  • Mod is here:steamcommunity...
    It makes the game run quite slow. If you're wondering why some countries weren't included, it's because if I include all of them the game runs at a snail's pace. It seems like the AI is check all of their CB's every day, or something to that effect.

    Ahh, that intro makes me remember back to my first ever campaign. I was playing as Castile and I went out of my way to destroy Scotland just because our colonies in the New World bordered each other and I was annoyed with the map colors.

      In case anyone asks, I didn’t form Spain because France was my ally and they took Aragon in a PU before I could unite with the Aragonese either diplomatically or otherwise

    "Rising Power Galore" Time-lapse idea: the 8 great powers get razed every time a new institution appears (or simply lose 20-40 percent of their provincial development - not sure how you'd program it).

      Was playing England and this same exact thing happened to me. Luckily the Iberian Wedding had already fired so I got a PU over Castille, Aragon, and Naples. Not to mention already having a PU over France and Friesland as a vassal. One of the best games I ever played, vassalized Portugal too in a restoration of Union war against Castille so I had the top 3 colonizers (besides myself) under my thumb

      @chriswilliamson9993 Před 3 lety +4

      @@sxkv442 The AI always runs the colonial policy that doesn't give native uprisings. So it would still be able to colonize. However, nations without colonial ideas wouldn't be able to select the policy, and hence would suffer massive losses from marching troops through uncolonised lands. The net effect would be to help the colonizers and seriously mess with the natives.

    • @hrsmp
      @hrsmp Před 3 lety

      The comment above sums it up nicely. Only migratory natives can walk freely, settled ones (and the AI usually tends to settle first chance they get) get colonial uprising even in their own tribal (de jure) land. So it's a stupid idea.

    • @KFishproductionII
      @KFishproductionII Před 3 lety +1

      @@chriswilliamson9993 thats why you add +25% uprising chabce so you get at least +25% chance of it happening, no matter what policy. That means colonizing will cost manpower, effort, and such that could be expended elsewhere, but the potential rewards are as high as the risk

    A time-lapse where every dynasty is their own country
    or
    a time-lapse where every major government types are combined to for their own countries called the Monarchies , Republics, Monastic Orders, Hordes, Heavenly Mandate, Bishoprics etc. Japan would be fun as there would be one small country called Shogunate and one big country called Daimyo as a vassal of the former.
