I'm glad I didn't impulse purchase these. I love the aesthetics of them and how small they are, but I would really struggle to cope with the amount of treble gain they have. I know why they tuned it like this, the moderate U-shaped tuning gives a broader soundstage and more atmospheric sound quality, but my ears really don't play nicely when the treble has that much gain over the mids. I'm glad your ears aren't afflicted like mine are so you can enjoy them. Maybe if I can pick them up extremely cheaply then I'd consider it, but I won't be holding out any expectations.

4:05 22:30 I appreciate these breakdowns of truth. I never find it so simple to declare some new superior IEM. There are so many options, and every choice can appeal to person in specific ways. Must research, carefully consider, and listen for what suits you best

Nice review as always! I'd suggest that Rose Technics lose the dongle, include a better cable, and lower the price so it competes better.

Perhaps, variations (ups and downs) in FR in treble give this perceived/simulated crispiness. Same as simulated stage. It works for some music and destroys other. I noticed that with EM6L, for instance, I like stage and instrument separation but they completely remove (weaken and make distant) vocals on some music. It is weird how small tweaks make it or break it.

Absolutely true, in my experience. This happened with the Dunu Vulkan, which had something of a "chequered" development process and ultimately launched compromised 😮
