In reality, he reads what TDS writers wrote off of teleprompters. Even still, I find his delivery hilarious and hope he finds fame.
There is a whole lot of nuance in all of this. The host and contributors all have their say but they are easily overturned by corporate executives. What the hosts of these comedy shows and all those who participate is almost never from heart. It is from consensus in the writing team and given the OK by corporate executives. This, sadly, is also the case for anything seriously labeling themselves news.
We are all seriously screwed and anyone who is younger than 50 is going to witness the collapse of human civilization.

@@joedufour8188 Breaking News: Comedians write their material before delivering it. And if they're famous, they have people overlook their material. And if they have to give more minutes of material than usual (either from being booked more, getting specials, being on a show), they have people who fill up some minutes with writing help. They can't be "on" all the time. Ronny Chieng said in an interview: what he learned from Trevor Noah is that it's important to understand the message that you're giving out at the end of the day and that he's learned to be more attentive to that.
@@joedufour8188 It's almost childish that you believed that one person can give out so much content without any assistance and approval. Even if they had all the time in the world and that their job didn't just include creating and presenting material, there would be too much risk of getting burnt out. Being creative doesn't work on a schedule. You can't just force someone to be creative. That's why they have a team of like-minded creators so there's less opportunity for burn out and there is always material.
He's just Korean; he couldn't display emotion if he wanted to.

Sure I get there's not much appeal to freezing your ass off for 1st gen adult migrants from hot countries, & there are wealth inequalities at play too, but that's not enough to account for it. Every ski resort can't be racist and hostile, surely. Or at least not more so than everywhere else. & skiing and snowboarding are fun af.

@@outeast999 Like you said, it's mostly wealth inequality, but also access to the sport. Don't get me wrong, ski and snowboard community are some of the nicest places to be apart of. Not everyone lives next to a ski resort or has the availability to drive or fly to mountains and spend thousands on lodging, tickets, gear, etc. Sports like running, American football and basketball are much more diverse because anyone can toss a ball and practice on an open space.

The diaper thing is actually pretty useful, just not for babies.
There's a company in Norway that made a similar system for adult diapers in dementia care facilities, so that nurses get a notification for when a patient needs their diaper changed.
This frees up so much time for the nurses that don't have to go and check on all the patients.
I can see this being used on dementia wards in hospitals and rest homes. They always have limited staff. But a parent? How are you going to form a bond with a child when you're being a virtual cyber parent? A hands-on parent should be close enough to smell the poop and pee, and know about when to check the diaper. Unless of course, you're trying to keep an eye on your day care center.
NOW 2019 looks like paradise before the storm.
