Honestly if you’re looking for a “disturbing” movie that actually has a story or represents Mexican society without being a f3tlsh edgy film, Spooky I’d really recommend We Are What We Are (Somos Lo Que Hay) of 2010. It touches on many realistic topics like misogyny, patriarch families, poverty, crime, etc with a horror twist to it.
Thanks for the reccomendation!
Sounds really interesting!
It's a brilliant film and one of the few movies, whose U.S. remakes actually hold its own
@@TititoDeBologayI’ve heard they did a great job by adapting it to countryside (I think) USA! I haven’t seen it yet though.
@@SpookyRiceope you get to see and enjoy it, Spooky! Idk if I’d call it “disturbing” as other movies in this channel but personally I’d say it might be as it feels kind of realistic, like you’ll open a newspaper and find the story there.
This is one of those rare movies that genuinely made me mad when it was over because I felt that I had wasted my time watching it.
Man when I gross teenager, me and my friend lived in a basement, and we had a bucket for the ends of drinks we didn't wanna bring up stairs. After a about a year it started to like bubble all on its own. Like, life was being created in the tub
A bucket doesn't take a fricken YEAR to fill up with pee. A few weeks of drinking beers a few days a week with just a few guys.
Avg 5 teens, 6 beers each, 3 days a week, for 3 weeks so 5 x 6 x 3 x 3 = 270 beers worth. If one owes 6 oz for every beer for 270 beers, you have 12 gallons i think.
I just know we would get sump pump to turn on for first time in months from our per
@burtan2000 Oh man, no pee in the bucket. Just beer, liquor, milk, water, etc. Prolly some bread.
Adding bread to alcohol creates a bubbling action in the container. Yeast is a catalyst for making alcohol. The liquid in the bucket would have cause alcohol poisoning if you had drank it.
@jacksonlee3771 Well, I absolutely promise you that no one ever thought about drinking out of the bubbling miscellaneous liquid bucket, but the bread stuffs good to know.
As a Mexican , I haven’t seen this movie just the controversy. But I’m happy to see this with SPOOKY.
Spooky done hit second puberty.
wut
Right?? I noticed too
Balls twice as low now hopefully spooky keeps them boys wrangled up
Exactly 😂
omg he did
Thanks for covering this one, Spooky! And yeah, our country is in bad shape in terms of violence, so I can see how someone would make this kind of movie to reflect that.
Holy shit really?
I recommend Come and See- one of the greatest and most disturbing anti war films ever made
Is it worse than Threads?
I just realized he hasnt done Come and See yet. He really should do it
@@RandomZ5way worse
The barn scene is seared in my mind forever.
Thanks to your comment I watched it last night, it did have its shocking & heartbreaking moments... The Director & Writers did a good job, using real village people to tell/show part of history - that actually happened. ✅🎞🎬
Hey Spooky, the next movie you could talk about could be one of these Brasilian options: The Wolf Behind the Door (2013), The Cannibal Club (2018), Stomach (2007), Baixio das Bestas (2016 - Sorry, i couldn't find the translated name, but it has on youtube with subtitles) or Friendly Beast (2017)
Espero que ele veja
Estômago seria legal ver ele fazer review tbm
This one is definitely messed up. I've always thought the Mexican Salo thing was pretty good marketing even if the movie strikes me as something quite different than Pasolini's film. Great job covering this one...I feel like they'd age-gate me for even talking about this one before it finished uploading. :p
Excellent run of videos you're on man!
I'm trying to imagine where, "Christ I'm old.", would fit into this movie..... Love your stuff HorrorGeek!
I absolutely 💕 all these SpookyRice uploads! I’m in horror heaven!
I love these vids!!! I've been watching since I was a teenager and now I've graduated with my degree! Keep it up spooky - you're one of my favs!
I love this channel so much ☺ thank you for all your hard work! Been watching for years and when I hear that opening music it reminds me of the first video I watched on the channel!!
This 1 is another WTF video but love the way you recaped it. I think your personality so dope, just found your channel and been glued every sense .
👍🏽Great job Spooky, ty for the DB!!
Legit never heard of this one spooky! Thank ya bubby!
I like this channel, either I get to hear your reaction to movies I’ve seen already, or I get ideas on what new disturbing things to watch because I love disturbing films. This one I have never even heard of before.
Please do Found 2012. It’s a coming of age horror movie about a kid finding out his brother is a serial killer. The third act had me shook
havent found your channel since years.
you were so small back in 2019 bro, no suprose that you blew up.
i missed this old intro and the chill backround music
I'm grateful that it's still my summer that way I can watch this now instead of trying to watch this on my lunchbreak while my students paw at my door like zombified cats
4 years a fan, videos are as good as ever
wild, just watched this like a week ago, great job spook
I remember watching this movie years ago, didn’t think it was disturbing just god awful lol 😅
That's usually the case
Yeah I saw it like two years ago, not disturbing but a shit movie lol like the title card of “the author’s poorly disguised f3tlsh”
Last time I was this early, I WAS the Gohan
Cue le gohan
Spookyy i hope you're doing the best for yourself, bless
I always watch your videos for positive vibes but they go far away but at least it’s entertaining
I’m always shocked in these apocalyptic movies and comics that people don’t see the signs of a crazy person in their group……😅
You the man Spooky 🤙
I’m early! I’ve been watching u for years spooky :3
Double upload today✨❣✨Thank you Spooky!
Best channel 🙏🏼
Omg i was just searching this one to watch yesterday!
I’m still gonna watch your video tho

Wishing you lots of good vibes & success!!!!
Noé Hernández is like a Mexican Willem Dafoe
Your videos are the new era of CZcams
This could be the village part 2?
Nice vid and keep up your awesome work!
Cheers!
Spooky what a Hit Review
New mic spooky? 😁✌️
I watched this movie at random through Tubi and I had no idea what the hell I watched.
Bro thank you for the explanation
Honestly I didn't understand a single thing and it confused me AF
Bang up job! An same, my sister an I haven’t even spoken in 4yrs. But someone touches one hair on her pointy head, I will not commit murder. I will not harm them.
They’re just gonna go missing……🐺
How the world never ended was very, very interesting. Reminds me of how people feel when they break off from a cult. It was all a lie.
Charlie manson looks like Joaquin Phoenix as well
A.I. spooky done taken over! 😮
Th worst type of feeling in the world is the descent into pure madness.
.man i LOOOOOVE this film especially the 3rd act-straight beautiful
Yikes
ay chingados! se ve bien interesting dawg.
do a vid on dead mans shoes its one of my favourite films and its pretty feed up
You should do last year’s Speak No Evil. Most of the movie is more creepy than disturbing but the last 20 minutes or so are absolutely brutal.
As someone who's Dutch and thus speaks the same language as the family that's being visited.
Shit got way too obvious. If someone over here invites you. Acting like they're rich. Only to show their bungalow like house. Then it's obvious those people are liars. The way they speak is also a big red flag. They did make the right decision to have the visitors be from another country tho. But I kinda knew what was going on just based on the behaviour from the Dutch people
Most messed up movie in mexico. Then there's the Cartel
Good pick
Have you seen Tigers Are Not Afraid? I think its another disturbing mexican film centering around kids with the cartels.
Nice overview. I'm definitely gonna skip this one haha
good video
What a crazy film!! But awesome video!!! I highly recommend watching New Order (Nuevo Orden), a dark Mexican dystopian film!
Taxidermia is a way out there graphic movie. Right up your alley
You should also watch Atroz(2015) is a movie collaboration between Mexico and The director of cannibal holocaust
Spooky made a video about it already
Spookyrice you should do the human centipede 2! It's the most messed up one!
Take it this won’t be on Disney+ anytime soon?
Freaky....Say, can you do the review of We Are What We Eat later on? Now that film has a whole lot of mess up and almost feel sorry for some characters.
:’( I’ve never had such loving family like this
This movie is so realistic. This is how life in Mexico really is.
Definitely something you should watch with your siblings.
This is one interesting movie.. I definitely wouldn’t trust anyone resembling Charles Manson
*@AnnieNorthman89*
*THAT* part!! 💯
@@LoLifeIsForever-hl2nm Facts 😄 Just run the opposite way
@@AnnieNorthman89:
🤣 Common sense isn't always common, lol
@@LoLifeIsForever-hl2nm That is very true 😆
@@AnnieNorthman89:
Lol!
I mean, one would think surely even foreign people know of Charles Manson! 🤷🏽♂️
Is this movie available to stream somewhere?
Where are all the videos on the bootyrice channel??
Hey spooky can you do a video on either Joyride 2 dead ahead or joyride 3 both movies are disturbing on how you look at it
Where did you find it? I haven’t seen it again
Love this film.
Has Atroz ever been covered here? I can’t remember
yes czcams.com/video/P1a1qFYd25Q/video.html
I've been watching these series since my middle school years I'm in 11th grade now 😭
The Spanish version of the secret in their eyes is an amazing movie!!
Not me thinking the guy/villian in the thumbnail was Joe Pesci.
His smile is like Jack Nicholson as the Joker.
Its a low budget movie, but it scarred my childhood. Its called Slashers (2001). Its like Rob Zombie's 31, but shot in a "fear factor" setting.
The ending was pure genius/madness
I started watching this on Tubi, but I rather save my mental state and watch it here
Once was enough for that one. I’d rather rewatch Alucarda than go through that again.
Pls do Sinister
3:36 thought he was about to say that the actors were real siblings.
I heard the director wanted to cast real siblings
I've seen Salo, A Serbian Film and Trauma and this is the one i xouldnt finish.
SYMBOLISM!
Yeah, and here we were thinking that red hot chili peppers, refried beans and undercooked pork quesadillas would be enough to give us an upset stomach.
please review trouble every day
So it’s basically a Mexican version of Kuso except that there isn’t really an apocalypse.
👁 CAN + NOT!!!!!!!!!
👍🍿
Spooky we want to see Tokyo Gore Police
where does anyone watch these movies?
Oh cool, this film's on TUBI
Yo
AYE AYE AYE AYE
I actually hated this movie,I bought it on Amazon when it was first release,I enjoy Gaspar Noel films even though he enjoys some subject matters but to me this crossed the line
PLEASE DO VENENO PARA HADAS ITS NOT GORE OR ANYTHING ITS JUST VERY VERY MESSED UP
Chuey Mason.
Era una huelga de la unam 😢
🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
I thought that was Bill Paxton
maybe i suggest you dogman and "Rabbia Furiosa er Canaro"
they are two italian movies that tell "crime of Canaro" one is Normal the other is splatter
Ok the most disturbing film ever made in Mexico: ATROZ.
You should see "In the realm of senses" it's pretty messed up, also the sex scenes are unsimulated
