And now we need to stop Russia agressin on Donbass to get total freedom from ex-big-brother. And now I listen only ukrainian music and ukranian singers! I love it so much! apparently, also in regard to the quality of Ukraine's entries, with Romania, Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan failing to qualify this year, Ukraine is the one of only two countries left to have perfect attendance in the Grand Final since the semi-finals were introduced and this is right from winning the very first year the semis were introduced (2004). The only other country with perfect attendance is Australia, but this was only their fourth year as opposed to Ukraine's 14th in the semi-finals era. I see you've already reacted to another iconic Ukrainian entry, "Dancing Lasha Tumbai," but I'm still working my way down my Watch Later list so i haven't seen it yet. Hope you liked it, cuz it's another of my all time favorites lol. Other standout Ukrainian entries are Shady Lady (2008) and Gravity (2013)

Loved Russlanas energy but Lane moje- performance touched my heart. Love by the way that i get to do this trip down the Eurovision memory lane with Jakes face reacting like seeing it all the first time! Thank you Jake for making it fresh! Your reaction to Finnish win was hilarious! Love from Finland 😊

Ukraine has won Eurovision only twice. We has been participating in the competition only since 2003. Interestingly, Ukraine won the Eurovision Song Contest for the second year after its debut in the contest, no one before or after managed to surpass this achievement. Except for Switzerland, which won Eurovision in the first contest after Eurovision foundation.
But also we twice took second place and once third. And also Ukraine is the only country in the history of Eurovision, which has always participated in the finals in all competitions in which it participated.

I have been listening to this song long before I learn english, and I always thought she was speaking only in english, and even when I learned english, although I did not understand most of the song, I still thought it was in English, till a month ago (I know english for more than 5 years...)... I was so captured by the song, I didn't realise it was in ukranian, till I saw a video about winners that sung in a language other than english...
