    I got it for £300 as these was an offer of an £80 cash back offer back in February plus I traded in my Samsung S8 for £200 so the s10 lite is £579 here in the UK so that’s why I got it for £300 a smashing deal & today I’m just getting a software upgrade to the one ji 2.1 with amazing camera improvement, but the camera was already great, best deal i ever had, the phone is beautiful specially with the snapdragon 855 & 8 gb RAM I love it cheers and peace ✌️

      @@AndroidDigest thank you very much for your answer! Had the opportunity to test the S10 lite now for a day. The phone is excellent, great build quality and awesome screen, great feel in the hand. But I also compared the camera side by side with my current daily driver, the Samsung S8. And as crazy as it sounds: the S8 camera overall is superior for stills and only a little behind in videography. My opinion of course and only comparing main rear camera. The S10 lite was completely off with reds and then I had the blur issue, as it has been stated by you as well. Nevertheless, the camera is great but at least for me the older flagship camera of the S8 is still better in terms of photo quality of the main camera. I sent the S10 lite back, but it was hard 😉 really liked the phone overall. Maybe gcam will fix these issues in the end but I couldn't find a stable version quickly...

      @@fazalniyazmogral4748 I talked about it in the review. I have time stamps in the description so you can jump around. From my experience it would be very very close to the normal S10 in camera quality, some people might say it's better, it's not the best camera ever, not better then the Pixel 4 but it's definitely flagship quality

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  Před 4 lety +1

      @@fazalniyazmogral4748 yes, loud. But it's only 1 speaker on the bottom. Probably one of the negatives. It doesn't have speakers on the top and bottom, just one loud one on the bottom, it's still good, but not as good as the s10 or some others, so the speaker is a minor weakness

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  Před 4 lety +2

      @@fazalniyazmogral4748 in my opinion they will be pretty equal..iPhone SE basically has the camera of an iPhone 8, which was released in 2017. Sure it was one of the best cameras in 2017, but in 2020, it falls back, right around where the S10 Lite is.
      the iPhone SE (2020 version) is an extremely small screen with gigantic bezels. The S10 Lite has a huge 6.7" screen. The iPhone SE has a an extremely small battery, less then 2,500 mAh. The S10 Lite has a 4,500 mAh battery. It has up to 45w charging. In the box it comes with a 25w fast charger. The iPhone SE only comes with an 18w fast charger.
      The iPhone SE has a faster processor, probably an equal camera, and it's also cheaper at $399.... but it only has 3 GB if RAM compared to 8 GB of RAM in the S10 Lite. And the S10 Lite has 128GB of storage on it's cheapest model.
      I'll say if you don't care about screen size and you love the Apple eco system. The iPhone SE is a really good bargain for those people.
      But if you are simply looking at specs, the S10 Lite is a lot better and it even comes with a great design, with small bezels, a huge screen, more storage, ram, battery life, and it has an in screen fingerprint reader

    @Android Digest, i subscribed your channel once i saw your review, very good and honest reviews. May i know if normal usage, will the S10 Lite battery life last for 2 days? I am currently using the Note10 regular with a 3500mah battery with Exynos 9825 which my country has been selling. But the battery life is awful for my Note10, have been using since Jan 2020 just 4 months. I need a phone which can last longer in battery life. I have been reading reviews that S10 Lite really had an efficient Snapdragon 855 with a big battery to complement it. In my country, S10 Lite is the first phone from Samsung that comes with the Snapdragon 855 processor.

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  Před 4 lety +1

      What you are saying is accurate... It is more power efficient, much bigger battery.
      Hard to say though... 2 day usage really will be close and depends on the person. I'm the type of person that burns through an average battery in half a day. And this phone lasted me over a day, so it depends on your usage. You should DEFINITELY consider this phone though, about as good as your battery will get

    Between Oneplus 7 pro and this phone, which one should I choose? I prefer model that focusing on performance and camera

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  Před 4 lety +22

      The performance will be pretty similar. Same processor. Same RAM. Honestly the cameras will probably be similar too 😂.
      The One Plus 7 Pro has a better refresh rate on the screen which will make things seem snappier. But it also has a smaller battery, and the refresh rate will use even more battery.
      A minor detail but the One Plus 7 Pro is an older phone, so long term it will see less software support. The S10 Lite released with Android 10, so you can expect to see Android 11 and Android 12. Can't say the same for the One Plus.
      The One Plus 7 Pro is water resistant but no IP rating. The Samsung S10 Lite has no IP rating either, maybe isn't water resistant at all.
      In the end it's close. I'd argue performance and camera will be very similar. Size is similar.
      The S10 Lite will give better battery performance, 500 mAh more+it drains less battery, the One Plus 7 Pro has a better refresh rate on the screen so I'm a way it performs better, because it looks more pleasing to the eye to scroll on it.
      S10 Lite will have slightly better long term software support.
      These two phones are pretty much neck-and-neck in my opinion. In reality the OnePlus 7 Pro is probably and ever so slightly better phone in some aspects but a smaller battery and worse software support even the odds. It's 50/50 to me depending on your preferences

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  Před 4 lety +1

      That's a really really hard choice. I used to only like really small phones, but when I got a small clear case, the s10 lite changed things.
      In the settings you can change it, to allow you to drag the top notification bar down anywhere on your screen by swiping down, and the phone isn't super wide, it's tall, which made it surprisingly easier to hold in one hand, a very thin case is a must though. I made a video on cases and shared my case that made it feel easy to hold (esr clear case).
      Anyway, yeah, a 3,000 maH is way different then this beast, s10 Lite is definitely a better phone if you can get over the screen. Amazon doesn't charge re stocking fees and I think it's still on sale so you can always try it out. Link in the description for the US Model

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  Před 3 lety

      It could be. It really depends on the price.
      I think the 512gb version is a little overkill. It has an sd card slot so you might as well buy a version with less space.
      It really just depends on price. If you find this for $500 or less in US it's a great value.
      But if this phone is close in price to something like the Galaxy S21, you might want to get that instead.

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  Před 4 lety +3

      Both are plenty smooth. If you have a Snapdragon 855 or 865 it will perform smoothly.
      Your choice will depend on what you value. The S10 Lite will have superior battery life, the One Plus 8 has a faster refresh rate on the screen, it makes everything you do feel smoother.. It has a slightly better processor but costs a lot more too... but the refresh rate comes at the cost of battery life. The S10 Lite will have good performance and be smooth with a great battery.
      The S10 Lite is the better value right now, crazy sales going on. But it won't have that faster refresh rate. So it's a tough decision for sure

      Those are two completely different choices 😂.
      The iPhone SE has a faster processor, and it's only $399, which is crazy. Still has a good camera and should still have some water resistance.
      But the phone is EXTREMELY small. The S10 Lite is HUGE. 6.7" for the S10 Lite. The iPhone SE 2 is small with huge bezels. The battery is also much much smaller. Camera is probably pretty close between the two.
      As far as software. It's preference. Android is far more customizable. iOS is easy to use and straight to the point. It's about what you prefer.
      I prefer the customization. So I'll never choose an iPhone. But I recommend iPhones to people because they are good phones.
      Simply put: If you want a really good small phone that's easy to use, and want to save a little more money, the SE is the best choice. If you want a larger 6.7" screen with better battery life and a phone that is more customizable pick the s10 lite..

But my biggest thing that made me really like this device is the battery life I work 12-hour shifts and I forgot to bring my power banks with me to work and this phone made it through the entire day from 9:00 a.m. till I got off at work at 9:00 p.m. I'm a power user, I'm on my phone streaming music watching videos and surfing the web but this phone took it all like a champ mind you I had no way of charging the phone for over 12 hours and I got home at 9:30 that night after leaving for work at around 8:30 that morning and I still had 10% battery when I got home the phone made it all the way through the day with all the heavy usage I put on it I was impressed I really like this device and I do recommend it if you want a quality device for not a lot of money

      The S10 Lite was as low as like $430 the other day though. The One Plus is around $700 or $800. The best value is definitely the Samsung. The best phone is One Plus.
