I am still pissed off and sad at the same time that the Eurovison was canceled - it would have been such an exciting year (but ofc health is always the first thing so it was definitely the best decision to cancle it at that moment).
Btw. the Albanian song was originally in Albanian in their national selection, but when she won she unfortunately wanted to translate it into English for the Eurovision...
Fortunately, their entry for 2021 is in Albanian 🥰

I am so stoked that you enjoyed Latvia's song, because honestly, I haven't found anyone in my world who likes it and it's been making me crazy for a whole year. And in 2019, if you remember, the camera work at Latvia's nationals was incredible. There must be a kick-arse film school or something there.
I too stanned the hell out of Latvia's entry. So ambitious, respect. And the official music video is brilliant!

Latvia's song is fantastic. A year on it sounds just as good as the first time listen.
For me it's Georgia, I really liked the dark guitar sound.

Thanks for the feedback! You can literally see the moment while watching Georgia that I get what they’re saying. It was epic to call out the Big 5 and the contest itself through a song in the contest.💚✌️
Also, concerning the copyright issues - what I see other reactors do is simply have the video on screen (sometimes a picture of the artist) and have the audio come from the laptop/ computer itself. So it's not neatly edited in the video. Maybe something to think about for countries like Cyprus, Greece, Israel, and Belarus! :)
Side note: My favourite song from Albania's nationals for 2020 was Kamela Islamaj "Me ngjyros" (Translates as 'paint me' I believe). Her dress and hair was amazing.
I am so glad that you are back Jake and I hope you are feeling better. In my opinion, you have the best Eurovision reaction channel on youtube. Your reactions are genuine, you explain your opinions very well and you always try to find the positives for each song/country :)
It is such a shame though, that you are not allowed to react to the full songs anymore (sometimes not even a part of it). I know it is not the performers fault, but it is almost a reason for me not to vote for them.
We also have quite similar tastes btw, both in this year and previous editions. My winner for this year is Bulgaria :)

Yes you are right, that would not be fair. I guess frustration got the better of me haha. Oh btw, if you are interested, Arilena Ara actually did make a version of her song in Albanian, called "Shaj". I also feel that it is much better in Albanian. If you have time left, I also recommend a second song by her: "Nentori". It is at least as good in my opinion and you can see her live vocals.

It was really hard I love Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece & Latvia so it was hard to choose between them.

I actually like most of group 6, (not Austria, but that's fine), Georgia being by underdog favorite, and Latvia being the queen like she is. I would like you to react to: Tusse - Voices (Sweden 2021) and also Eric Saade - Every minute, Dotter - Little Tot, Klara Hammarström - Beat of Broken Hearts and Behöver inte dig idag - Clara Klingenström (all these songs are my favourites in this year’s Melodifestivalen). The Mamas - In The Middle were good too!
Weird coincidence that all the countries in this group were (and will be again) semi 2 countries! Supergirl would have opened the semi and Still Breathing was going to close (with Tears Getting Sober right before it).

My rankings:
1: LATVIA! The only one with a live performance, and ABSOLUTELY OUT THERE!!! Great voice, the instrumental breaks reminded me of Skrillex. I'm sure it would be divisive, but I LOVED it!!!
2. Bulgaria: Reminded me a little of Billie Eilish. Emotional and gorgeious.
3. Albania: Good song, well sung. There was a performance video which was better than what you watched, and I expect the staging would be done right.
4. Georgia. Absolutely trolling the automatic five (UK, Spain, Italy, France, Germany). Rock voices are needed in this contest, and his was strong.
5. Austria. I enjoyed the song, especially the rhythm changes, but not as strong as the others.
6. Greece. Meh. Cute song, and that's it. Cute won't go far in Eurovision.
Can't wait for your semifinals and finals.

You are so likeable and natural as a person and I personally love that. Maybe you'd try to change the thumbnails(I don't know if it's called like that) of your videos as you did a year ago. I mean they showed what you will be watching and that was much more encouraging for a random person than the flags of the country. If you agree with me change them a little when you'll be doing a 2021 series. I'd love to see more people on your channel and that's why I'm trying to help. I think you definitely deserve a decent audience:)

From these 6 the only ones I care about are Latvia and Georgia, my 2nd and 5th respectively. And the guy from Georgia was talking about the big 5 in Eurovision. I loved the Albanian song when it was in Albanian, but I don't like the English version.

Neev and "Dancing In The Stars" is a song that MUST be heard by the world at this time. Truly beautiful orchestration and possibly the saddest lyrics i have heard in years. I truly recommend you hear this masterpiece. (Especially as Portugal has never selected a song in English and would be a shame if you miss it)
