    Such a lovely video. You are so observant and patient. Your birds wellbeing always comes first, and rightly so. No wonder you always have such a high success rate with your birds An. Loved this, I hope the eggs are fertile and you get some lovely babies x

    I would love a video of how you clean your cages. Their so clean and I'm interested in putting fake grass in my large cage as well. Thank you for your beautiful videos.

      Oh gosh- thanks but there is nothing special about cleaning. Although I am going to get a steam cleaner next week and that should make cleaning super effective (well when cages are empty) other than that it is just scrubbing. The grass I take outside and clean with enzymatic cleaner and a hose. I have two sets of them that I swap so one can hang to air dry.

    fgantastic birds and set up.
    what is the powder you used to dust the frozen larva you used.?
    thanks

    • @Echosaviary
      @Echosaviary  Před 2 měsíci

      thank you! That is a product called available insectivores dust from Eutrolabs. It makes up for the nutrient deficiencies in larvae (and has added bonus that it separates the larvae into individuals instead of clumping when frozen. I dust it on live insects as well like mealies (which is the intended purpose).
