AirPods Pro have been one of my favorite tech purchases. I literally have used them almost everyday since I purchased them. I can’t wait to finally get some fresh ones when the 2 drops!

@@RZArekta pretty damn scummy, but if you are gonna do it be wary of Identifying information being on your receipt, you are at a high likelihood of getting caught with the paper trail, and target doesn’t bust you right away, they track you over time and collect evidence and will get you once it exceeds a certain value

Yeah I don’t understand why marques thought it would be included? It’s a new sensor why would they include that on the budget Apple Watch when they already don’t include the old blood oxygen and ecg sensors?
Bought the AirPods Pro’s 2 as soon as they became available. I use my current AirPods for hours daily. The better performance and improved battery life, and find my for the case is very welcomed

The temperature sensor is not in the new SE model. The only difference with the first generation of SE are crash detection and the new chip

As someone with an SE 2 coming from an SE, it’s perfect. I work in manufacturing so having an expensive watch is ideal, but it also just does everything you want a smart watch to do while being very smooth, with almost all the features you’d need as a (kid) or a young adult. I don’t need to monitor anything more really than my heart rate for the fun of it or knowing how stressed I am.

preordered the Apple watch SE 2. Don't see myself using the ECG and Blood oxygen sensors. Glad they used the superfast S8 chip - should help with future proofing.
Chose the se2 for the same reason. Also didn’t know that they have the same battery life as the main line

Note on the audio in the event: your tweet reminded me of a few years back when Apple added self-sufficient cellular on the Series 3, the keynote had a live call from someone on a paddle board in Lake Tahoe and Jeff Williams was so proud of this, he went rogue and was like “no you all need to understand how incredible this engineering is, the audio from this shot is coming straight from the watch, and this call is live”
So no surprise Apple is out to flex their real world audio recording skills.
When I’m looking into new products, I always come to listen to you guys first before buying.
Playing fetch with the dog always triggers the fall notification on my watch, very annoying. I’m sure there’ll be easy ways to trigger crash detection
For me this event was all about the AirPods Pro, the first gen was my favorite piece of tech and I think the new ones will sell like chocolate croissants !!!

I've been very hard on my AirPods Pro, got them at launch and use them for hours each day. They sometimes have small little issues with noise cancellation buzz or making a weird popping sound randomly every couple hours. Battery life is starting to fall off. Can't wait for my AirPods Pro 2 to arrive. I plan to keep my old ones and use them in situations I wouldn't ever use new ones, like mowing or other things where I get dirty or might lose them.
For me, AirPods Pro are my third most important device, behind the Mac and iPhone. I need my Mac for work, and need my iPhone for travel, and I need my AirPods Pro all the time.
It's a known issue and replacement is covered by the service program. Look it up

I love the transparency mode on my AirPods Pro, so any update would be welcome. Probably will be waiting for a sale to upgrade though

Just pointing out the sheep-like mentality and making other consumers aware it’s really not amazing. Competition came out with similar technology years before Apple ever did. Apple headphones also still don’t have as good sound quality as most competitors. It’s largely convenience and integration that sells.
@@On2thakneppz1 I mean yeah it’s convenient for me to have AirPods because of how well iOS works with them. I’m personally happy with my AirPods and think this is a cool upgrade. They might not be the best or first earbuds to do some things but they work just fine for me personally. You think people don’t know about other earbuds and stuff? The answer is no. They simply just like what Apple products offer and like when the brand they prefer upgrades their stuff. Just like you have both ur Sony and Shure headphones and prefer those over Apple.🤷♂️

I can’t believe Apple glossed over dual sim functionality in their new WatchOS 9 release! I have a business line and personal line on my iPhone and when someone calls either it’ll show a “P” or a “B” before the number. The Apple Watch used to show the same. Now I have to take my phone out of my pocket or bag to see what line is being called. What a HUGE oversight in their latest update.

I’ll loose the case and still not find it with the app because the tone of the AirTag and AirPods etc, is absolutely useless if it is anywhere you don’t know where it is. Forget it if it’s in blankets or lunchbox or something..
Working on a yacht, and basically wearing these as ear defenders, the last gen AirPods Pro had adaptive transparency mode but appears the latest chip will improve this. Ive accidentally hit transparency mode instead of noise cancellation when a very loud engine has been running next to me and it has adapted.

Same. I’ve made phone calls on AirPods Pro 1s from an engine room with a pair of MTU 16V2000s running. I couldn’t have heard someone talking loudly next to me but apparently I was still audible over the phone. I thought it would be funny to call this guy back with the AirPods and his speaker would just be blasting garbled sounds from the crazy loud diesels. But no he heard me just fine.

Sensor Fusion is key for crash detection to activate. Data from multiple sources running through an algorithm and neural nets.
When I saw the lanyard holder in the announcement I thought (and wish) it was an aux like in what the new LG earbuds have. It allows you to plug them into a wired device and not have to pair them to other devices.
I didn't forget the SE and Pro 2 but I still bought the Series 8
So will it call the emergency if you go on a coaster? 🤔

I loved my AirPods Pro but they just didn’t fit my ears even with memory foam tips.
I would love it if the fit has been modified / improved.

I think my ear canal starts a bit deeper and the stem on the AirPods would prevent them going in deep enough to seat properly.
I’m not sure that new tips will help with that. But I hope it does 🙏

wait, they said that crash detection uses microphone data so it won't sos if you're doing something else.
I find it interesting that Apple's updates to the watch this year are mostly untestable. Crash Detection. Satellite messaging. Retrospective cycle tracking. Most journalist get a week with the watches and no one is going to be able to test those features (for obvious reasons) before the watch launches. "We trust they work" is what every review has to say. So consumers are basically buying a Series 7 watch with some hopefully working features. I don't know if Apple did this intentionally or not, but it happened.

Your video and commentary also has me considering why Apple hasn’t marketed their baseline entry watches (data and cellular enabled) as an interesting (and safer) interface option for children, as opposed to a much more expensive phone 🤓

Apple does market them for children, with family setup.

Actually, the most exciting news from Sep event was the announcement of volume control on the AirPods stem. That’s the most revolutionary improvement compared to iPhone 14. It takes “courage “ to acknowledge past mistake 😎
Was that even a mistake or apple being apple? We all are aware that they do things differently to stand out. I will never understand who said yeah let's get rid of volume control on earphones. Since they can do it on their watch. Clearly herd the backlash they are good earphones but that was just ridiculous. Every earphone I have encountered has volume control integrated in them. Courageous not in my opinion Courageous would be them not adding that
it has a plastic back, se1 has a ceramic back, its a deal breaker for me and a regression

@@BlazinChaldo13 because it's a regression, ceramic is way better than plastic. durability is questionable and prone to deformations, and discolouration over time along with scratches. I would prefer my skin to always touch ceramic as ceramic is almost chemically inert and has a premium feel. I don't know how can they regress like that and nobody bats an eye
Just a word of warning, if you're worried about scratches, the aluminum body of these watches is fairly prone to getting dented/scuffed if it gets hit against stuff with daily use. The plastic back nobody can see is the least of your worries, IMO.

Comments like "Bucketlist Check" (In response to being in person for the 'good morning' from Tim Cook), sometimes make me wonder how MKBHD, Marcus and friends, views Apple and how it might play into their biases when reviewing products. I think that Marcus tries to be objective when doing a review of apple products, which is really good for us, the consumer; especially when it puts things into a well rounded perspective. It also makes me wonder how people within his team, might push the directive of the videos and how that might affect our perception when it comes to making decisions with what tech to buy. It's kind of funny, right, because CZcamsr's like MKBHD can really control, at least to some degree, the way with which we view these products, but we don't necessarily think about the biases and motivations behind the videos. Again, Marcus tries to be objective, but that only goes so far, especially when a video is sponsored. Anyway, love the videos. They always keep my attention.

I'm kinda glad gen-x didn't have watches with these features. The way we jumped off of houses, trees & doing stunts on our bikes would've had that watch going crazy. The way we would get on swings & swing as high as we could & jump off & hit the ground. That watch wouldn't know what to think.
