Jocelyn, the Crazy Lamp Lady is fun ❤
Hello George looking great love the tie 👋
Thanks! It'd been with me a long time, but now it's going to a new home
Fun video George! Thanks for sharing!
That ashtray would work well as a cat dish. I think I would use it that way 😺
Cute kitchen kitch timer 😂
Very interesting and diverse assortment of items. Thanks for the video and information.
You bet!
Glad to see you know about the Vancouver Flea Market !
There are not as many vintage and antique sellers as there used to be, but it is still worth a visit. I was there a few weeks ago and came home with some very good finds at excellent prices for resale.
Fyi, I finally saw the movie "Thoroughly Modern Millie" a couple years ago, since Mary Tyler Moore starred, and boy howdy, the plot was disturbing!! I was surprised that this movie was released at that time. Loved the scene, though, in which MTM is showed that the malfunctioning elevator could be coaxed into moving if one danced in it. I enjoyed the movie.
I honestly have to agree! It seemed really different than I expected. The dance-motion elevator was a neat touch though
By George nice shirt n tie u wear it well
💜✨💜 Thank You
Good to see you here Yvon!
The Sasha B Bear reminds me a lot of Howard Pierce Bears!
Yes, designed about the same time with a more brutalist flair
❤ The colors
I like color!
Interesting finds 👌💖✨️
Thank you 😁
My father and twin brother were both born in Battle Creek!!
Cool! My entire family after 1905 were born there
Beautiful items. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
There’s a great Utube video about Fenton glass production. Love your vids!
Cool, thanks!
❤
OMWow!!! This Vase blue feathered..IS Absolutely Stunning..😊
Interesting hearing the history of these pieces.
Thanks! I try to make it more interesting for people to collect these things by interpreting what they are and why people like them!
I have loved Robert Eickholt for years, pulled feather master, and his colours are amazing. I have an egg.
This one is worth a rewatch. I'll follow along on ebay..
Cool! I tried hard to pick interesting bits this time
Those Meissen figurines are really stunning♥️
Aren't they really glamorous? I don't handle a lot of high-end antiques of this nature so it's always fun when they come my way
@@TheAntiqueNomad I know. I love getting the high end antiques-the problem is trying to find the right customer for them! It's nice to hang on to them and appreciate them for a while though.
George!!! You are fabulous in all you !!!! I learn sooooo much from you!!!! Just gotta luv u!!!!
Aww thanks!
Great video George! Thanks for sharing!
I'm so pleased people are responding to these antique and vintage items!
I Learn So much from You..I wish I could send a few photos of Amazing Finds..The labels unreadable and Jewelry Markings I can Not find..🙏🤟🕊
Wow...the Meissen was incredible....and what a wonderful collection.
The Meissen candle sticks are my jam, beautiful. My two cents: Have both be in the first picture of the listing. Each one is so lovely.
You're right, really! But they seem to be popular and going to sell regardless
I sure enjoy this one. What a great variety. Thanks, George!
Thanks! I'm trying to make them something different each time
Goebel made a lot of dolls too, not only the Charlot Byi dolls but also others - and Mainzelmännchen.
True!
Loved the variety!
Us too!
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Love the video! I'm always up for learning new things.
Railroad items still sell even though the population of collectors is aging. I belong to a several facebook groups of RR collectors and I shared a find. I recently had 'lightning strike' for me a second time this year with a piece of railroad china. I'll be telling the story on my facebook page.
Oh fun! I'll try to look for that, it sounds very interesting
💖
Hi, fellow nomad!
What is SMF Vase 5 inches high munger 17.. Black? Named. A Spectacular pained barn scenery.. it sadly has a Tiny ship in the under the top.. it was Fresh, the place I bought it. A Man I seen wasn’t so gentle. I would have seen it. It’s a white color underneath.. and so much more.. A pin of 980.. and other marks abalone and carved man with arms like heed dress..It was my Mother’s-who Collected A LOT of Everything .. If I may ask..I Appreciate All you do. Or else
Items would never come out & be Appreciated.. 🤗👏👏🙏🤟🕊
I'm glad to do it! I like things being appreciated too. SMF is a German mark from just before (and maybe just after) WWI.
@@TheAntiqueNomad Thank YOU. This is soo kind. I didn't even know if you would read this from me.. I fallow you! You are the Best. I am always Learning from you. My Mom knew Everything about Everything. & She retained what Books she had. I have many items from Mom. To the point 1 time a year we went to visit & her king size bed filled atleast 2 or more of Jewelry containers. Her Glass items. Oh she would have loved to watch you. I'm sure you would appreciate her knowledge. 5 years next March she left. An Amazing Loving Woman. I Really Appreciate All you do. All you teach us ALL..🙏🙏🙏
I am interested to hear if the figured candle stick sold. I can't buy them but wonder what the value was
You look very nice, George. I have clicked on the Protonix plug-in and one other item and it says the item has been removed, or is not available. Just a heads up.
I'll ask why! It had a bid just a little bit ago.
Try going in through TheAntiqueNomad on ebay and you can get to it that way.
They need to start at two thousand that's basically a thousand a piece those r extremely rare especially being the condition and a set also those colors r extremely desirable amongst high end antiques dealer's reconsider pricing them so low I have many high end german porcelain antiques I would know because many of mine go to high end auction houses in New York thanks again
Hi, David! I do appreciate there is a high end collector (and dealer) for these, but it seems they are finding a level online that my client will be satisfied to get. I suspect they have much farther to go now that they have cleared the rather low reserve price I had set. This is a chance you take selling directly, while it's true I could get more if a good auction took them, they will also take a sizeable commission, catalogue fees, shipping and insurance, reserve fees, etc.
@@TheAntiqueNomad then u know about the commission that the seller takes and r aware very glad u r wiser then the average Joe 😉
Hi George, you must not have set the bears price right. No reserve but with multiple bids its currently at only $69. So I don't think you started at $99 probably more like $9.99. 😢
Never mind I see you went $49. I covet Sasha B ceramic pieces. 😍
I think I decided at the last minute to BIN at $99 instead
@@TheAntiqueNomad George, I know it's a different video... but I have to say, during the live auction the other day your face was everything. If they need an image for the phrase "Embarrassment of Riches" ... when the purple and blue Fenton hummingbird sold for a ridiculous amount, let's just say... you were not playing poker. Your cheeks were so red and your eyes were boinging like a cartoon from the 70s!
Why don't you keep the cottage cheese pot when a) it was your mothers and b) you like cottage cheese and would use it as you says? Or is kitsch not your style?
I kept enough of my very favorite things of hers that I decided to share it with another collector! I'm also super picky about condition for my own collections.
I have tried to go to your home page to request an apprasial. The Home page will not load. I have tried several times at different times of the day and different days. Is there a problem with your home page?
I'm sorry! Send a direct email to theantiquenomad@gmail.com
Ok, the vertebrae. Nice…not nice.
True but culturally of importance to the makers
I HAVE A HYALYN GREEN RECTANGLE BOWL
HOW MUCH WAS THE GLASS BASKET FROM CANADA ? DID I MISS THE PRICE ?
Still up for sale over $30 now I believe
