Hi Jake, I am glad to see you back! I would like to take advantage of your platform to talk about what is happening where I live. I am an Italian beginning my 4th week of smartworking and my 2d in full quarantine, living near Milano. There are people I care about having family on the verge of death or in fear of having been infected. I URGE everybody to take this situation seriously to not end up in our type situation, which is dramatic (more than 26.000 infected). Our hostpitals in the north (which are excellent) are about to collapse. Nurses and doctors are starting to get infected and and to die themselves. There is a lack of equipment (gloves, masks everything). And we MUST stay home to save ourselves and all the people we love. Our fathers, husbands, children, friends. It not true that covid19 is a problem only for the elderly. There are many people in their 30ies and 40ies fighting for their lives (and losing). My life consists of going out with the dog twice, with surgical gloves and masks (not even the correct ones, because they cannot be found anywhere. And I am one of the lucky ones that actually managed to get gloves and masks. I have 8 masks.. they should be thrown away after 12 hours... not an option. Think about that many have to go to work and cannot get a freaking mask ANYWHERE) and sunglasses. And when I come back home I must disinfect my dog's leash, mobile phone, sunglasses, hands, scarf and so on. We have to stay at 1metre distance minimun, not touch, not hug, not kiss. In some towns they have so many deaths that they don't have space in the morgues and have to place the bodies in churches (and btw, of course there are no funerals, no rest for anybody). These people die alone, because nobody can even go near the hospitals, not even family. We do our best to keep our spirits up (with musical flashmobs and so on), because NOTHING can break our characters and our historical resilience, but it is really hard. So please, please... understand that this is serious, and do what you are told, follow the rules. Please, stay home and BE SAFE ❤🇮🇹 On a fun note: if you haven't seen Sanremo, please go find all performances of Achille Lauro 's Me ne frego. He shook the hell out of the traditional "old" sanremo audience. Their wigs fell off 🇮🇹
Thank you for your story. It is heartbreaking. ;( Don't forget your dog's paws. You can buy shoes for dogs, so that you can easily take them off when you get home. (I am trying to self isolate as much as possible).
Karin Seregni Thank you so much for sharing what has to seem like an impossible situation right now. You are correct that Italy has some of the best hospitals in the world. Hearing that they are under equipped and being pushed to the breaking point should definitely worry all of us. Your fate will be the same fate as a lot of us around the world. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to bring more awareness to you, to Italy, or in general. I’m gonna pin this comment so others can see and perhaps come up with a way to offer you assistance of some sort.💚✌️🇮🇹
Our prayers go to Italy. It's really unfortunate that you had to suffer from initial lack of action by the government and now the world is using Italy as a catastrophic example. I cannot imagine the scenes there and the crippling effect this will have on your beautiful country's economy. In Ireland, I must compliment our government for decisive action in closing schools etc relatively quickly but we too like the rest of the world are still vulnerable. Please listen to your leaders everyone and stay safe! Prayers to you all

PURE EMOTION!!!! And it's even better live! When I first saw his San Remo performance I was just in awww. I was left breathless at least 3 times throughout the song and by the end got misty eyed! When I saw the video clip it didn't have the same impact, but it's still amazing, still my No1!!

This is the anthem of 2020! My favourite Eurovision song this year, if we have a contest this year, then this will get my vote. It's time to bring the contest back to Italy!
Support to all the people in Italy and abroad! I was impressed with their entry from the very moment it was selected.I admire Italians for staying positive and singing. We will all get through this together.Lyrics have much deeper meaning now.Italy you deserve to win this year not just because of this situation but because you are serving quality every single year!
Speaking of Francesco Gabbani, he returned to Sanremo this year and came second! He and Diodato seemed to be great friends too! Both are amazing! Thank you for this reaction! Fai rumore is certainly a beautiful song and deserves all the love and success it's getting!
The only song deserving of the win this year in my opinion. There are some other good songs, but nothing that comes close to the beauty and emotion of Fai Rumore
I have 6 or 7 favourite entries this year, but if someone asks, the Italian one is the best for me This song is so beautiful and so pure.. I don't know.. always goosebumps when I listen to it❤
I was waiting for your reaction, and finally you did it, I love your videos ❤ Thank you for your love, we are a strong Country and everything is gonna be alright 🇮🇹 hugs from Italy 💚
I just love this one. It's been a while since Sanremo took place but Fai Rumore has stuck with me. I constantly catch myself humming it during the day. Diodato's voice is pure magic and the amount of raw emotion he is able to project with it is astounding. Plus this chorus is so highly impactful it leaves me speechless every time. I love this entry I always love Italian entries. It's wonderful to know that they won't disappoint. Sending all the love and support for Italy in this trying time all the way from Poland. Please take care of yourself and your loved ones ♥️♥️♥️
dangi79 As you should. Maybe we can work on a Eurovision themed event in Italy with all proceeds going to the Italian Red Cross once things settle down again. You’re not getting rid of me so easily.💚✌️🇮🇹
I've listened to this song every day since I first heard it. The San Remo performance with the orchestra is worth watching too. Italy seem to always know how to make painful experiences beautiful. It gives me hope.
Worth watching if RAI weren't complete idiots and kept the CZcams videos or let other people upload them. : ( Apart from going to their official website and scanning throught the 5 hour-video of that Sanremo night, there's no other way to watch the live performance of this song.
One of my favourite entries!! If Diodato ran away with the win out of nowhere, I'd be happy. I'm so glad you liked it too! I did see a clip of people singing this particular song out of the windows in one neighbourhood- beautiful and fitting.
Thank you all for your nice words for Italy! ❤️ We are really struggling forced to stay at home, always hoping that infection rate would rise down. We try our best to think positive, follow the rules and try to give the feeling to our families and friends that they are not alone. Matteo Bongiorno Thank you. I’m sorry for making you wait so long and for what you’re going through. Please take care of yourself. Italy has been the bravest country in the face of this virus.💚✌️🇮🇹
Such an amazing song. The voice , the music , the words (I understand Italian). Just beautiful. And I agree with every little word you said and reacted to, Jake ! 10/10 without any doubt in my opinion :)
Italy: really emotional song. Makes sense now with the lockdown going on in some countries (including Italy). If you wanna see something cool, someone posted this on CZcams of people in balconies singing to this song during the lockdown.
I love how genuine your reactions are, Jake. This is such an incredible song, and Diadato's voice is something special. When his full voice comes out at the beginning of the chorus, it can't help but touch you. The way the Italians have embraced this song, singing it out of their balconies is an amazing thing to see. I would like to think it would make some impact on the Eurovision voting, both from the juries and televoting. This is a song I cannot stop listening to. Not only is it my favorite Eurovision song for the year, it has also become my favorite song for the year. It's a shame we won't be able to see how well it places, now that ESC 2020 has been canceled.
I still find myself playing this on loop, even if it was one of the earliest to be selected. Something about this song just hits you in the feels, even if you dont understand the language.
Sanivde And his live performance was even better. Just WOW. ❤️ RAI has removed Sanremo's performances from CZcams, but you can take a look here: czcams.com/video/H5fmPBIFE6A/video.html Enjoy 😉
This song was written by Diodato about his ex, Levante. She is also a singer and was also competing against him in the 2020 Sanremo Festival. She was rooting for him to win the contest
Kobi1111111 He wrote the song about his ex and the song it's now became a hymn for the situation that is in Italy (with corona). I saw a video, made in Italy, where people were singing this song from their homes. This was emotional and sad in the same time. Italy you have all our love and support from Romania🇹🇩🇮🇪
So happy you are back Jake. Really missed you. Enjoying the ESC music together with you will at least help me forget the current situation for a while. Love Italian and this ballad is just so emotional and beautiful.
My absolute favorite of this year's contest from the first time I heard it at San Remo! I share your love and thoughtfullness for the italian people these days, Jake. May we all come through this💛 Forza Italia🇮🇹 Greetings from Norway
In my top 5 definitely. Sanremo was great this year, many interesting and diverse songs. Love Italian music. Thank you, Jake, for reminding us there can be optimism and love amist tragedy. Love your reaction..
This song is about the end of a love due to lack of communication. He is now alone and silent, but she still rumbles in his head and heart ("fai rumore" means "you make noise", but I think "rumbles" is more poetic). He tries to forget her, but then he remembers her, he walks aimless but his feet take him to their special places. He's not sure if it's better the rumbles inside him or the silence around him. This song won Sanremo in february, just one month after I broke up with my girlfriend after 14 years and only a few days before the coronavirus emergency in Italy. In these lockdown weeks it has also taken on another meaning: we have to make "noise", because squares, streets, alleys are too empty and silent. This song is realy heartbreaking! To all the world: stay strong, stay safe. Here's the terrific performance in the Arena di Verona completly empty czcams.com/video/Ogyi0GPR_Ik/video.html
So good to see you back on CZcams! Thank your for the love you're sending to us in Italy. Our song is just beautiful and magical and I loved your emotional reaction to it❤
If you haven't seen it yet please watch the video of him singing this song live from Arena di Verona. They uploaded it on the Eurovision channel. It's so emotional
Hello and welcome back Jake, I missed you a lot, beautiful song that makes goosebumps come, I'm biased because I'm Italian, but the song is really beautiful. It is even more beautiful hearing it sung by the people looking out the windows, during the Italian nights of these infinite days that we are living in quarantine due to the corona virus. Karin Seregni has explained very well what is happening here in Italy, in hospitals and the rules to follow to protect us from this virus, I pray everyone to stay longer that you can at home, and if you have to go out stay at least one meter away from people and always cover your nose and mouth with masks, be careful not to touch your eyes and always wash your hands well for at least a minute or so ... denatured alcohol and bleach diluted with water can be used to disinfect things and people ... l pray Lord to protect us all.
Thank you so much! You made my cry.... Thank you for showing your love and compassion for everything we're going through. It means a lot to me, and to all of us here in Italy. My advice is please stay at home and don't take this lightly. We'll win and we'll get through this
Do you know what I think? That I shouldn't think that, That when I think about it, I'm an animal And when I think of you, you are a soul But maybe it's this thunderstorm That carries me to you And I know you shouldn't me Without an umbrella, even if I understood that As much as I run away I always return to you What a noise you make here And I don't know if it's good for me Whether your noise suits me But yes, make noise I can't bear it This unnatural silence Between you and me And I walk around without talking Without arriving at a place I wear my shoes And maybe my shoes know Very exactly where it goes That I'm in the same places again Exactly the places I should have avoided And I pretend I don't remember And I pretend to forget it But I understand that But I understand that As much as I run away I always return to you What kind of noise are you doing here And I don't know if it's good for me Whether your noise suits me But yes, make noise I can't bear it This unnatural silence between you and me But yes, make noise I can't bear it This unnatural silence And now I never want to give up on it On this beautiful noise you make
Each and every one of his songs is better than the other! There is so much passion, study, tradition as well as originality, great mastery in composing the lyrics and commanding skills in the music arrangements, and above all an outstanding artistry and adamantine voice. Simplicity and profundity are the keys to his songs. I keep listening to them in my forced quarantine here in Milan, at the heart of this absurd and hopeless ‘Babilonia’ (another of my favourite of his songs) and every time they surprise me for their beauty and elegance, their originality and intensity. The unnatural silence in the streets in all Italy, and in the rest of the world indeed, is unbearable and we sometimes make noise with what we have on our balconies, inspired by his song. We want to prove to ourselves we’re still alive and it’s a joy for the soul and the mind. I have seen many reactions to his songs coming from nearby or far away and everybody feels connected and touched in the same way… I’ve listened to many of Antonio’s interviews… he has just simply become my idol! A person with fine feelings and emotions. A great artist and a great man indeed.
Hi dear I usually see those type of reactions cause I love that... I'm an Italian doctor, nice to meet you... This song became real... Let me tell something about the meaning... It's so actual because, you know San Remo was on February... Just one week before our lock down on Italy... So the chours of this ballad says, sorry screams do noise!!! In this period Italy became a silence place... We had the habit in this season to do so much noise, there are tourist and so mu h people in the streets, at the beach and in any other place of Italy and now it's empty for covid... He show his sadness and his surprise on negative to see our place empty and scream do noise... It's look like we can do it... Everything gonna be alright... We survive... This songs speak of us how we are feeling right Know... It's our manifest thanks for your video ciao da Milano Mattia
I know. This is beautiful. ♥️ Jake you're so sweet, thank you for being so kind with everyone. :')
I still find myself playing this on loop, even if it was one of the earliest to be selected. Something about this song just hits you in the feels, even if you dont understand the language.

A big hug from Italy ❤️ you are so sweet. Stay safe 🇮🇹🇺🇸
Thank you so much🇮🇹
This song was written by Diodato about his ex, Levante. She is also a singer and was also competing against him in the 2020 Sanremo Festival. She was rooting for him to win the contest
That is not true. Its fake news
@@marrinelbalanubaba He did not write it for Levante
So happy you are back Jake. Really missed you. Enjoying the ESC music together with you will at least help me forget the current situation for a while. Love Italian and this ballad is just so emotional and beautiful.
"I can't stand with this unnatural silence... Make noise!" this is the meaning of the song. Greetings from Italy. I am a survivor.

Our thoughts with Italy 🇮🇹❤️
In my top 5 definitely. Sanremo was great this year, many interesting and diverse songs. Love Italian music. Thank you, Jake, for reminding us there can be optimism and love amist tragedy. Love your reaction..
Jack, you are the best! Good luck, Italy. With love from Azerbaijan🇦🇿
YAAY!! I was wondering where you were!! Can't wait for you to react to Croatia! Finally we have amazing vocalist with decent song!!
@Tara king Did you see live performance from Dora too? I swear live vocals are even better!
I'm so happy you're back. I love your reactions and insights on the contest. You bring a much needed positivity to the world, thanks Jake :)
Here's the terrific performance in the Arena di Verona completly empty

Grazie mille Jake! Keep going to share your honest reactions with us! Viva Italia!
So good to see you back on CZcams! Thank your for the love you're sending to us in Italy. Our song is just beautiful and magical and I loved your emotional reaction to it❤
This is my favorite song this year, I missed your reactions so much. I’m so happy you’re back ❤️
Thank you from Italy.Diodato is amazing and that song is fantastic!
Hi Jack, thanks from Italy... You could listen to it again with English subtitles!
Man i am so happy you back, thank you so much! 🙏❤🙌🔥
Wonderful voice ! and song ! ❤👏👏👏
Only another 39 to go :)
A truly beautiful song that i thought was dated at first, but now feels timeless - one to beat.
a sto qua gli sta venendo un infarto
100% natural reaction
happy to see you back my friend.... welcome back!!!! greetings from Italy
I agree. This is a very very pretty song in many ways
Thank you so much! You made my cry.... Thank you for showing your love and compassion for everything we're going through. It means a lot to me, and to all of us here in Italy. My advice is please stay at home and don't take this lightly. We'll win and we'll get through this
Questa é l'Italia emozioni
Do you know what I think? That I shouldn't think that,
That when I think about it, I'm an animal
And when I think of you, you are a soul
But maybe it's this thunderstorm
That carries me to you
And I know you shouldn't me
Without an umbrella, even if
I understood that
As much as I run away
I always return to you
What a noise you make here
And I don't know if it's good for me
Whether your noise suits me
But yes, make noise
I can't bear it
This unnatural silence
Between you and me
And I walk around without talking
Without arriving at a place
I wear my shoes
And maybe my shoes know
Very exactly where it goes
That I'm in the same places again
Exactly the places I should have avoided
And I pretend I don't remember
And I pretend to forget it
But I understand that
But I understand that
As much as I run away
I always return to you
What kind of noise are you doing here
And I don't know if it's good for me
Whether your noise suits me
But yes, make noise
I can't bear it
This unnatural silence between you and me
But yes, make noise
I can't bear it
This unnatural silence
And now I never want to give up on it
On this beautiful noise you make
This tugs on my heartstrings and just speaks to me last time i felt like this was Lithuanias When we’re old
This is possibly my favorite eurovision song ever, and it breaks my heart it will never get to compete. Goosebumps is right!
Each and every one of his songs is better than the other! There is so much passion, study, tradition as well as originality, great mastery in composing the lyrics and commanding skills in the music arrangements, and above all an outstanding artistry and adamantine voice.
Simplicity and profundity are the keys to his songs. I keep listening to them in my forced quarantine here in Milan, at the heart of
this absurd and hopeless ‘Babilonia’ (another of my favourite of his songs) and every time they surprise me for their beauty
and elegance, their originality and intensity. The unnatural silence in the streets in all Italy, and in the rest of the world indeed,
is unbearable and we sometimes make noise with what we have on our balconies, inspired by his song. We want to prove
to ourselves we’re still alive and it’s a joy for the soul and the mind. I have seen many reactions to his songs
coming from nearby or far away and everybody feels connected and touched in the same way… I’ve listened to
many of Antonio’s interviews… he has just simply become my idol!
Thank you for the work you do. You’re a hero.
Welcome back Jack🤗 we missed your reactions
