry.
*crunch*
Coop: "Better?"
BOB: "retteB"
This is so great.
Yeah, it may look dumb and cheesy... Until you see something like that, in your room, in real life
That was also my reaction after finishing the episode, so… fair.
Twin peaks Super!👍👍👍👍👍🍩🍩

WHAT HAPPENED TO JUDY
Lynch’d again.
JOSIE, not Judy.
Where’s Josie 😆
This scene almost ruined BOB. Not subtle or scary at all, just stupid.
It isn’t subtle, but honestly every scene he’s in freaks the hell out of me
It is so dumb omg I agree but the actor is doing his best. I think every time Bob speaks it comes off a little corny.
this is the problem with every scene he's in. the overacting does make it funny but it also prevents any of his appearances from being genuinely scary
i think the writers were trying to give BOB a sarcastic tone here
