I Made A Robot From An Eye Drop Bottle & Final Faction Parts

- My wife gave me this old eye drop container, and I knew it had the potential to be something special. With a few Dollar Tree finds and a discarded cellphone, I transformed this ordinary object into an extraordinary robot. The final result isn't super technical, but it's definitely eye-catching and fun.
I hope you enjoy this toy customization scratch build video!
Thanks for visiting DR Toys, and as always...

I love how your wife supports your hobby! Good find!
She's the best!
I love simple little 'sketch-bashes'... i.e. quick builds with just enough detail to create visual interest and encourage your mind to fill in the gaps. They're great to 'proof' ideas before going crazy on full scratch builds, and they're therapeutic - just to take a break from difficult hobby projects. I always have 1/35 tank parts left over, so making 1/35 compatible junkbots is quick and fun.
Totally! Like you said, this build was pretty relaxing.
Thanks
What a neat robot! I like the black finish, the visible sides and the display stand. Thanks for sharing this very cool tutorial.
Thanks, happy to do it! 😃
Hi Dave. Once again, thank you for a wonderful and very effective build. It looks great! As you know I always look forward to your posts. I’m never disappointed. Graeme
Graeme, thanks again! It makes me happy to know people enjoy what I’m doing.
This little robot may be simple, but it's awesome. Very cool idea to leave the window open to show the circuits. I love it.
Glad you like it!
I love your videos so much! Not only do you make the most incredible builds out of bits and pieces, but you also build whole worlds through just implications! It’s so very amazing and I feel so inspired every time I see one of your awesome little robots. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season & new year!!
Wow, thank you!
Happy New Year!
Fantastic build. Love it!
Super cool little build!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much!😄
@@DRToysCreations Anytime, always enjoy your builds!
Thanks once again Dave for your terrific build. Yes, it might be simple as you say, but sometimes those are the best. It’s the simple that you do to your models that take them to the next level: wires, weathering, moveable parts, and your imagination. I really look forward to your videos. Thanks again. Graeme 🦘
Thank you so much!
Happy New Year!
Simple but really awesome!!! Love the added circuit board 😊😊😊
Thanks a lot 😊
@@DRToysCreations you are welcome 🤗
I love the open window! I'm amazed at how you can look at things and know what to make. You're very creative!
Thanks!🫶
It's amazing that Japanese eye drops can be turned into robots!🤖 It's so cool that it looks like it might appear in a Japanese anime. The dry brush damage processing is good.👍👍 Dr.toys' robot works are so cool and I love them.
Thanks!❤️
That came out wicked cool 💯😎👍...It's also great to have a wife that supports your passion and hobby.
You got that right! She’s the best!😃❤️
Wonderful! I'm loving the color scheme. It's a beefy little survey bot too. Noce work.
Thanks
So simple, but so satisfying! Another great trash bot!
Thanks!
Great Fun! 👌
Thanks! 😃
very nice! I love the clear side panel
Thanks! I’d like to do another with the clear sides but try an LED! Just didn’t have enough time on this one.🤪
Another awesome build. (My wife was like, “Damn, that’s a cool bottle.”) Do you ever find yourself choosing products based on the toy build-ability of the packing?
That’s too funny!😄
I have once or twice but normally it’s just a cool package of something my wife purchased and I see it and ask her not to throw it away.😄
But like this eye drop bottle, she just left it on my workbench, it’s like a trash fairy left me a gift!😂
Nice build
Awesome bot build brother
Glad you like it!
Excellent Job😮
You always find the coolest trash and just to make the coolest figures and robots. 👍👍👍
Thanks. It’s also nice now that my wife saves her trash for me!😂
Cool robot. I might have to do a simpler build like that I think.
You totally should! ❤️
I love this kind of stuff.
I think a yellow stripe down the back-top curve would look good on this. All of your bots are starting to feel like they belong to the same world. Have you thought about making a story along with them?
Thanks. Yeah, I’m working on my 1M Robots line and have been thinking about these as part of that world. You can check 1M Robots on Instagram if you wanna check it out. I will be launching them at Designer Con in December.😃
another excellent job!
Thanks again!
Very cool!
Awesome!
Thanks!
Otra pequeña obra de arte
Thanks!
Reminds me of a 50-60’s robot from a scifi movie. It looks great!
Thanks!
Thats a nice build, and how cool is your missus to put that on your desk!
He’s sitting on my shelf next to my bed. 😂
That eye drop bottle is definitely sooo strong 😂…the bot looks so cool 🤩
Thanks!😊
That looks really cool. I wish somewhere near me sold those final faction parts.
Aw, that’s a bummer to not have a dollar tree close by…😢
@@DRToysCreations Yeah, the nearest one is probably a couple of thousand miles!
@@YuanMekong Yeah, that's a bummer!
Awsome work Dave.
You know i just did a 32 Ford Roadster and i turned it into an electric Hot Rod..lol and i also used an old cell phone board, once i make the video for it ill let you know.
Happy Modeling.

Hey Dave, here's my electric hot rod lol..let me know what you think.
This looks like a small bot that cuts metal with a Lazer but can also fix electronics. Was made to be a bot that could fix things on a space ship but a malfunction in the primary control station made them only communicate with each other. After destroying the ship they were made on they wonder space landing on ships they come across. Their primary objective is to fix ships but due to the malfunction they only use their lazer and in turn start cutting up the ship from the inside out. They do not harm people but will run away from people trying to catch them. Ill call this one Zipper fixer.
That’s amazing! 🤩
This should be in star wars
How did you still find time to do a build? Great job
I’m stubborn!😂
All my friends are telling me to stop until after D-Con but I do it for my fans!😅❤️
You’re a real one doc! We appreciate it!!
🤖🤘💙
nice :D

🔥👁️
What Paint did you use for weathering doc
In the past I have used citadel Nuln Oil but recently I have used Vallejo black wash. It’s a little bit cheaper than the Citadel, but it is a little bit more sticky/tacky.
👍
