- Here's how the Avatar Frontiers of Pandora Ikran scene was created! Ubisoft’s Avatar game offers us all the chance to visit the lush, forested homeworld of the Na’vi. And, at the very top of a floating mountain, you’ll be able to live out your own version of an iconic Avatar scene: taming and flying an Ikran.
But just as important as the Avatar Ikran scene and flight is the journey to the mountain’s summit; a climb full of incredible views, plants with strange abilities, and puzzles to solve. That climb is the centrepiece of the Avatar Take Flight quest, one of the Frontiers of Pandora milestone missions. It’s the work of dozens of developers, and we’ve spoken to several of them to find out how they made it.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora release date is December 7, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Amazon Luna.

As a fan of James Cameron and the Avatar movies this really feels spot on in many ways! Extremely happy they're not making it a Far Cry clone or something. This could be the start of an entirely new franchise and shift for movie tie-in titles.

All the people whining about Far Cry when the game hasn't even been released yet & the closest it looks to Far Cry is in terms of it being an fps & base takedown missions lmao, like the world is totally different & there are several other mechanics. We can dump every fps game as Far Cry then lol. People be hating on the game just because it's made by Ubisoft lol.
