all i gotta do is bounce wit it
i say this at least twice a day now 😂😂😂
HAHAHAHAH
Was gonna like but would ruin the 420 likes 😢
It’s living in my brain rent free 😭
I love Cody’s chaotic energy alongside Kelsey trying to make the cozy vibes happen
“I’m a munch tho” CODY LMAO
Being around Cody in the morning seems terrifying lmfao
cody in the circle is so unhinged i love it
I am crying laughing in the first five minutes. The dynamic is so chaotic and sleepy and all too relatable.
dude and all the animals taking over is just incredible. bring the chickens on next!
“It’s a square this morning” lmao
@@IsabelGiler i was craccccckin up
I feel all of this except add two children in the mix 😂😅 the chaos is real
bickering or not, their dynamic is unmatched (and honestly paints an accurate picture of spending every single day with your partner lol)
Cody was like a little child that wakes you up early at the start of this😭😭
you and cody talking about decorating the house wild so your kids will feel safe to be themselves is the most wholesome thing. you two are going to be the best parents someday 🥹
cody always comes back to a faithful yodel whenever he's singing something with no words
Cats can be very stressed when their environment changes and that can lead to poopping out of the litter box! I believe they will be okay as soon as they feel at home at the new place 😊
I love Cody in the circle he’s so funny
Hey y’all! I grew up on a farm raising chickens so I will give you a quick list of poultry pointers.
-Washing your eggs is fine as long as you refrigerate them. They can last for months refrigerated.
-Don’t worry about your eggs being fertilized if you’re pulling them everyday. This leaves no room/time for the embryo to develop so your eggs will always be baby free.
-If you are unsure about certain eggs/think they have babies, you can take them in a dark room (my mom and I would always go in the bathroom and turn off the lights) and hold a flashlight under the egg. You will be able to see inside of the egg and determine whether or not there’s a baby in there.
-Ducks are much higher maintenance and much messier than chickens. They require water/a place to swim. And they are extremely messy eaters, they only eat their food if it is softened by water. That being said, they’re adorable and very fun, but just do some research into breeds that might work for you.
“Let’s talk into the microphone.”
“That is not how we talk in the circle.”
Kelsey using her teacher voice to speak to her man-child husband.
If you want to know if eggs are good, put them in a cup of water, if they sink they are good, if they float they are bad!!! my best friends dad is a farmer and taught me that 😊
I really want to see Cody’s parents’ old kitchen now
few things are funnier to me than cody gagging after smelling something bad
I love the relaxed mom and dad vibes of Circle Time. Oh and never stop bickering.
cody and kelsy are so perfect for eachother. calm and chaos in the best way.
The self love segment is hitting hard rn, gonna work on being kinder to myself THANKS KELS LOVE YOU GUYS ❤
Im an interior designer and im so glad you guys are doing your own thing w your interiors. I love designing other peoples homes, but love seeing people design their own homes even more. I think hiring an interior designer is great for people who are a little lost with their sense of design. But I think that if you have tuned up your taste, you should source pieces on your own. If you need it, have an interior designer come in at the end to find those finishing touches that tie it all in. Most important thing to remember when sourcing on your own is dimensions! Measure measure measure!
Also super helpful to throw items onto a slide. You will quickly see which don’t fit/what you need to add for it to work. Last thing: go piece by piece. Don’t bulk order! Once you see a piece in your space, it becomes clear what would compliment it versus trying to imagine it in your mind beforehand
@@simoneava4503 I always throw things into a slide! It makes creating a cohesive vibe so much easier as I design my apartment!
@@simoneava4503 how will I get the items to the playground? Or am I supposed to bring my own slide to the store?
Okay but really, do you have any good tips for people to find their style/find pieces they like?
i love how cody loves to be on circle time
Just FYI you guys - chickens eat their own eggs! So if you have eggs you don’t want to eat, you can crack them for the chickens and they will eat them. What we would do is feed the actual eggs to the dogs (as long as they aren’t smelly) and we would feed the shells to the chickens. No waste that way!
This seems barbaric, cannibalistic even 😂😂😂
@@DKF_oli often nature is cannibalistic. I worked in the marine section of a science museum and some times I’d show up to my shift and find one starfish that was eating another.
Cody's energy was so good at the start of this omg
Also on the first question, if I say something harsh about myself, my best friend always says "Excuse me that's my best friend you're talking about, could you not" - and it never fails to make me laugh but it's started to sink in how often I say things about myself without thinking/acknowledging it
Poop On The Rim should be the name of Cody's next single
To the tune of "snow on the beach"
The book lull is real. Go back and start reading an old favorite. That always helps me get back into reading!
Harry Potter, here I come
Cody throwing a tantrum about the cat poop is so funny, the cough Gags 😂
Kelsey starts the podcast like it should be an ASMR podcast. ahahah
So cute how all the animals came up and chilled with you hehe
I don’t know if this is important to hear, but I hope you know that (for me at least) the reason I enjoy hearing you talk more about life and your relationship is cause it’s honest and reflective, it makes me think of how to either be a good partner or communicator. And how similar or different personalities work. Really love that team x
Your old house’s design seemed more cold, not as homey and comfortable as a home typically feels. Maybe it was the cement/ concrete walls. But even this little corner feels cozy and nice
Farm girl here! I have heard that runner ducks are the best because they are naturally flightless, cute and they eat slugs out of gardens if you choose to grow anything!
gor Cody!!!
Cordy !
cody being a cat dad the whole video is taking me out but i love it they are so cute
As someone with a BA in Interior Arch & Design, I went into commercial design for many reasons, but one being that I feel residential design can be so personal (and if decorating is involved in a project, I feel like that would ultimately need to be up to homeowners anyway) - love when people make their space truly their own!
I’m studying interior design right now and I agree with everything y’all said. Watching your vlogs Kelsey I have seen how your personal style has changed with clothing but wasn’t being reflected in your pervious home’s furniture or decor. But I am really excited to see what you and Cody come up with. Based on what you said today I think you are on the right track and it will all come together beautifully . I think decorating a house is when you pick out what makes the structure look nice and decorating a home is choosing things that represents the love and interests of those living there. You can definitely feel the difference! ❤
i just wanted to say great job with circle time and you really do make a difference in people’s lives. i had a tough day at work and it honestly brightened my afternoon when I opened youtube and saw this episode waiting for me. thank you kelsey 💜
My Canadian grandmother also collects egg cups and tea cups, hearing Cody talk about that makes me think of her ❤
I think the best way to design a home is to have the cohesiveness in ea room and spunking it up w ur touches of flare in every place u desire it. Ie, you have an industrial style home w bohemian accessories or touches of color in ea room or somethin!! We need a house tour and to be taken along for items u guys love the most and why!! 🩷 congrats on lil ko, two new kos, the cutiest additions!
i’m a preschool teacher and my classroom is 2 and a half to 3 and a half and i absolutely love it. That age group is so fun they can definitely be difficult but teaching them all the things to send them up to bigger classes is so great. I help out in other rooms sometimes but i always tell my boss that my room is where i wanna be
I love hearing you talk about teaching 💕 I taught the 2s class for 7 years and after saying I only wanted to work preschool. They learn so much at that age and it’s so exciting to watch. It’s so refreshing hearing someone else who still has a love for it, most people look back on teaching poorly and talk about how bad it was. But I loved it and love hearing how much you did 💕
I use one of the silicone scalp brushes and it has totally changed my scalp health!! I’ve always been a person who had to wash my hair every day and use medicated shampoo. Just from using the brush every day (whether I wash it or not), I use an unmedicated clarifying shampoo once a week and now just wash 2 or 3 times. It has made a HUGE difference for me, totally life changing.
I love the concept of this podcast. I remember kelsey talking about her real circle times back in the day and seeing her now turning the concept into a podcast is so nice!!
You guys are super inspiring my girlfriend and I love taking and. Listening to you and Cody and it’s a great real example to see of a nice relationship in the public space which isn’t hyper monitored and performative. We also like doing the deep convos and I take inspirations on your topics for our date nights as we’re currently long distance as I’m living in a different country. Love you guys
I love when Cody is on the pod! It's fun listening to your banter. Also, met y'all at ACL last year and hope you guys are coming back for this years festival!
you probably know this already but a lot of times when ppl move their cats will show that they're stressed by not using the litter box. so its normal but if it continues, do research into a different litter box or put it in different locations.
Kelsey! I recently developed eczema on my scalp (in my mid 20s), super dry, sometimes itchy scalp. It’s like red, scaly patches. It’s apparently somewhat common for young adults to develop - talk to a dermatologist - they gave me a serum and shampoo to integrate and it cleared it up almost immediately, save for a few flare ups here and there.
30:43 fully already listened when this came out on audio but came here to say I gasped at this. It just hit. Top Cody moment.
Instead of scrolling on TikTok and IG, I read on my Kindle! I also like to read when I’m waiting in line or other mundane things - it makes the waiting time more enjoyable
ya'll with all your animals makes me so happy
Kelsey!! The flaky scalp may be due to curly hair products if you’re using any, they’re often super moisturizing/thick and will build up on the scalp. Try using a cleansing shampoo once in a while or finding a lighter weight shampoo and staying away from your roots with the conditioner
i love cody in the circle
Her little gasp 🤍 ‘that is not how we speak in this circle.’ They are going to be the best most fun parents!!
as a first year teacher whose first year is ending- totally relate to like trauma bonding with a difficult class and adoring the ones who give you a hard time (but i currently teach 3rd and they’re bumping me to 4th to stay with them next year bc of our trauma bond 🤪🥲)
ur so valid kelsey I live my life off alarms I couldn’t function without them
Kelsey mentioning cheaper by the dozen 2 sealed my love for her 😭
my family has chickens, ducks, & geese and i love them! ducks are a lot messier than chickens tho just fyi, they need to have a pond/some kind of pool to get in so they tend to create mud. still very cute and fun to keep though
FOR YOUR SCALP!!! mielle rosemary scalp oil before every wash! ❤️❤️❤️has saved my dry scalp
I'm a first grade teacher and I have 3 days left of school. Very tough year but I'll miss my babies. Also YES to the alarms all day lol. And we just hatched chickens and turkeys in my class, and it was super fun!!
I went to the doctor for my dry scalp, and they gave me a shampoo and it solved it immediately. I’d recommend the doc!
Love the square time
yea you were right, it's called Rich Dad Poor Dad. Read that as well, at it was the most helpful book on finance as a student/ early 20s! loved the episode!
I never get tired of this
Cody giving big Julien Solomita vibes at the beginning
see a dermotoligst about your scalp! I had a similar problem and figured out I have scalp psoriasis. I also am in my first year teaching in a 2-3 year old class ~ love hearing about your experience teaching!!
Good idea about scheduling reading time. Im going to try that. I set a goal to read 30 books by the end of the year. Hope it will help me get there.
Biolage dandruff shampoo. It helps me so much. I have the same spot and itchiness.
get runner ducks!!! they are my dream to have because they cannot fly but are also super cute and provide all the benefits to your yard like eating bugs and fertilizing the ground would LOVE to see you have some
The off camera gagging is so funny 💀😭
Cody glowing under the lignt and drinking his coffee is the visual representation of a morning person juxtapositioned to Kelsey as a non morning person
The chicken talk just made my day. 😆
First you can blend up the bad eggs with the shells, cook them, and feed them to the chickens. The calcium is good for them and while I know it seems strange it is ok for them to eat their own eggs as long as they are cooked abd the shells are broken really small.
Second farm fresh eggs do not always have poop on them!! If you do it right only a few eggs in a bunch will be a bit dirty. Finding clean eggs is all about the bedding and a little about when you gather them.
Obviously the earlier you gather them the less likeky the eggs will be dirty. You also want to make sure their lay boxes are really clean and really seperate from their daily areas so they know the lay boxes are not where they live and poop but just where they go to lay eggs.
Hope this helps and yes I also have a billion alarms 😋
Maybe also get grit for your chickens, not having enough grit can cause dirty eggs but also other issues for your chickens. You can buy it at the store.
If you really want clean eggs you could also invest in some roll away nest boxes which rolls the egg away from the chicken the moment its layed to prevent durty eggs.
I love living proof's curl products!
weekly hair masks and leave in conditioner! also oiling your scalp before a shower and letting it sit for a couple hours
its a square this morning muahaha
i set 6 alarms in the morning to get myself out of bed. got ur back Kelsey 🫶🏼
Ooooo girl try Diva Curl products - I keep it stocked for my curly boyfriend and it’s been a game changer
I had two peking ducks for almost two years and I literally have never loved something so much BUT! It was also really stressful because they are practically defenceless and they live outside 24/7
You guys can feed older eggs back to the chickens!! Just cook them through! I like to add garlic and red chili flakes!!!
I have chickens and ducks and the ducks have made me so happy!! you guys should definitely get some ducks
Kelsey has the best advice, Cody too!
Kelsey!! I used the same Living Proof Curly shampoo/conditioner and that could be causing your scalp to dry out!! I love Living proof products but that shampoo dried out my scalp, i had to switch!
14:32 the only reason I have so many alarms set is because I get anxious thinking about the possibility of my phone malfunctioning and my alarms not working
Love the curly hair representation! From a curly circle couple!
For dry scalp I would first try when you condition make sure you get that on your scalp and let it sit for a little then really rinse it well! Next would be maybe once or twice a month do a deep conditioning treatment and also make sure you get that on your scalp as well. When I do a deep conditioner treatment I went my hair with warm water then try and get it to at least not dripping wet then put the conditioner in and if you have a plastic cap use that then blow dry on low with the cap on to really open up your hair follicle. I blow dray for 5 min then let it sit in for an hour then rinse with cool water.
I love curly hair! It’s so cute.
I was so happy to hear you guys talking about I think you should leave, my fiance and i LOVE that show and no one else in our life does 😭 the hat/court skit is one of our favorite things ever
Lets gooo, to be honest all i was doing this week is bouncing with it, so im glad there's another episode with Mr bouncer the dj.
my cat used to do that! Sometimes they don't like the new littler or the new place where the box is or sometimes it is too small!!!
I had the worst dry scalp for so long and my hair gal said head and shoulders. So I’ve been using it once a week and no longer have dry scalp!
I can't even imagine an unhinged Noel in Circle time
Hearing y’all talk about decorating your home is making me remember how much I love decorating. I’ve been so depressed I kinda forgot but I think I’m gonna try to decorate my room tomorrow
Kelsey u should try oil swishing in the morning. Ik it sounds weird but it cleared out my scalp flakes
i want ducks so bad so i absolutley support!!! my mom used to have two when she was younger, named tippy and perk :)
I’m so early. Love these videos!
37:20 Yes, you should not wash the eggs, but you can clean them with a dry toothbrush
37:29 unwashed eggs can be stored for up to 3 months!!! I’m part of an egg csa so I get a shit load of eggs but can’t eat them in time. The farmer said they last up to 3 months unwashed :)
Japanese scalp treatment! There are great salons in LA
Love the Cheaper By The Dozen appreciation!! Cheaper By The Dozen 2 is my favorite movie of all time and is one of the few cases where the sequel is better than the the first movie. (High School Musical 2 is another example of the sequel being better than the first movie)😊
you can test if all the eggs are good by putting them in a cup of water. if they float they’re bad. obviously once you test an egg put it in the fridge or just only test an egg when you go to use it.
Kels get the ogx tea tree mint scalp treatment it’s like $10 at ulta it’s literally so good for ur scalp
