Being short has many advantages. You can hurt them very very much, you can scare people, you can pass as a 12 year old at restaurants or whatever, you can fit in small places. The bad parts for me is that I'm used as an armrest, having to be in pictures, having to be an errand person, being ignored, ect

I’m a tall... I was always the tallest in every single grade. I was taller than my teacher in 3rd grade and every year after. I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Nice to see the other side. I think sometimes shorties and lankies annoy each other without even realizing it. I’ll make sure the short people can stand in front of me at the next concert I go to... once the plague passes.

Traveling IS easy, tons of leg space in any car, airplane, wherever.
As a 5ft2 (and a half!) woman with friends who are like 6ft +, including my boyfriend who I visit in a country where the advrege hight is way taller who is a foot taller than me and my other friends from there
I relate, so hard.. with the walking one. I'm also disabled so I walk slow anyway, but trying to keep up with them is so hard I literally have to JOG to keep up with them. I'm not joking, if they are walking at their normal/ slightly fast pace I have to jog to keep up.

SO RELATABLE! my husband and i are both 5'3... but can't really relate to having people think we're teens. we're 31/30 years old, only only get aged to about 22-24 when people guess. i'm okay with being short, but then again, i guess more people expect females to be short anyways? i've always joked that once i stopped growing up, i started growing out, and genetics blessed me with a set of grapefruits LOL

I feel like I couldn't play volleyball in college because I'm short. There are a lot of ways that short people are discriminated against because they are short. Yet it's acceptable b/c "height isn't that big of a deal."

Everybody at my school told me I could never be good at boxing because of my height. I then went on to train for months, beat everyone including people three weight classes above me (by knockout), and am now proficient in three martial arts and will be an instructor within the next 6 months. I did all that in just 3 years. Height doesn't mean a thing when you're willing to show people who's boss and stand up to them. Don't settle for being second best over things you can't control, people

I'm only 5'1 which as a guy makes me look like in a constant 12 year old. When I pass most people think I'm a little boy or something. I just wish people wouldn't value specifically men on their height so much. I get it a lot of women prefer men who are taller but I've been told I'm less of a man because I am short and in society terms I'm effectively worthless just because of my height. Idk how that's not a toxic view. A coworker literally told me that historically men have always been taller then women so it is just wrong to date shorter men...Like that's so stupid because historically women should be in the kitchen making sandwiches and being baby incubators but I didn't say that because it's makes no sense to bring up. You have a preference that's fine but you don't have to absolutely destroy short men for it. And I'm not just throwing shade at women, men do it to regarding height
I had a friend who's 6'6" visit me recently. I had to yell up at him when we were out. (Which also triggered my voice dysphoria because my voice goes higher when I have to raise it.) It wasn't fun for him either because he couldn't hear what was going on in the land of hobbits either.
... When we said goodbye at the airport, my friend knelt down to hug me. (We tried with him standing when we first met and I couldn't even reach his shoulder with my arm outstretched.)

As a sufferer of depression and asthma. You make me so happy that it's almost like my depression leaves my body. You are not what many people would tolerate but I would and I do. You seem like you dont really have many problems but i can imagine you do. You are such and inspiration to me and may other people. You also taught me more about being trans. I myself are not trans but Iearnt more about the LGBT community. You are so inspiring to me... and I cant explain how much you've helped me though depression. I love you Noah

Being short has it’s perks,in the part of Boston where I live there is a skating rink that if you’re short enough you can get in for free,my family would always lie about my age whenever we ate out so that my meal was cheeped,and you don’t need to hold the casket when you and your friends are filming a music video because you’re too short to reach it. I'm short and a teacher, and once one of my HUGE 8th graders picked me up and it was humiliating.
I once went to a concert where I had a guy who was about 7 feet tall (at least!) and very broad-shouldered (seriously, he was built like a stereotypical Viking or Teutonic knight) standing up in front of me (even though we had seats!) the entire time. I stood on my seat and STILL couldn't see over his head, but if I leaned over far enough, I could barely see over his shoulder. I paid $70 for that concert ticket and couldn't even see the band performing. Being short at concerts really, really sucks.
