Just started this CZcams reseller watching thing. You are only 1 of maybe 2 on this whole platform that keeps its real, no filters no facade. Everyone is after this “smiley face CZcamsr reseller influencer”fake crap. You’ve helped me thru a lot with your videos. Life is a struggle not a sunshine and peaks. You’re a true one bro, I bet you were a musician at some point. I’d free thinkers can see thru all the bullshit and cookie cutter people out there. Keep on fighting the good fight brother. Yeppers! I used to watch a bunch of the Smiley Face KIllahs, but after a while the facades start to crack. It's what happens when they all get together and basically create their own competition. James gives us the basic info and the motivation. That's really the good stuff. All that other 'buy this brand' stuff changes.

Ok James- 1st of all you have educated us all on the ins and out of this platform, and I for one am thankful and appreciative. I had a 34 yr career in music education, have been retired now for about 15 , so this is a fun hobby. Nuff of that… different day new glitch on eBay . Yesterday morning did some end/ sell similar on the desktop, but did not get to finish. So last night decided to finish that batch on the phone. Doing that I found that along with best offers eBay was add a bottom offer price to all of my listings. I have never, never included that. I am capable of deciding how low I want to go and not dependent on eBay to decide that for me and run a possible customer off. This best offer glitch does not show up on what you see from the desktop- only the app. So once again- hard to list daily and grow a store when you have to keep going back to correct eBay that sneaks In Like a little kid and creates havoc on a daily basis. If eBay were a person I don’t know what kind of mental disorder they would be diagnosed with. Very annoying!

Working and selling on ebay is for making money, that's all well and good.. but investing is where you can scale and compound your earnings. Cars are not a good investment generally, you had fun with them but you see they likely did not make you any money, they likely lost you money. You have to invest in things that exceed the 3-7% annual inflation rate to get ahead. Otherwise the drama videos continue on for 20 more years.
Hey man I've been on eBay the whole time as well more than 20 years, I also do not fit in on this planet.
I've been through a lot of ups downs with them.
A couple weeks ago they shut me down. First they put all my money on hold which was quite a bit. Then about a week later even though I have 100% feedback and everything was being delivered on time and showing tracking. They shut my auctions down completely.
Everything starts at one cent kind of deal very similar to what you were doing my friend.
I also have a lot of inventory that I am having trouble getting to.
Well I just wanted to let you know that I think you're good people. I'm hoping they didn't shut you down completely and you have maybe got multiple pages.
I have noticed that the fees have gotten really out of hand in certain categories like way out of hand so I had to get a basic store again.
I see a lot of people doing very well on other auction sites.
Honestly with the amount of inventory that you have behind you you could probably unload it in a couple days on what not.
Well it would take more than a couple days my friend I know.

Ebay is nowhere near what it used to be. Even up to 10 years ago, I was making Twice the $ I'm making now, with Half the work put into it. Ebay has simply put many more obstacles in their Sellers way. They got too big, and to greedy. They lost the soul of what they started as. Unfortunately, that's likely never coming back. Look at the CEOs they hire. None of them have been Ebay Sellers. They come from other companies.
They need to embrace used and pre-owned by at the very least promoting the secondhand market more in some capacity. They want to be known for new items too, that’s all fine and well, but they can’t forget the used market either
I’m with you about who they hire. While it might be unrealistic to think they’ll hire a seller to be CEO, they should come from within the company and also understand the seller side 100 percent
I've been aware of your channel for a few years, but only recently started to listening/watching you--mainly while I'm shipping. I got a challenge for you, James. Sellout one of your five storage areas by any means necessary. How long would it take? How much $ could you make? What could you do with that cash generated or saved that would provide future income outside of online reselling? What can you turn the cleared space into?

100% james there is nothing like waking up every day wanting to work because no matter how much we make as sellers one thing is the same for all we as business owners control if it fails or succeeds and being an everything seller has helped me ENJOY everyday because EVERY day is different when you get up you do not know what items your going to sell which makes it so FUN to get up in the morning and get ready to work MANY who Niche down cant say that, they sell the same things day in and day out so PRO tip if you do not want to get board or discouraged when things are down $$$ wise because you niched down NICHE UP and things will never be dull

Have you gotten on the Bipolar meds? It'll really even your moods out. My friend was very similar, he got highs, and lows. On his lows, he felt the world was coming down over his head. He's alot better now with his meds. He has a better overall quality of life.

There is something about waking up and wanting to go to work, even if it is just to the basement. When I first started teaching, I loved it and loved going to work, but by the end, I was having nightmares about going to work and just felt sick to my stomach thinking about work. I'm still not killing it like you are on ebay, but I am much happier. Onn another note... I just accidentally printed a UPS label on pirateship because it came up as cheapest for a lightweight item. I wasn't paying attention and just hit print, but it sure is a sad day when UPS is less than USPS for smalls. Oh, and if you are going to talk to Peewee, can't we get a peek of his cuteness please?
I had just left my nursing job in military after being used and abused! They were going to charge me 1200 month for medical .. I said no .. see ya! I left there saving 60 miles a day on travel, getting up at 4.30am traveling in Colorado blizzards as we were essential personnel..
I got home and thought I’ll get rid of extra stuff I have on eBay! I listed and sold right away🙏 ping ping .. I couldn’t list fast enough my sell through was 20%! I just cried as this came at the right time as a single parent with a mortgage.. 🙏🙏🙏 it was great until promoted .. but still I cross list now being disabled with long covid at home .. so twice in my life online selling has saved me🙏 I HEAR YOU & I GET EMOTIONAL AT TIMES ALSO..

Good for you for going against what people say and having a success story as well. Many will dream with no actions or follow through so that is commendable. There is another lady that I watch that does reselling who mostly only sells jeans. She was told that jeans is not a good niche and to not do it but she is a success story as well. Sometimes you just have to trust yourself and do what you love. I find your videos very helpful so thank you for showing your day to day life as a reseller and the ups and downs. Good luck on whatever your future holds and whatever path you go down.

We are Gen X!! The generation that can’t see their way out of a paper bag. Not everyone can understand what you’re feeling. They see you but they don’t feel it. We grew up different, we were misunderstood, hated authority, hated the thought of the 9-5, we think out of the box, we don’t follow the crowd, we march to the beat of our own drum. We don’t grow up or age because we don’t feel our age and that’s ok. I just turned 45 but in my mind I’m 25. I will always be a kid with adult responsibilities. I am proud of who I am even tho others might not agree with it. It’s what makes me, me and only I need to understand it…..I get you, I am a female version of you. I cried with you ❤
I needed some real talk today. The site sucks. I had a case against me during time away at the beginning of the month that completely suppressed my store. I noticed missing listings as well. I’m doing a full-reset plus doing a full-inventory. Q4 is going to be a Vendoo investment and while eBay is still king, I can’t rely solely on the king anymore.
eBay right now is popularity contest what i mean by that is that it's easy to work out the obvious items but the not so obvious A.I. is taking it's time picking up for the database, it's ALL run that way now until it gets the data right on these items

You have achieved so much James, 600$ is a fabulous amount , not many earn that ,let alone self employed, dont under estimate your achievements , as you have built up a fabulous store, things change and you will adapt to change with it, you are doing something right to earn what you do ,feel proud of you , as you deserve it , I would rather earn half a regular wage to work for myself as that brings so many more benefits psychologically and physically I believe, you cant measure everything in money alone, so keep going along your path , you are doing great, it cant always be 1000$ days, life has changed but vintage will always sell while there is money about

Hi yes thanks for your videos EBay is for 50 plus gene I think. My son tells me lol 19 they think it’s just crap they are so many platforms to go to Amazon taken over. We knew it was coming. Not sure I can hang out to0 much longer either. I have been selling since 2001 I think we need to mix up what u selling for sure ! 100x same thing which is boring they seem to do well .
